I still think it's dumb that the restaurant isn't the one to call the customer for substitutions like okay wait till I get there. Waste my time. Waste your time. Well we all wait for the customer to maybe answer their phone or text to see if they maybe want to substitute something half of the time. They just cancel the order anyway. It could have been easier if you know the restaurant called the customer as soon as they notice that the order was not able to be completed what's the point of DoorDash giving them a DoorDash tablet? I don't even get a DoorDash phone and I have to call them

You cannot reach your customers all the time and the past two weeks doordash has stopped letting you do that you cannot get a hold of your customers it is saying that the number is no longer in service and that is doordash number not the customer's number you can't even get a hold of the store to find out the right address if it's a new store
