States the blatantly obvious things eg "Oh look there's a plant, he might take this on" and so on. Adds no value to the frame being watched in my opinion. Whereas Alan get's the technical side of this, "if he imparts this side here this will happen", "you have to remember when you're sitting in the chair to think this and that" etc etc.

Love your Channel Stephen, great to see Alan again too. I played snooker with him in his old house in Mossend, Bellshill. when he had his “Wee Table” as a kid.
It would be great if you do a video all about side. What I mean is, when potting a ball (Red) and let’s say hitting it half ball will pot it. That’s fine with plain ball. However, if you’re using side on the cue ball, the cue ball will deviate. Therefore, missing the intended target. So, how do you guys workout how much the cue ball will deviate by the strength the ball is struck and the distance from the target ball.
What the pros say is that the cue ball will curve, but they never explain. Ok, half ball will pot it, however, I’m putting righthand side on the cue ball so I have to aim maybe quarter ball to compensate for the deviation.
    Hope that makes sense.
    All the Very Best
    Alan McLernon
