Really enjoyed your trip to Alula. I’m going there in February for the first time. I’m an Aussie living in Riyadh. Great to see more westerners enjoying Saudi, such a magical place and friendly people 😊

Beautiful place, thanks for sharing. The night view of Hegra is beautiful, but I'd love to see it during the day time when I get there in this April. I guess there are also tour for Hegra during the day time? thanks.🙂🙏

Hi! Thanks for the comment. Yes, there are day tours to Hegra, absolutely! I didn’t include info but we did a jeep tour through Hegra one year which was brilliant: a guide explains all the main sites and tombs. You can also get out of the jeep to walk in some of the tombs. Highly recommend! Just make sure to check the official website as they change the activities available each year. And also best to book ahead because many of the popular activities sell out. Hope that helps. Have an amazing trip! 😊

@@MJ-Travel Oh that’s great! My pleasure! Also what I meant to say is that while many of the activities remain the same each year, they do change some of them :)

Unfortunately not for tourists but residents and Saudi citizens can fly drones with approved permits.
