Yes my car was stolen twice with the club on. My hyundai is for the streets lol. I'm done I can't do it any more. I haven't even gotten it back this last time. I'm so tired of these thieves.
I actually received this device in the mail after Kia notified me of it's availability. Kia sent it out within a week. I was unsure of how to work it, and I made an appointment with my local Kia dealership for other maintenance work. I had the steering wheel lock in my car and asked the mechanic if he could show me how to use it. He refused to help me. VanDevere Kia in Akron... I am very disappointed in you. This is, after all a device that Kia sent to me....
How reliable and for how long before the lock gets stuck on the steering wheel? When should dry lubricant be applied, and which is better...W-40 or graphite lubricant?
My steering wheel lock is too short. I have to install it with the "long" arm towards the driver window for it to work. The thief will have broken that window anyway.. The arm does tend to catch on the window frame though... The arm doesn't reach the windshield at all, so the steering wheel just turns freely with the lock on it that way. Dumb design.
If you keep the wheel straight there is a chance a thief could still steer the car with the lock on the wheel. If the wheel is turned then in order to get the car out of the parking space or driveway they will have to turn the wheel all the way around which is not possible when the lock is in place.
My dealer just gave me one of these for free. Thanks Hyundai/Kia challenge! Gotta love social media...
But it's not a challenge. It's auto theft. Send them all to prison, zero mercy! 🤬👹
I have the same one and my car was stolen with it on 🤷🏽♀️🤦🏽♀️ trust me it don’t won’t
Work
@LakischaTerry-fl5xr Yeah, there are still ways. Just makes it more difficult.

When I worked at a dealership seemed like we were getting stolen/recovered cars several times a month with a notch cut in the steering wheel
Good product, bad application. Turn your lock facing down and close to the dash so it can’t be attacked by drill or hammer.
What do you mean by facing down? South? Or facing the dash?
@@malibooofacing the dash yes
How do you do that?
I have been wondering the same thing.@@abbyffuentes77

Bro said “let’s dummy proof this video and put the steering wheel lock in the back” 💀
Lol

It’s so funny that they’re using a Kia.. the police station just gave me one because my car got broken into
Some stupid kids called honey boys or Honda children .. they steal these cars
👍. What's the actual name of this steering wheel lock? It looks great
this video is back up from www.arsnusa.com/userguide

Is it safe to not leave your wheels straight?
Turn the driving wheel as much as possible so the car can always turn and be limited to a very small area (Comparing it to keep wheels straight)

You saved me with the key position to red dot, I almost returned this
I am trying to unlock with graffite and its not working. I need to go!!!!!!!
Graffite????
My key won’t turn so i cannot take it off the wheel. How do i fix this?
Please respond to this important question.
try turning your wheel while turning your key at the same time
@@Choloway He's referring to the key of steering wheel lock which is stuck on the steering wheel.
Well I’m not using this now that I read that. The guy never commented back if he got it off?
@@bettyc.6280did you get it off??
