    Mine is now making that noise after I pulled the sensor off. Do you have to replace the throttle body to fix the problem.

    Thank you so much for making this video. Learned a lot while feeling confident I could do it under 3 hours without getting error codes or anything of the sort.
    Changed Spark plugs and coils while I was at it, bike's now running great.
    Thank you again brother, kudos from France.
    (The kawasaki dealership's mechanic told me not to change the throttle body, but after running into the same issue again and again and looking at your video I decided it was worth a shot, boy am I glad I did it)

    Sir , I own a Ninja 300 (2019 ABS model) 10k km ran.
    During the monsoon, my bike was parked outside for a week in the rain and after that I was having low rpm and stalling issues on my bike.
    And the so called Kawasaki technicians of my city cleaned the throttle body in order to fix the issue.
    But after cleaning the throttle body, my bike started 'rough idling'. In order to fix rough idling they did vaccum synchronisation of the throttle body ( they synchronised it correctly but out of standard vaccum range) and changed the calibration of TPS and sub TPS even though the rough idling issue was still there. And now they say that I have to change the whole throttle body as they wont be able to fix the issue....I was not convinced by them as there were no error codes, so disappointed by the Kawasaki service, I decided to fix the bike on my own..(with the help of service manual)
    I was able to set the sub TPS to factory settings..
    And the TPS to standard output voltage settings but now my bike is running lean on standard voltage reading....(& the bike is still idling high as before)
    Can the clogged fuel filter be the possible reason for it or any other issue..? Can u please guide me a little..?
    Thanks for reading this whole msg and for the reply too

      Not sure if the 2019 have an idle adjustment screw if it does I imagine you have already tried turning it down? also did you double check that any of the vacuum hoses are not leaking especially the one that goes to the map sensor?

      @@SUPSGARAGE Sir, it has idle screw and I have tried adjusting it. Checked vaccum hoses and intake manifold for leaks. But still I'll double check it. And other possible causes sir..? Thanks from India .!

      @@shabbiralam4538 so moving the idle screw does nothing at all? all the way out or all the way in?

      @@SUPSGARAGE Sir, the TPS output voltage reading gets influenced by idle screw (but very little)as I have checked it while setting it to 1.3k rpm for TPS calibration..
      But I have not unscrewed the idle screw all the way down or up.

    • @shabbiralam4538
      @shabbiralam4538 10 місяців тому

      And the bike rough idles upto 2k rpm every time I start the bike. And then comes back to 1.3k rpm.

      I believe it's your cold idle adjustment screw but there would be no need to mess with it brother

    What a great video!
    I do have a question for you.
    The right spark plug from my ninja 300 is white (lean running engine) the left one is normal.
    do you think replacing the fuel injectors/throttle body will fix the issue?
    thank you!

    • @SUPSGARAGE
      @SUPSGARAGE  Рік тому +1

      I would see if u can clean the injector first and make sure u don't have any intake leaks on that side

    This is great, i need to clean my fuel injectors, and i have a ABS module, that is making it super difficult to get to the screws on the fuel lane with the fuel injectors in it.. Almost stripped one... Reason is it had old fuel for too long and the injectors are not working properly...

      Try to losen them up from the handle bar side, it might be that it's to tight from that side not letting get enough slack brother.

    Great video brother, thanks. Quick question, I noticed the one you took out had the subthrottle closed but the new one had the subthrottle wide open. Does it matter what position I install mine in? I believe they will adjust automatically but not sure.
