I sold mine awhile ago. The 2019 models have a different grill than the 2017’s. You would need to buy one that fits your vehicle, pry out the bow tie and place the black one you would get out of a standard one. The tabs on the back of the black one would need to be sanded down so it would sit flat. Then using 2 faced adhesive tape you would bond the black one to the lighted housing.
@@TheCarCrazyGuy can I please purchase the part and just ship it to you for you to do for me for a fee ? Lol I’d rather do that! I can pay for shipping and pay you for the labor! I have a 2018 Colorado. Is it possible to remove the gold part of the bow tie and not the chrome surrounding and paint the gold to a different color or can I only remove the whole thing?

When you purchased this bowtie did it come with one or two ?
That's REALLY nice thanks for sharing!!
I am wanting to make a flow tie for mine. I know I don’t need the air, but I think it will look neat, and will be essentially free.
Thanks for the video, just did the same thing on the gold illuminated bow tie i got for my chevy colorado!
I thought they made a black illuminated bow tie. I had one on my 2017 Colorado.
I just painted mine, looks just like the factory black emblem.
Looks really nice
Thank you!
It is looking too much better now!

I'm sorry I don't
Where can i find for my chevy traverse 2k11
How do you get the headlights to flicker like that?
Bulbs are LED. My cameras refresh rate causes it. Looks normal in person.
A shame the gold one got discontinued
It is, but as a business GM has to make money, and if there’s not many Cruzes around, then they have to discontinue it.
