The 2023 Hyundai Stargazer is the newest MPV contender to arrive in the Philippines. In this Filipino car review, we take a look at the mid-spec 2022 Hyundai Stargazer GLS to see what it has to offer. Hyundai Philippines is bringing in 3 variants of the 2023 Hyundai Stargazer, with this mid-spec 2023 Hyundai Stargazer GLS starting at around P1,168,000. The 2022 Hyundai Stargazer sort of looks like a smaller Hyundai Staria, although the front fascia has traces of the Mitsubishi Xpander thrown in. The 2023 Hyundai Stargazer is built in Indonesia, and the Philippines is one of the first countries to get the 2023 Hyundai Stargazer. However, this 2022 Hyundai Stargazer GLS is the true base model of the local Hyundai Stargazer line up, since it has a bunch of features that give it great value. This Hyundai Stargazer GLS can run with the new Honda BRV, and also outperform the Toyota Avanza and the Suzuki Ertiga.

I saw one Stargazer running along the hi-way of Edsa. It looks like an EGG shape. Still I'm convinced the Mitsubishi Expander is the best looking MPV and SUV stance in the market.
This car out of the bunch mpv provides efficient power delivery especially going uphill fully loaded. But for me i would rather get the base innova.

Still Hyundai spare parts are kinda making me doubt in terms of their execution (palit lahat pyesa method) not the specific parts lang nirerepair like toyota executes
may 2015 hyundai eon kami. spare parts was never a problem to us, probably because we live near areas with abundance of spare parts such as banawe. the car is reliable naman pero never pa naipasok sa casa para ipagawa (hyundai shaw blvd). idk about other hyundai models.
That was the problem 20 years ago. But nowadays Hyundai and Kia's parts are everywhere. As they have been on the industry for son long in the Philippines. I have 2012 Elantra. No problems with parts in my experience. Just same with my toyota part's availability.
Hyundai's IVT is not just another CVT.
it's a chain driven type unlike the belt driven ones usually seen on Toyota/Mitsubishi/Nissan/Honda. If the belt fails the whole transmission fails. On the chain driven cvt if one of the chain link fails it's only isolated to that chain.
Still a continuous variable transmission, regardless of type of belt material used.

i drove it, and the power delivery of IVT is closer to AMT than CVT on manual + sport mode. the manual mode is unlike all other CVTs we test drove.
After a year...id say the GL is still ok.
