25 mins turned into 6 hrs for me and I still get a code that says Gen on my dashboard. I went to Oreilly’s and they say my battery is good but it needs a charge, and I could possibly have some bad battery Post and or connections.
Dude that sucks. I know those kind of days, all to well.
Hopefully you get it figured out soon and it doesnt cost to much.

What's the part number of the alternator
Get rid of those bolt on terminal ends and get some solder on one's.
Hey so my truck died on me I have a 98. Got towed had someone vome over to yest battery they jumped it and said the battery tested good a little low on power but not enough die out. He said to get the alternator checked and in assuming I'm going to need a new alternator cause now my truck wont start again. Is there anything else it could be before I go and buy a part and replace it to find out its something else? But the guy said definitely start at the alternator.
pull your alternator off and have it tested. Dodge's can be tricky to diagnose. Had one in the shop last week that the dealership told the gentleman he needed a transmission. Quoted him almost $4500. I fixed it by replacing the alternator. Best bet you can do so is have a qualified shop check it out.

Ok y'all I have never so much have checked my oil let alone anything like this. 40 minute video turned my ass into a mechanic. Not only did I pull out the alternator in my truck but drove my ass to pick n pull and pulled two alternstors off the lot just in case one didnt work came home slapped one of those two bad boys on and ill be damned I fixed my truck for a whopping $42. Thanks for the video!!! Now do one on changing breaks in a Chevy suburban 00' ;)
I'm doing my avalanches brakes in the next week or two.
I just did my dodge last week. You can check it out, it is a very similar system in front. But instead of an Allen wrench it might be a torx head for removing the caliper.
Actually I did the brakes on an 03 chevy traileblazer.

+salvee Luna it could be your battery, alternator, starter or even ignition. You can take your battery to autozone, or advance auto and they will check the battery for you.
