The duck looks so good. We didn't get to eat a full dinner meal at the buffet on our recent NCL Getaway cruise, but we did go some nights right before they take away the dinner items. We did try a few things that looked interesting. Some of the items they have were surprising good.
I have watched your videos more than once and I love how much you enjoy food. You and I would be great travel buddies. I cant wait to cruise again. Also wanted to say how cute your son is.
Omg, everything look so delicious! The giant woks of sautéed shrimp, and the steaks with fried onions on top were one of my favorites. My goodness, the roasted duck station looks amazing- I’ll probably go multiple trips for that!!!!😂🥰
My dream is to sit on a stool in the corner of the ship’s bakery and watch how the excellent bakers turn out SO MANY BAKED GOODS. It’s amazing to me the variety and quality that comes out of those bakeries. Same goes for the regular food but the bakery is my dream…….👩🏼🍳🧑🏻🍳👨🏼🍳
We'll almost always eat at the MDR, and as early as possible, and then later visit the buffet. If we do eat usually it's just more veggies & fruits, but if there are really good food we'll sample some of it.
They seem to give you only one small slice at the carvery, not enough for a meal. I wouldn't want 10 different things on my plate, but to choose what I wanted and get a decent serving. I think I would find the serving practices frustrating.
@@TravelTouristVideos not sure I want to beg for my dinner. If you keep holding your plate out, they should add more. I have actually experienced this meanness. If I have a roast beef dinner at home, you bet I have more than one slice!
That sucks about what happened! Yeah we've also ran into one or two not-so-friendly buffet servers throughout the years, but most are pretty nice & do their job well.
Wierd question.. where would you sit? At the Window or in the mid and a table after the table at the window.. (understand me?) Gimme a reason why and why not 😂 amd i give mine 😋😂

Or "what is this?" AND if there are a LifeBoat "why are there blinds? Do people dont like the LifeBoats?"
Since you're a foodie, Holland America certainly has much better food than MSC. If you're willing to pay for specialty dining, however, MSC has very good food in those restaurants.

Agree 100% on how talented the bakers are on cruise ships- we definitely enjoyed eating their hard work. Hope that dream of yours come true! 🙂

Oh yeah we would have grabbed more but we were actually pretty full after coming from the main dining room for the sit-down dinner 😁
My favorite soup is Hot & Sour and that looks particularly good! Wait...no vinegar taste? Nooo! Lol! That's the best part!

The buffet looks nice but with all the specialty restaurants and main dining room how often does one actually eat in the buffet?

If they give a slice that's too small, you can ask for another slice no problem. You can always go back & get more too.

I've been on Norwegian, Carnival, & R.C.C.L I'm a foodie what cruise line should I try next Holland America or M.S.C?
Since you're a foodie, Holland America certainly has much better food than MSC. If you're willing to pay for specialty dining, however, MSC has very good food in those restaurants.
