Thanks for watching!
What program is this?
I used this tutorial to improvise cartoonish wind effects on a intense zoom animation, just changing a few settings, thank you for this quick and clear video, helped me a lot
Onagi nice! I like hearing when people repurpose these techniques to achieve their desired result! 👍
Just an FYI but "Echo" is a _super_ heavy effect that can take hours to render even short clips.
Great tutorial! Can’t wait to get in on that CC Ball Action
Came for the stars, stayed for the ball action
💦💦😏
Great tutorial. Thanks for the help. Love it when it's short and sweet and gets to the point.
😁
What a beautifully concise tutorial! Thank you!
Your awesome. My crazy professor said I had to create my own hyperspace star field for my assignment. You rock.
so yeah! Bye? lol glad you're here teaching and being yourself. thanks for the tips.
uch a great video! Learned a lot, even things I’ve already known just refined my understanding
Subscribed brotha, I appreciate how it was short sweet and to the point and not some like 30 minute long tutorial lol thank you
Okay, thank you Tyler! That was very helpful!
Glad it was helpful!
Great tutorial! Thanks! This is what I need for my projects.
LOL the akwardness when he explains stuff makes the video perfect. Big thanks for the tutorial. Nice one.
Great tutorial!

You win! Thank you
end was hilarious
Thanks !!!!!
This is really good
Don't forget the S_BlurMotion, redshift & optics compensation :)
that was so much better, thanks
thnxx
Useful.
hey mate, how i change the speed of that zooming? ty :)
make the last keyframe value for the 3d camera closer to the first keyframe value like -650 instead of 0. or enable a time stretch for the precomp if your'e lazy but I don't think it'll look as good (if you can do that which I think you can)
I know that I am late but I can give u an answer😅. You can play with the graph to change the speed or u can just make the second frame closer to the first frame but I suggest you to do the first choice
Hi, first, thanks a lot that people like you made free tutorials for everyone.
I’m a new AE beginner and I followed your tutorial step by step
,but after I add camera, I just can’t move(Unable to orbit camera)is there anything I should set?
Hi. I dont know of any setting that would affect this. If you are using the camera tool is should work. A way around it is to manually set key frames for the cameras position by changing the values for the Z position. I hope you figure it out; I'm not sure why it isnt working.

the layer with the cc ball action needs to be 2d not 3d, then your camera will work
It shows up to me, the background is yellow and the stars are black, how could I invert it, please?
Make sure the solid layer is yellow, not black. The composition background might be the thing you made yellow? LMK
It would be better if you showed the menus you entered in detail.
Instead of getting rays of light, I'm getting a repeated ball effect, what am I doing wrong
What do you have input for "echo time?" It should be about -0.003 (not -0.03). Wasnt obvious in the video and thats my fault.. Thats my guess at the issue. Lmk
Creativid Studios i’m getting the same thing, it’s a repeated ball effect and i have my settings exactly like yours.
how would i make it travel faster
Hey friend, how would I do it if I want to do it with 30 seconds and with the same speed?
Hi! This is another way to do it ua-cam.com/video/4_MzNGl-i4U/v-deo.html
The hyperjump reminds me of No mans sky c;
im gonna try to hook this up to twixtor wish me luck guys
How are you looping CC Ball action effect in AE? I am moving my camera away and after 1000 camera distance balls are gone. No idea how to make that animations last for a few minutes. Thanks ;)
Maybe export the short composition, then duplicate, make it appear behind the first instance at half time
Got a problem. I'm a newb. I'm using After Effects CC V 14.2.1.34. They system will not allow you to set a -1280 to 0 position.
When you go to the end of the timeline and set it to "0" frame one changes to "0" the end result is no animation. ERRRRR!
Scott Fichter you need to make sure you click the stopwatch next to the parameter before you set the keyframes.
THANK YOU! Funny, I was researching the solution and was reporting back. Then I saw your reply. Thanks again man! I love the channel.
he says ah kay just like kevin hart takes the micky
Preview is at 2:43
I put a preview at 0:19
Why is it that if you leave it as a 2D layer it acts as though it were a 3D?
Right? It's dope. The CC Ball Action effect is a "3d effect." There are other effects in AE like that too. You can tell it's a 3d effect if it has the cube icon in the top of the effect in the effects panel. There's a few more of them that I can't think of off the top of my head.

used this effect for a pink floyd music video, you can check it out on my channel if interested!
How do I change the angle?
hey. not exactly sure if I understood what you were asking. But if you rotate the camera angle within the camera layer parameters, after animating the position, the comp should adjust the stars so they no longer come from the center. I hope this answers your question, if not, could you clarify what you had meant?
--Tyler
Creativid Studios sorry if you didn’t know what I meant. What I meant was how do I make the stars turn sideways, upward, and downward instead of it coming towards you. Like how to make the stars Move sideways. Please let me know if you don’t understand and thank you so much!
DaNk MEmeS ok that’s what I thought you meant. I think you should follow the whole tutorial first (with the echo and camera moving forward) and then change the rotation angle of the camera. If you make the camera point up, the stars will move from bottom to top. Pointed right, they’ll move from left to right, etc. Change the camera rotation within the layer parameters in the timeline, and don’t use the camera tool to do that because it might mess it up depending on what mode you are in.
At the 1:26 mark going to camera hitting P those blue number where you enter -1080 doesn't show up for me in 2020 adobe how else can I do that step?
Hi. This is really a bizarre thing to happen. I use 2020 also - I swear the position parameters are definitely supposed to be there. Anyway, a way to get to those position controls is by twirling down that thing that looks like ">" to the left of the layer name on the camera layer and then twirl down for the "transform" section in that layer - And in there, adjust the position values. OR what you can do is use the camera tool in the top tool bar/panel - On the tool panel, at three spots to the left of the pen tool, click and hold on the button (might look like a camera) and select "Track Z Camera Tool" and click and drag up or down in the composition video area.

I have the demo and it isn’t working
Specifically which part isn't working?
@@BWayMotion the part where I make the stars move nothing is moving
@@BWayMotion the stars are just staying still
@@ttthassi4453 That may be my fault.
I hadn't said "click the stopwatch icon to the left the position settings" in my video. So before changing the position settings on the camera, make sure you click that stopwatch icon . And that is how after effects knows you want to make keyframes for the setting. Keyframes are the diamonds at appear. That's how you tell the software where to start and end the animation, then it will figure out the settings in between.
Did this help?
@@BWayMotion yes it helped thank tou
anyone know if can do this in illustator? without moving ofcouse.
Its just sits still for me, am i doing something particularly wrong?
No, the tutorial is flawed or it applies to an older version.
@@monicafranceschi the less the better? or just 24?
So I've tried this but when I pre-compose I lose my stars and when I render it out I also lose my stars.
Huh... You're precomposing the, camera too, right? And is the precomp layer visible in the Timeline panel? And within the precomp, are there both layers - camera and solid (stars)? - if all is in check, I think it might be a software issue... try adding the echo effect to an adjustment layer above the two layers without precomposing. Let me know if this does or doesn't work.
Thanks. That did the trick. Only thing is I want to render a PNG sequence but I keep getting an error. So I settled for a Jpeg sequence instead and that worked.
stars are not working on mine :(( they are all circles
What do you have input for "echo time?" It should be about -0.003 (not -0.03). Thats my guess at the issue. Lmk
@@BWayMotion it worked! i didn't noticed, thank you!! :)
@@melovans49 Np :)
this didn't work for me
how i can made slow the effect?.
alt f4 and hit "do not save" after working on it all day
My camera movement just freezes when I play all the way through...but not when I go with my mouse aroud it I see the motion ! Weird
IT DOESNT WORK😭
Testicle 😂
u sound like badboyhalo
Or you know, just give us the overlay/loop like that nobody needs to do this lol
How do you make the effect speed up? As if I was consistently traveling at hyper-drive speed?
This comment inspired me to make a new tutorial with a different technique that will hopefully work better. The new video is on my channel. Thanks for the comment!
increase or decrease the number on the camera position and that will speed up or slow down the effect.
How do i create it with different colors of the particles
Change the color of the solid or add a fill effect to the stars.
ok thanks i subscribe cheers
