It was as though she knew what the writer of that song missed or left out,, which would have made sense because writers can't sing and singers can't write.. (to some degree) The only difference between her >NOT< being the best of all time during her eras was the racist and prejudges that were prevalent during her generation (1917 - 1996) There was another singer who was capable of voice control who died recently and his name was Luther Vandross.
