Also, it's true though..People can have a child whenever they want to..It might look a bit weird/off but that's just how people are in this generation. You see it as something wrong while another person sees the opposite (I don't really enjoy seeing Teen mom's for the same reason as yours). It's just that people are stupid and don't make smart decisions. The Teen should have already thought beforehand the consequences but sadly, not a lot do that 🤦..

And there is no underage in international sense.
In some countries, you are mature at 21, in some at 18, in some at 16.
And even then different laws exist even if 18 is considered mature.
You can first drink alcohol at 21 in USA, but you can drive cars at 16, while maturity is 18.
In many countries you are allowed to marry as soon as you can bear/father children.
She can have children and there is nothing wrong with that.
She should raise them herself.
Her mother should help her, give her tips, take care of the children from time to time, but raising children should be done by thd mother.

I'm 23 and haven't done anything with a girl, and to be frank I don't want to until I meet someone I want to be with and have a stable home with good income etc. This girl didn't think this through beyond 'I want someone to love me' or 'I want to get on TV'. She is quite our society SHOULDN'T be able to make. but here she is being 'a kid' and living with adult consequences because she made an adult decision for selfish reasons

Alphaəα Kr but you dont have any experience now and you're an adult!! you need experience, not sexual experience, just dating experience in general. dating is sister spooky, and not something that should be waited to do at such an old age. of course it has a lot to do with how mature someone is. im 13, and personally my mom doesnt allow me to date. ive dated though, behind her back. i know, that makes my level of maturity lower than you think but even my grandma agrees that i needed the experience. now ive gone through two "heartbreaks" and i know what to look out for. my grades are unaffected, still taking sophomore classes in 8th grade. i like to say ive had two boyfriends, i dont count my first "boyfriend" it was a silly childish 6th grade decision that wasnt anything close to a relationship. my second one was very childish too, we were too awkward to even be dating and he broke up with me which left me sad. perhaps not as "heartbroken" as my last one, but definitely sad. my third and most recent was my first kiss. we were together for about 6 months and i learned a lot. i learned how to talk out problems instead of leaving them there. i learned that arguments once in a while is healthy, as long as they end well, in which both people understand each other more. i learned how to reject sexual acts and how to stand up for myself and make it clear i dont want any of that until im older. i learned that jealousy is the root to most breakups. and all this i learned, i can now use to be smarter when i start looking for a life partner.
i guess all you can take from this is that it depends on how mature someone is, and therefore a healthy age for dating varies between everyone. i really wish my mom would understand im mature enough to have a simple guy who i have mutual feelings with lmao. but she doesnt, and some day i'll reveal to her my past "relationships". all things happen for a reason i guess.

I was 17 when I got pregnant, I turned 18, 3 months after my daughter was born. I have raised her every single day myself - with the help of her father of course - but no chance in hell was anyone else raising my daughter.
At 16 I was going to school, cheerleading practice and competitions, going to youth group and being a teen and I wasn't sexually active. I am now 22 and saving myself for marriage. Please ban shows like 16 and pregnant and teach these kids on why they need birth control and condoms. I have zero sympathy for most teen moms (except for victims of rape or incest).
Ikr people are always thinking its fine to get pregnant at such a young age and just support them when they dont realize the responsibility that comes with it. Partly from parenting as well

If she decided to bring a child into the world but doesn't wanna raise him, she's better off not being anywhere near that child. Her mom should give her grandson up for adoption or refuse her from seeing her son if she's not going to see how that is going to affect him later on.
Guys, stop pointing out her teeth. The treatment is very expensive and it isn't even limited to getting braces sometimes. I have a reverse bite and my teeth are a bit crooked as well. I have to get braces and surgery too. I am terrified of having a surgery so I haven't had my teeth treated yet. So don't judge her. Maybe she's happy the way she is. It is highly embarrassing and degrading when someone points out a flaw about you and it is not in your control. It is a real blow to someone's self esteem.
I have an over bite and never needed braces. They are straight, and never had any discomfort.

@@nxgsonmars9826 well, my grandmother suffered from overbite, and had no problems. She said people worry too much about them and dentists will make excuses for you to spend thousands on treatment that really isn't that necessary. My parents have an overbite and have no troubles with it. So many people are born and die with an overbite with no issues to their jaw. So I am not too worried about my overbite. Never had any pain, discomfort or feel anything from out of the ordinary. I'm over 20 now and the dentists are saying not to worry about the overbite, if I haven't had any issues and treatment before, then I don't need it now unless otherwise

@@nxgsonmars9826 a lot of dentists do it for the money. You know your teeth better than the dentists. You know if you have pain and discomfort , you know how often you brush and floss. A lot of people live with crowded teeth (like my sister) but very few dentists will be honest with you about it. Mine are very honest to me. Know yourself, if you cant handle your teeth because something is bothering it very bad, then get it checked ou, and see the possible treatments. I never needed braces though I do know they are very effective, but dentists will see one wonky tooth and suggest your whole mouth is wonky. Follow your gut, again you know your teeth better than anyone else!

She’s 18... she’s not a kid anymore. I got pregnant at 18 and I had my own place, car, job, worked until 2 days before I gave birth. No excuses. And my family is poor as they come.
I got pregnant at 19 and I was suffering from depression, anxiety and Suicidal thoughts, and I’m here, 21, taking care of a 2 1/2 year old child. And I am proud to say I made it this far considering the place I was in before. She needs to step up and raise her child! Yes it’s hard, yes it’s stressful, and yes it is hard to deal with, but there is NOTHING wrong with asking for help when you need it!! On top of that, if you KNEW you couldn’t raise a child, why put that stress on your mom? Why not give the child to a family who will nature it (don’t know if it’s a boy or girl) and love it and financially support it? Adoption isn’t always closed adoptions, there are some adoptions where families will take care of your child until you get on your feet and you’re granted visitation. She needs to educate herself and I 100% agree with dr. Phil
I'm really shocked at this video. I hope that girls are taught that they can be independent all on their own and we don't 'need' men or 'relationships' to be valid and worthy of respect.

My question is why her mother agreed to raise the baby for her. She could've said "no, I'm done with child-rearing, so you will have to either put up the baby for adoption, or find someone to take care of the child while you're going to school or working."

"Having a baby so young is just so stressful and difficult." I absolutely agree. Thats why we have these neat things called birth control. If you and the father used birth control and still got pregnant, then you get to call it an accident because at least you tried taking precautions. Otherwise its just being careless. holy crap , i was a teen mom at 17 raising an adhd daughter , back then i was by no means prepared but holy hell i grew up that very instant and took responsibility fast forward 8 years and im more than happy , but to all the young girls out there ,, finish school first, get a job and then you can have a baby , take your time by no means is it easy to raise a child and you may think at 15-17 that the baby daddy will stay with you , reality is HE WONT in most cases he will up and leave you .

What's the point of Dr. Phil bullying this teenage girl? How many millions of teenage girls around the world are FORCED into marriage and motherhood at her age? She had a precious child. What would the world look like if we made sure every girl had access to education, birth control, and sexual freedom? Cases like this would be outliers and we could support the child and mother without bullying them for choices they can't take back.

She had only dated that one guy, and she was fresh out of a private school with graduating class of 8 into a school of 4800 students with an average class size of 30. She still raised that baby, graduated in the top 15%, and went on to get her Bachelors. All while raising that baby.

Who would someone do such a thing! You are hurting not only yourself, but your hurting your child and maybe even their futur! This is just wrong and people should not do such a thing! >|
1) I feel this baby should be taken away from her and put of for adoption. Its unfair to your mom to raise her grandchild
2) She admitted she wanted to be on a tv show and trap her boyfriend
3)She's 18 years old now... she needs to grow up...
Listen ladies...we all had crushes as teenagers but Ill be the first one to say this..at 31 I am so glad I am not with anyone from when was a teen....most are dead, in jail or just a low life!
