In my opinion Lacuna Coil is still growing into their style. It shows maturity with consistancy in this album. I agree there aren't that many risks except on certain songs. Overall I love the album, and will continue supporting them.
I think Cristina Scabbia is the most beautiful woman on the face of the earth. She looks great in all her videos but her cuteness really shines through in I Like It.
If there's a more perfectly sculptured woman in the world, I am yet to see her. The fact that she is a metal goddess just gives her another gold sticker.

This, and Cristina Scabbia's collaboration with Apocalyptica (SOS) are powerful songs about women regaining their lives from abusive partners. Great songs!
As someone who loves pop music as much as rock music (or better put, as someone who doesn´t care at all about the genre of a song as long as I like it), I feel kind of sad about the bad reviews this album got from many fans who didn't seem to understand what they were trying to convey with it. For me, listening to this record is what turned a band I simply liked into one of my favourite bands in the world, probably because I love when someone do not take themselves too seriously. I love the irony and the joke they played with this work. I love how they pretended to sell-out by making poppy and catchy tunes, with lyrics about superficiality, but also about being themselves, not losing their essence, pushing their boundaries, etc. and implied that by doing that they were being more authentic and true to themselves than by making the same, dark, gothic type of music they had been doing before, because that is what they wanted to do at the moment and, well, because they liked it! When I listen to the lyrics of this song, I interpret it as a statement, like it is dedicated to all those who complained about them getting more commercial: "So you don't like poppy stuff? Here you have, I am going to do the music I like regardless of what you say or think", and I applaud them for that.
This is proboably the funniest music video I have ever seen, but still with a great seriousness, by showing, accually are not just in a single genre, but just who they are, as everyone is... so everyone can also learn something, or refer to it :3 Thumbs Up Lucana Coil!!

ok this is gonna sound really poetic,but at the end of the video when she finally joins the guys and ferro hands her the mic. its like a butterfly bursting out of the cacoon and a phoenix rising from the ashes all at the same time...ferro really fits next to her too. it took me a while to see the chemistry but i wouldnt have it any other way now.
this is about escaping an abusive relationship. i can relate. good song. kinda annoying that all the comments are about her being hot or the band having a sense of humor. those comments all completely miss the point. this is a really serious song.
Guess what people, my mom is friends with lucuna coil so for my 10th birthday I got to meat them at one of there concerts and I got to go to meat them on there tour bus and no one else got to go on and Cristina gave me a toy and they gave me a cake and sang to me in Italian
