Club 3000 Steering Wheel Lock ~ Not Today Thief!
Вставка
- Опубліковано 11 вер 2022
- The Club 3000 is a steering wheel lock designed to make your car hard to steal. The twin hooks lock onto your steering wheel. A car thief can't steer the car. It's very simple to put on and take off. It is very visible from outside the car. I would imagine most car thieves would see it and just keep going.

It's amazing that most people always use these facing outward, which makes it way easier to drill. This lady is smarter than 90% of youtube lol.
i think she had a mustache lol
I been doing it all wrong!
Damn, I been doing it wrong but my car got broken into by the Kia boys and it saved my car from being taken 😂
If they are carrying around a drill to drill the lock out they are dopes since it's easier to just cut the steering wheel with a pocket hacksaw.
Drilling is drilling it doesn’t matter the side it’s the same piece😂
Genius to flip the lock inside 🤝
Thank you for actually showing us how it stops people from driving off and being able to stear. Most videos just put it on but don’t show or explain how it makes it tough for thieves to take.
Thank you for that.
Well it's kind of obvious tho.
That's a great tip, turning the club around. Thanks.
To anyone that has a kia or Hyundai I suggest getting this. I recently had my car attempted carjacking. It is the most frustrating thing to have to file a police report and then call insurance. Protect yourself and ur property. Be safe out there.
Thank you I just got my car back from being attempted theft my parking brake save me but they still broke my ignition and busted my windows. I have a club now and I tested this theory and it works very well. Thank you.
Have used this exact lock for the last 30 years on my Father-in-law's car in a city of 4 million. It has never been stolen!
@Roman Is this really Charlie Sheen under an alias? Winning!
Has the car been damaged? Perps have been increasingly taking out vengeance on those protecting personal property by “keying” the paint or slashing tires. Modern society. Be careful.
I live in a city of 9 million and I’ve never used a steering wheel lock and never had any car stolen.
Who wants a 30yr old car
@@paulcooper4900 Actually, in the country he lives in, it wouldn't be a surprise. But the club has made the trip from car to car as he's updated it. The car may not live on but the Club has.
The best always we used it back in the 90s technology made the club go away but glad to see it making a come back.
Thank you for sharing, this was helpful! I have a Kia and my mom has a Hyundai.
I always thought it was necessary to manually put the steering wheel into the locked position before fitting the steering wheel lock device
Thank you so much for making this video!!!
Thanks for that.
We probably should put one of those on my husband‘s big truck. Everybody loves that truck!
Especially if I'm in the neighborhood.
2 weeks after I bought my car I found its one of the most stolen vehicles in my city. The other night somebody attempted to steal it and messed up the ignition. Had to have it towed and is currently being fixed. I will definitely be buying one of these, and I hope this lessens the chance of it being stolen.
Get the “DiskLok Steering Wheel Lock”
They’re pricey, but worth it!
This just happened to me!!
I’m guessing you drive a Hyundai/Kia?
Same exact situation here, ‘23 Kia.
Same here 🤦🏾♀️.
Thanks Steve. I'm shopping around after having my Hyundai stolen/recovered.
Sorry to hear that
Same lol
Damn
Got my stolen 2 days ago, in a open parking spot at the mall, was a Hyundai sonata 2017, been sad all weekend, so unfair. I wish I knew about this before 😔🥲
Same. I had a Hyundai Tucson :/
Make sure that your vehicle is alarmed and that even if thats the case theives be making a racket just to get to it so it be drawing attention to themselves.
Hello There , Thank you for great contents on car gears, hoping to have collab with you in future.
THANK YOU. THIS IS EXTREMELY HELPFULL.
Glad it was helpful!
I use two clubs on my steering wheel and I'm surprised there are not any videos about this. I put one backwards like this video shows and another front wards at a diagonal. It works. My roommate's car was stolen a few months ago but they didn't touch mine.
Ahh early 90's nostalgia.
Thank you
Thanks you so much hope this works for my Kia !
Great video, turn the lock where it can’t be hammered or drilled.
Just fyi GEICO was HORRIBLE with me. It cost 2,100 to fix the damage when my Elantra was jacked and Geico only approved 1,400. My deductible was 500 so I had to put out a total of 1,200 from my own pocket. Victimized twice.
Thank you!
You bet!
Thank you for this we going through this in MD. And with Kia and Hyundai they tried to steal my Kia two weeks ago smh.
Sorry to hear that It really sucks those cars have been targeted.
Just got my Elantra back
this works too, but it doesn’t protect your airbag which people steal on some vehicles
Looking at this considering removing the plastic coating and wiring up a poultry electric fence shocker .
0:15 that is not a twin hook steering wheel lock. Twin hook models have 2 hooks on each end, so 4 hooks total. The one in the video only has 2 total hooks.
Is the twin hooker better?
My thoughts exactly, I have the 2100 which is the old design. Which is the same as this.
Years ago I worked as a dealership mechanic and I saw several stolen recovered vehicles with a notch cut out of the steering wheel. My mother had a steering wheel lock and I never told her. But I would not bother with one
They can be broken easy enough but they are again being recommended as most thieves are doing it with electronics and not hand tools like in the past. So the idea is they will take the next car so they don't have to deal with anything but starting the car remotely, unlocking it and driving it away.
I just bought one but was sad to see that some can easily pick the lock, but this truck will definitely help
This can be opened or defeated almost as quick as installation
..this is good advise.. put the lock facing the dash..a slap hammer dent puller will pop the lock out in seconds..!!!..
The key facing the steering column, gives them access to the back of the lock, which is only about an eighth to a half of an inch of steel before they hit the actual mechanism that locks it so forward or backwards is safe either way
Something so simple yet so complicated. I’d never thought to put it on like that. But when i put it on facing me i was like🤨
1- if i was a thief, seeing a such lock would already dissuade me from trying to steal that car
2- if i trigger the car alarm, I'll definitely won't have time to drill anything
3- therefore i don't think the key lock facing the back or the front matters much beside its more of a pain for me to unlock it..
To each their own beliefs. Same as for politics, religion or covid 😂😂😂😂
Why is she installing it that way? The black tip end is not pressed up against your windshield so the steering wheel can still be turned plenty enough to drive the vehicle away. 0:58 can you say it will hit obstructions, but you’ve already turned the wheel 90° counterclockwise and it looks like you can turn it almost 45° clockwise which could very well be enough.
Wait people actually still use these?
Most people just cut the steering wheel
Isn't it hard to understand licker for owner tho?
My Hyundai got stolen about a week ago but the police just found it. The criminals bust the back window & was able to start my car with a USB cord. I cant believe that people pay so much money for these cars & they are so easy to steal. Hyundai & Kia makers need to be assume of themselves. Whoever own a Hyundai or Kia need a club. I just bought me one.
They don't bother picking the lock, they cut it with a grinder, takes 5 sec.
they bend it -.-
Get a manual transmision car ? That’s all u gotta do bro I leave mine unlocked 😂
So true! LOL
Car thief - hacksaw the steering wheel in 15 seconds..
..good by car...
This is the old style club, not the new style. This is the 2100 not the 3,000.
Sorry to break the bad news...now they'll just smack the glass and steal the airbag...
🗣️Heard that these crooks are signal syncing fobs that are in close proximity to the vehicle. Programming their fob to the car and driving off with the car. Smh! They can steel annnnnnnnnny car that has a key fob! So irritating. Cant wait till we have facial recognition to start vehicles or something. Cause this is just getting out of hand.
Also, these scums are cutting the steering wheel and pulling through the damn steering locks. Smh!
So now I'm thinking to put 2 steering locks on the car. I already have a early 2000 club brand on my car. Ancient but it works! Want a 2nd one.
Looked at the disk lock but saw too many bad reviews for my liking. So not getting that. I wish could create my own steering lock, I would put more prungs on it and thicker bars. Put two locks on it too. 😆
Plus just ordered a Faraday bag for my key fobs. One to keep on my key ring and one to keep inside on the 2nd set. I disable the easy entry button on the doors through my car settings. I swear we hv to be 5 steps ahead cause they are coming for the cars.
Stay protected yall! 💃
They can cut the steering wheel. Much easier with a cordless saw.
Don’t really needs a saw for that, but you are correct brother💯
I know thats some funny crap. they are worried about a drill to the lock, but not thinking about a saw to the wheel. WTF
Pocket hacksaw works as well.
I just got my car stolen, & I had my wheel lock this exact same way, smh... idk what to do anymore
You had this on and they still took your car?
@Ms Becky yes they did, & I also had one of those faraday key signal blockers, this is my 2nd time getting hit since September, I'm so devasted
Ramon, what car did you have stolen? I’m about to get a few of these locks for our Lexus RX350, my mom RX350L and my brother Range Rover was stolen within a few minutes, I’m hoping this lock will deter them away but reading your comments even with the reverse lock really scares me. It’s amazing what these thieves can do!!!
@Joe N 2017 Nissan Maxima, & a 2020 Nissan Maxima....
Idk maybe I didn't have it locked tight enough, it wouldn't hurt to try tho...
’m sorry to hear that! My car was stolen a few days ago and I was told today that it’s been recovered. I’m looking to get up my security too! What city was it stolen from?
I’m not sure this is the most effective device.. 😂
Your sister live in Baltimore doesn’t she lol
No thank goodness.
LOLz 10 seconds with a hacksaw into the steering wheel and its off ... they do not work ... get a kill switch
HAHAHA THEY CUT THE WEEEEEL
Takes about 4 seconds to get around that. Grab the end and pull with brute force, whilst your foot is pushing the centre. Busted in seconds.
You should take the comment off so people can’t see how easy it is 🤝🏽 don’t help the thief’s
Surely they can still drive with it on no? 🤣
No they can't. You can't steer.
these are worthless, my car was stolen with one they just cut the wheel!
Thank you
You're welcome
