- Experience life inside Singapore’s maximum-security prison through the eyes of real inmates. This documentary gives an unfiltered look at daily routines, intense personal reflections, and the struggles of isolation faced by prisoners serving long sentences. Inmates share their journeys, from personal mistakes and family separation to finding purpose and dealing with past regrets. Follow their lives as they confront mental and emotional challenges, cope with loss, and search for redemption within the walls of solitary confinement.
Through candid moments and authentic conversations, viewers witness the tight security routines, the strict morning master checks, and the inmates’ limited freedom during exercise sessions. Officers also reflect on the balance between safety and rehabilitation, sharing their perspectives on the complex role they play in supporting inmates’ eventual reintegration into society. Prisoners open up about coping mechanisms, past traumas, and hopes for a new life outside, even as they struggle with the scars of their past and the weight of their actions.

I think having a mattress will help more with stress and anger than a 15min music therapy tune in the mornings
Right if you’re not sleeping good then you’ll always be in a bad mood.
Absolutely
This is the type of bedding typical in traditional Malay (within Singapore) homes. No doubt it's not what some are used to but I'd doubt it causes that much stress/ anger. Not much different to a wafer thin 'mattress' on a concrete bad frame and it folds up to save space.
@@onlyme219 it’s a tatami mat, typical of Asian homes.
Lmao for real
I feel so blessed to go on my walk this morning after watching this.
Watching him Walking in a cell corner to corner is rough.
Already in about 30 min, and the prison seems so CLEAN compared to others I've seen.
This prison is paradise compared to others like in South America. But I myself couldn’t even spend a day there without going crazy. I thank God and my family who raised me with dignity, respect, values and moral integrity to never ever think about breaking the law. 🙏🏾.
You think everyone in prison broke the law? U must be very sheltered. Also you'll be surprised what u can handle when you have no choice
@@jetfryl9831😂 no they all innocent! Take all of them to stay at your house ! Common man stop with this nonsense. Ya maybe 1 out of 100 million could be mistaken and wrong convicted but in very rare and unusual cases! If you wanna spend some time lock up let me know and I can help you 😅
@@Bigboro
Some laws are MEANT to be broken
Don't be such a 🐑
More prisons around the world should operate their prisons from this model IMO.
I bet people would be trying alot harder to be a "good citizen"
100th time this documentary has been uploaded on utube
I’ve never seen it and I’m on UA-cam quite a lot! 🤷🏻♀️

For real it's getting annoying
4:08 damn not even a pillow?!? 😳
When I joined the RAF, we had to have all our bedding and other things laid out in a certain way but we had done nothing wrong. 😂🤣
Interesting but far too many ads
how to create monsters
Needs to be closed captioned.
Do all the prisoners have a release plan and program? This is not so in the US. Prisoners seem to be released with the clothes on their backs and little else.
🚽 and 🚿 but no 🛏???
dude smoked smoke weed or sth and now he's getting disciplinary search for making origamis and makeshift hooks
Ol mate needs to practice his layups 🏀
The disease level in there must be astronomical
I'll be sure not to visit
Oh love the him’s and her’s ad! “This is America…” I’m assuming they mean “This is America, be lazy and take a weight loss drug”!! Only assuming. Hey fun fact.. nothing pays off like diet and exercise. Do better Merica!!
Their parents must be so proud that they are not childfree 😂😂😂😂!
@OpinionatedGlobalCitizen Huh? Who the parents or prisoners?
