- It's been a stormy winter and we had another small craft warning in force today with a force 6 wind blowing offshore. There was shelter under the cliffs and we managed a short paddle.

What a beautiful looking area. Looks wonderful
This coast is a well kept secret. Scotland wins for islands and wild camping, Ireland has everything else.

Great video David. Looked like to two where having a great time. When you rolled at the end I was thinking clever sod because I can only roll on the left because of my bad right shoulder.
Most have tried it a 100 time and flailed every time lol
One of those magic moments. My shoulder isn't great either, which is why I like the Greenland style, arms close to the chest and use core muscles.
@@davidpoots8362 I will have to give it a go with the Greenland However I think I will wait for summer lol
I love going through those arches and in those caves, but not in those conditions! The life guard at Whiterocks beach warned us about the offshore wind. He probably took one look at our inflatable tandem and thought he would have to rescue us on our way to Islay. It is surprising how much shelter from the wind the cliffs provide.
Yup it's beautiful there. The tandem inflatables have limitations, maybe its time for a 14ft sit in top?
@@davidpoots8362 Yeah, it is a big slow boat to China. 😄But easy to throw in the car and take anywhere. This year I have a full drop stitch kayak for solo adventures.😎
