Hub centric wheel spacers are to center both the spacer on the wheel hub and the wheel itself on the spacer. It’s safer. It’s not 100% necessary if you tighten the lugs correctly they should be pretty much center but with the hub centric it’s impossible to mess up.
Depends on if your rotors are going to be powdered or black if black i would do polished spacers if your powder coating the rotors i would powder them.
Rough country scares me. I ran 2 inch spacers on my 6.0 for a year and went to rotate my tires once and 2 studs on the spacer just snapped when retorqueing them. Then about 6 months later 7/8 studs broke off the spacer while driving down the highway. Never buying spacers from then again needless to say
That’s crazy I have had the same set of 2” rough country spacers on my sas for 5 years now on nothing but 40’s and 14&16 wides wheels never had a problem out of mine
@@jcrooks842011 maybe they changed the design, material, or process on how they made them and they’re just not as good anymore? Or maybe I just got a bad batch? Who knows
if you torq down the lugs on anyone of them and you use anti sez or lock tight wd40 anything wet it will over tighten them alot and stretch the studs just a heads up
I’m not sure I don’t think raught is a word so you probably just heard something I said with an accent & it’s an accent to you because I grew up somewhere completely different than you did raised by a completely different group of humans who may speak the English language a hair differently than the way you do. Thanks for watching.
They were rough country spacers. Getting them anodized red is just a option. You can get them not red , and that’s what these were. Purchased from the website I ordered & installed. Lol.
@@JUSTINHAWKSMITH technically yes but most wheels and all aftermarket wheels today are lug centric so a hub centric ring is not really needed in most applications some stock wheels still use a flat seat style lug nut so a hub centric ring is needed for that and only that. But thats very few and far between
@@garykneavel859 that’s good to know I honestly wasn’t sure. One cool thing about bora is they can also custom size the gun centric ring on the spacer to adapt to your aftermarket wheels as well. So then you can have hub centric , with aftermarket wheels. Thought that was pretty cool. But then of course couldn’t run them with stocks. But my aftermarket wheels have same hub bore as oem wheels so definitely wanted hub centric on mine ! Thanks for the info

@@JUSTINHAWKSMITH I would same powder then just to keep it all uniform or polished to match the wheel either or

Those weren't rough country spacers. Rough country spacers are really good and are the colour red.

Is he from Iowa 😂
The hub centric ring is NOT load bearing stop saying things like that jesus christ.
Good to know , so what does it do? Is it just there to perfectly center the wheel ?
