What do you think? I am really liking this new bumper. The bumper is WAY stronger than the one that came with the truck. More truck modifications coming soon. Like and Subscribe!
You can check out this bumper on Amazon here: amzn.to/3QLN0fr
That looks great on your truck. It really gives the front end that ranch style look. Very nice man.
Thanks 👍 I really like it.
Truck looks good, i also debated lifting mine, i went with a 3" cognito leveling kit and couldn't be happier with the ride and quality of the kit, huge improvement
Nice. I was thinking about a kit up front, but am still just running the torsion bars a little tighter.
I just ordered mine. Can't wait. Might have it installed though instead of lugging that big thing on by myself! Love the video
It was a job. I had to use a floor jack and some fancy maneuvering to get it lined up. I love it though. It's nice and strong. Thanks for checking out the video.
@@SeidelRanch That exactly what I was thinking, I appreciate the info!
BEAUTIFUL TRUCK! KEEP AS IS
Thank You.
I’ll tell you what man. These bumpers are strong as hell. Personally got one on my Chevy and man it’s had two battles with ppl backing into me and let’s just say I won…. No damage on my end but shit it done F’d up those two diesels that hit me. Worth the money for sure 👍🏼
Awesome. That is what I want to hear. I am loving it.
That looks really nice on the truck. It's a ranch truck now.
I think so too!
Awesome 👏🏻
Thanks 🤗
its clean man
Thank you.
Nice I be following you for ideas I this bought a 2019 and would like do something like this on my truck
Awesome. I have a few more upgrades in mind. I will start working on them again when time allows.
Just put one on my son's truck. Then yesterday on mine. The instructions kind of suck. Just hit you tube for a video. It's pretty straight forward.
I thought my instructions were fine. Do you have the same truck I have?
Looks great! How did you mount the block heater though? Was there a hole for it already pre drilled?
Thanks. Yes, in the side of the bumper there is a precut circle that you can punch if you need it (gas vs diesel). I just took a screwdriver and popped it out.
I’m gonna install that because I wanna look like a game warden to scare poachers off my property!
Is your truck green? That would look awesome.
@@SeidelRanch it’s black bc Texas wardens drive black silverados
@@AngerDuck I still have the old green trucks in my head, but you are right. I think the last one I saw was black or dark grey.
That said, I would probably have a few other ideas to "scare poachers off my property". That stuff fires me up.
Sick bumper man! I love mine on all my trucks! It will serve you well! Truck looks good as is. Sounds like you tow with it, I personally would not lift it
I do tow quite a bit with it. Thanks for the feedback. I love this bumper too.
@@SeidelRanch good luck man
@@craighunter988 Thanks.
Just got one question. I’ve heard some people say that after installing this bumper on 20-22 Silverado 2500 with l5p, some people have seen temps rise when driving or towing. Just want to know if anybody else is had the problem before I bite the bullet and get one.
I have not seen it, but that does not mean it won't happen. Air flow is a big deal.
Hey did the sensors just attach right up ? Like the wires were long enough to match up to the ranch hand ?
Yeah, no issues there. Plugged right in.
It needs the back bumper to match. And Personally, I would get automatic sidesteps or straigh to rock sliders (I would bet I saw in the internet some rocksliders that also have Automatic deploying side steps, But I cant remember the name or brand)
I did want to get a matching rear bumper, but it seems Ranch Hand did not make one like the front.
Did your High Country have the plug in for the block heater on the stock bumper? If it did, does the ranch hand have a spot to keep it? I'd hate to lose mine but I'm wanting this bumper.
It has a spot for it. You just have to pop out the metal circle to install it.
@@SeidelRanch Beautiful, I couldn't find that information anywhere for some reason. Appreciate the reply.
@@leeparnell89 Good luck. It's been great.
Apologies if I missed it, but did you level this truck? How many inches? What brand kit? Your stance is perfect and the bumper/brush guard looks awesome. Great job!
Thanks. I did not put a kit on it but I did tighten the torsion bars some to lift the front to level. The 37s needed just a little more clearance to keep from rubbing.
@@SeidelRanch it looks like you put a 3” level on. I appreciate the content, it helps me with my strategy.
@@ryanrobertson6157 No problem. I was thinking about putting on a kit up front but I still have a lot of travel left after tightening the bars. I did get an alignment on it to correct the angle after I tightened them.
What type of spacers did you put in and what size? Thanks!!!
I made this video about them: ua-cam.com/video/gVMXPicXnzg/v-deo.html. They are 2" Titan spacers.
Hey bud do you have the camera on the front? How did u change that.
I do have the front camera. The camera is in the grill so I did not have to mess with that. It still works like it should.
Really nice video! I must ask, why the full replacement rather than a grille guard? Im not a farmer, but i do a lot of highway driving in my truck and im debating if its worth spending 2.5x the price on the full replacement bumper vs the grille guard. I plan on driving this truck for the life of it.
I just did not like the sheet metal bumper. The stock bumper is very weak and probably made to crumble. I also plan on keeping this truck till it can't go any further, so it was an investment for me. I feel this bumper would hold up a lot better against a deer and it gave me more clearance for the larger tires.
After hitting a deer in my 2020 2500 a few weeks ago it damaged the stock bumper pretty good. Getting this as the replacement 😊
You should get a RH legend rear bumper
I so wanted to, but they don't make them with the pipe anymore. All they seem to have is the bent metal ones that are not as tough. I was hoping they would add that soon. Will see.
What did you ever do with your stock bumper? It sure would look nice on my white 2021 2500 LTZ with a goofy looking dent in my front chrome bumper. 😎
Yeah, that is exactly what I did with it. I sold it and it went pretty fast. I think I priced it too low, but at least someone got to use it. It did have a little damage from the tire separation issue I had, but not noticeable really. It was also at a time parts were hard to come by. I bet now the availability of parts has increased.
@@SeidelRanch yeah, parts availability have definitely increased, but so has parts costs. Lol. I'm thinking of pulling the dent in the front chrome bumper, sanding the holy hell out of it and the rear bumper, then painting them to color match. It would cost a whole lot less than what's out there now.
Good looking truck you got btw. 😎
@@catchkcsglide7945 Thanks. Yeah, everything has gotten out of hand. That is one reason I started upgrading my truck. I had a front tire lose it's tread and tear up the front driver's side of the truck. It was cheaper to upgrade the truck then it was to repair it back to stock.
I like the color match look more than chrome all over so I bet that will look nice. Hope it cleans up easy.
Truck looks great! I also have a '20 High Country 2500, but the only thing preventing me from getting this bumper is that I can't find any video or pictures of what the 360 camera view looks like with the grill guard installed. Can you show me what it looks like?
Thanks. I will see if I can get a picture and upload it somewhere.
@@SeidelRanch Thanks, I look forward to seeing it!
These are the best I could get: drive.google.com/drive/folders/1jOMY1-LstO76zP69gNDRjc-bUEyyuzQY?usp=sharing
@@SeidelRanch The grill guard doesn't really get in the way of any of the camera views, I'm so relieved! Thank you so much for taking the time to answer my questions!
Does this bumper have an an option to mount with an internal winch?
Mine does not, but it does have the front receiver hitch so I can put my winch on a receiver mount. That is how I have my winch setup.
Did you record a step by step on how to take the bumper off?
Sorry, I did not. But, I do have to say the instructions that come with the bumper are spot on. Look up the bumper online and I think they have the directions available to download.
I got a 2020 high country and I’d like to know what tires are those?? they look nice
Check this video out: ua-cam.com/video/u3xNtDDU3GA/v-deo.html. I love them. Best MT tires I have ever owned.
@@SeidelRanch I appreciate it I’m definitely gonna get those tires, I’ve got a Ranch Hand bumper guard coming in too
@@freddynigoche8310 I really like the bumper too. It's been nice and sturdy. No vibrations or shaky areas. Very strong.
I forgot to ask but how does it look like thru the camera does cover it a bit?
Any rust issues. Rust around the welds?
No rust. It was painted very well.
How to did you get rid of the original mud flaps
Couple bolts and they come right off. It looks a little funny without them so I put on all new fender flares.
Looks nice, how do you prevent the rust?
I have not had any issues with rust. The bumper is powder coated, so I hope that is enough.
Sweet Chevy!
I got the Midnight Series full front replacement bumper for my 2021 Ram 1500 and the place I had install it was also a Line-X installer as well and they recommended having it Line-Xd to keep it from rusting since I live in Michigan.
