Yo! Seriously underrated boss theme from the Kirby series, really appreciate seeing it covered. I hope you'll continue to do more Kirby stuff in the future! Oh and thank you so much for the shoutout :)
Bard! Thanks so much, man! I am so happy that you enjoyed this remix, and your feedback means a great deal to me! I knew that you had a penchant for Kirby music (particularly boss themes), and I was really hoping this one in particular would be up your alley! 😁 I definitely want to do several more songs from Kirby games in the future, and I honestly am not sure why I've only covered _two_ in the four years that I've been making remixes. I think a big factor is paralysis of choice, since there are so many gems in each OST, so choosing just one becomes nearly impossible. That said, Triple Deluxe and Air Ride have both been on my mind for quite some time! And of course - it's my pleasure! Thank _you_ for the incredible remix videos you make - the level of polish and detail you put into both the music and visuals is astounding, and it's so impressive that you're able to create such high-quality productions each and every time! Thanks again for taking the time to listen and comment so thoughtfully! 🌟
Thanks so much, Vector!! Hearing such positive and enthusiastic feedback means the world, coming from you. I am so psyched to hear that you enjoyed this one, and I really appreciate your taking the time to comment on it. ^_^ Thanks for mentioning the sound design specifically! That was definitely a major focus here, and I really wanted to make the different foley and synthetic sounds feel like a core part of the mix. Selecting and modifying the different sounds was a big challenge here, and it's heartening to hear that this particular aspect came across well! And thanks for also mentioning the visuals! Kali and I are really happy with how the art and animation turned out, and we're delighted by your remarks regarding the video. Thanks again, man! 💛
I'm a simple man...I see Kirby 64...I _immediately_ click!! And what better than to have an Equalyze remix to go along with an N64 favorite?!?! There's already so little remixes of this game out there that this immediately brought me back to facing Miracle Matter for the first time!! Something I appreciate about Kirby games in general is the super fast paced soundtracks; this sounds to me like it's roughly around 180BPM & your percussion is the perfect blueprint for this style - mixing that with an epic rolling bassline keeps the energy of the boss fight, keeping you on your toes as it replicates various copy abilities!! You absolutely gave life to this soundtrack in your own unique way & that alone is what I find so appealing in VGM remixing; along with Bardometer, I too hope you continue to remix more Kirby music in the future! And to wrap up this comment as I listen to this track for at least the 7th time, Kali has exceeded my expectations with these visuals! 🤩 And last but not least, I can't believe you are literally single digits away from hitting 1,000 subscribers!!! I could not be more proud of you for staying consistent, putting your creative mind out there for the world to hear! I am so excited to be a part of your music production journey - an early congratulations to you my friend, and cheers to the next 1,000!!! 🎉
Man, I really can't thank you enough for taking the time to write such a wonderful comment - thank you so much, Player2!! 🥹 It means the world to know that you get excited for the remixes on this channel, and your enthusiasm for each one always has me smiling from ear to ear! I'm with you right there, regarding Kirby 64 music. The entire OST is a hit, and the battle themes in particular are too good. I'm really hoping that more people in the VGM community will cover themes like Room Guarder (mini-boss), the regular boss theme, and Zero-Two, as well as the myriad of other gems. Your Crystal Shards remixes have been absolutely fantastic, and I can't wait to see more of those from you, as well! I have vivid memories of the first time I faced Miracle Matter, and I distinctly remember thinking that it was literally impossible at first, like you weren't supposed to be able to defeat it. Even after figuring out how to deal damage, it still seemed like a crazy-hard challenge at the time, and the music and design added to the feeling of, "wait, is this still the same game?!" Wow, you have an insane sense of inherent rhythm, because this piece is exactly 180 BPM - that was impressive!! This is the fastest remix I've worked on yet, and the breakneck tempo really made for a fun challenge. I'm so stoked that you liked the percussive and bass elements in particular, and thanks for mentioning them! There were 5 different bass layers here, and some unknowable number of percussive parts, and I definitely went for a "more is more" approach here. More than anything, though, I really wanted each section to sound like the copy ability represented, and different foley and sound effects from Splice - alongside percussive tracks from the deconstructed OST version - really went a long way in helping to create the "rocky", "explosive", "sharp", etc. kinds of sound styles I envisioned! I definitely want to do many more Kirby remixes in the coming years, and Kirby Air Ride is especially high on my list. I'm thrilled to hear that you're interested in hearing more Kirby music on the channel! And wow, thank you for taking such an interest in this one in particular! The fact that you listen multiple times while typing such detailed comments warms my heart more than I can say. 😊 Thanks also for always making note of Kali's artwork! This video was a blast to work on, but it also took a lot out of me. 😅 It may be some months before I'm able to create a visualizer of this level of detail, but I couldn't be happier with how this one turned out, and knowing that you enjoyed the visuals brings Kali and I a great deal of joy! And finally, thank you so, _so_ much for the enthusiastic and heartfelt words of congratulations! It feels surreal to have reached this milestone, and 100% is thanks to you and the other amazing people in this community. Throughout my first 4 years of remixing, I've had quite a few lucky breaks, numerous opportunities to collaborate with some seriously talented artists, and unrelenting support and encouragement from the best community on UA-cam. It's literally making me tear up to know that you're so proud of me, and I will do my very best to remain consistent with monthly uploads, take creative risks, and put forth an ongoing effort to improve and learn a bit each year. I couldn't be more excited to have you share in that journey, and to be a part of yours, as well! Thanks again for everything, my friend! 💛
DS to DS! It's great to see you! Thanks so much for checking out this remix video - I appreciate your taking the time to comment. ^_^ Hehe, I had hoped that the bass elements would come across well here, and I appreciate the specific feedback on that aspect in particular! And thanks also for mentioning the visuals - although it was one of my most time-consuming visualizers yet, I am really happy with the result. 😁 Again, it means a lot that you continually take an interest in and support the videos here. Thank you!!
Thanks so much, SpectroliteDS! I really appreciate your interest in this remix, and that you took the time to comment. ^_^ I'm delighted to hear that you enjoyed the shifts in instrumentation that correlated with the form changes - I was hoping that would be a key aspect of the remix video, and it warms my heart to see it mentioned specifically! Thanks again for the feedback! 🌟
Thanks so much, Ryu!! It means a ton that you take the time to listen and comment, and I'm delighted by your words of enthusiasm! I'm really glad that you felt that the arrangement sounded detailed, and I really appreciate that you kept an ear out for them. Thanks again! ^_^
I like the symbolism here. Basically Queen Ripple is possessed by Zero and she's holding Miracle Matter akin to a creation which shows the connection of Zero and how he controls the hive mind of the Dark Matter creating and using his creations to spread his corruption. Zero probably knew the possibility that Miracle Matter would be defeated so he hid inside the queen to rule Ripple Star from the shadows. Something he presumably succeeds with if you don't get all the shards as Zero cracks a sinister grin while possessing the queen which Ribbon is oblivious to. If you do though and defeat Miracle Matter the crystal fires off a laser expelling Zero from the queen. Zero enraged by this creates the Dark star and moves it to the center of the solar system presumably as an artificial black sun to which he would spread mass corruption across all planets. Kirby though uses a modified starship to enter the core of Dark Star and confront the ghost of Zero now taking the form of an angel akin Lucifer as the real final boss of the game. This marks probably one of the few instances where a ghost of a boss is not fought in a what if alternate reality. And also the only instance where the living and soul form is fought in separate games.
Heyy, Hero of Legend! Thanks so much for watching this remix video, and for taking the time to write such a rich and detailed comment! :D I'm really glad that you enjoyed the storytelling that Kali and I tried to incorporate here. In truth, I don't know a whole lot about Kirby lore, aside from a few infographics I've seen that attempt to break down the interactions and connections between various entities - antagonistic or otherwise - in the series. As you mentioned, the Ripple Star queen's sinister glare at the end of the game (when all Crystal Shards aren't collected) was a really cool detail that hinted at an evil presence lurking within, and Kali and I took that idea to the extreme here, with sort of a "what if?" scenario. ...well, that, and she really wanted to draw a character with facial detail to go along with the rather expressionless Miracle Matter! 😅 Thanks again for your interest in the video, and for your elaborate comment - I really enjoyed reading it! 🌟
HOLY COW Equalyze! You took this track and absolutely ROCKED it out of this world! I did not expect to witness so much heat! 🔥 The percussion is just WILD! There are so many layers of ear candy throughout the entire track! And the fact that every sequence of the battle shifts musically and visually is just BEYOND amazing! I especially love that section at 1:52 where the wubs subtly come in and add juicy layers to the already heated fight! This entire remix is an absolute MASTERPIECE! The visuals throughout the ENTIRE video are just completely MIND BLOWING! And at 2:13 her face instantly gets sinister again right on que, perfection! This entire production is a jaw dropping banger that visually comes to life through Kali's phenomenal art and your extensive zgev automation! I cannot believe how far you've come with visuals. Just when I think you two have achieved the greatest visual display you both continue to top yourselves! I cannot emphasize enough how amazing this production is! I thoroughly enjoyed this entire remix video and this will be in the playlist for a LONG time! Thank you for this masterpiece! And a HUGE congratulations to reaching 1000 subscribers today! :D
Wow, Steel, thank you _so_ much for this wonderfully detailed and enthusiastic comment! I seriously couldn't stop smiling while reading it, and I've been looking forward to having an opportunity to respond at length since then. 😊 I'm thrilled beyond measure to know that this came as a spicy surprise, and thank you for saying so! In truth, I hoped that it would have at least a little bit of a surprise factor, and your reaction to it really makes me feel like I succeeded in that regard! Thank you for mentioning the percussive elements in particular! That's the aspect of the music that I put the most time and effort into, so it's heartening to hear that the drums and percussion came across as a strong point here. I got a _lot_ of help from Splice samples here, with a few top loops, as well, and it helped me to learn about timestretching, clip fading, and other adjustment techniques in FL Studio. I also utilized quite a few of the original percussive sounds, and the deconstruction video linked in the description was instrumental in being able to access those isolated drum and percussion tracks (like the record scratch at 0:16 - I love that one!) Ah man, I'm psyched that you liked that segment at 1:52, and honestly, your technique and sound style was a direct inspiration for that. Each of the segments changes after 8 measures, but I wanted that "final phase" section to last longer, since, well... I really liked how it sounded! 😁 But in the latter 8 measures, I wanted to add some additional elements to ramp up the chaos, to create a feeling of when a boss is on the verge of exploding/falling apart/devolving into complete madness/etc. and the bass growls and squelches felt like a great way to do that, alongside the orchestral hits. For that segment, I used four different dubstep-styled growls/squelches/screeches and chopped the clips up into rhythmic sequences - it was a bit painstaking, as I'm not used to working with such hardcore, unwieldy sounds, but I'm really happy with how it turned out, and again, your specific mention of it really made my day! It means a tremendous amount that you always take the time to remark on the visuals specifically, and Kali and I are both beyond grateful for your kind words regarding the art and animation! This one definitely took a lot out of me, in truth, so I'll need to get my feet under me before I'm able to create a visualizer with this level of detail and automation again. 😅 But it felt completely worthwhile in the end, because I'm very proud of the result, and you and everyone else that's commented have written such complimentary and encouraging feedback on the visuals! I'm stoked that you liked that change in the Ripple Star queen's expression at the very end, and I thought it'd be a fun way to sync up the visuals one last time and go out with a bang, while also referencing that sinister lens glare that she has when you defeat Miracle Matter without getting every Crystal Shard. I wouldn't have been able to create a project with this many automations a couple of years ago, but learning efficiency-granting techniques over the years has been huge for me - things like slicing through multiple clips to create synced automation effects, using the "make unique" function to create pattern-breaking automation curves, and scaling automation points in a clip up or down by a certain number of percentage points - every little bit has helped! It means more than I can put into words that you enjoyed how the music and visuals shifted throughout the remix to correlate with each form, and I appreciate your mention of that aspect! Thank you so much for the congratulatory words!! It feels surreal, honestly, to have hit a milestone that felt out of reach for so long. I've had a lot of lucky breaks along the way, and the unrelenting encouragement from you and many others in the VGM community has kept me constantly motivated to keep consistent with releases, and to keep pursuing my goal of gradual, sustained improvement. Your support means the world, and I am so grateful to have met you. Thanks for everything! 💛
🐻❄️ Bro OMG!! Each of your remixes keep getting _better and better_!! Love the beat in this so freaking much!! So many different elements, buildup and drops! Dude you're become a master of dubstep, drumstep, everything high energy dnb!!! And what an ending!! I love the anime art style so much here!! Kali's art is amazing here! I had no idea that there were anime style characters in the game! And the expressions on the character and the shards so good! And I love how you always support vgm artists and introduce all of us to new artists! Exceptional production Equalyze!!❤❤❤
Thank you, Hanabi!! 🥹 Your comments are always such a joy to read, and I can't help but smile from start to finish when reading them. I hugely appreciate that you always listen with such intent, and that you take the time to comment at length. It is heartening beyond measure to hear that you feel there's been continual improvement with each remix - thank you!! I always want to improve over time and try new approaches, as well. Being able to work with so many folks in the VGM community and even be a part of big projects - like the Megamixes and AvoCado's Booster Tracks - alongside you and the others has really helped me to see different techniques and extend my comfort zone! And it's humbling to hear you say that I've become so proficient in those different genres, as I really love these high-energy percussive styles, and they're just so much fun to work in. Thanks for your remarks on the ending, also - I wasn't sure how to end this song at first, but when Kali and I were planning the video, the concept of "calm after the storm... or is it?" really helped to guide that build up to the final orchestral hit! Thank you also for your praise regarding Kali's artwork! To be honest, there aren't actually anime-styled characters - they're the polygon renders that were popular during the N64 era, but Kali, being a big fan of anime and that illustrative style, took it upon herself to redesign the Ripple Star queen to look more like an anime antagonist. We're both really happy with the result, and I think it adds an awesome dynamic to the video, in truth. 😁 It means more than I can say that you always go out of your way to support the artists that are featured each month. Seriously, thank you so much for that! I always think of you as a central person in the VGM community, who creates and facilitates opportunities for artists to discover and appreciate one another, and it's an honor to pursue that goal alongside you! Much love, my friend! 💛
Let's gooo I love this battle and the theme is underrated. The way you remixed it and the instruments used almost sounds like a Pokémon battle theme to me, I could imagine this for the Elite Four or a legendary Pokémon fight
Ah man, thanks so much, FlameCheese!! I'm psyched to hear that you're also a big fan of Miracle Matter's theme, and that you enjoyed this remix to such an extent. 😁 I agree that among Kirby music, it seems to be less popular than the widely-known ones that have received remix treatment by Nintendo itself. I'm glad, though, that there are a good number of people who really love this theme, because it's so unique and unexpectedly intense. It's awesome to hear that you felt this had a Pokemon battle sort of feel to it, and I take that as a huge compliment! With Miracle Matter taking on different Copy ability forms, it might draw parallels to how Pokemon music could change throughout a battle to be Type-themed, based on the opponent's type - I'd love to see that in future games, honestly, as dynamic music is one of my favorite things to see in a game. Tangents aside, though, I'm pumped that you felt it had the weight and gravity of a Legendary Pokemon battle, even! I really can't express my gratitude in words alone, how much it means that you always take the time to listen and comment so thoughtfully. Thanks again, my friend! 💛
This is fire, I love the energy! Seriosly, I love the production on this one and it might be my favourite remix of yours! I especially love the bass and the percussions. Everything is so clean! And of course, the visuals are stunning too! Major props to you and Kali!
Ah man, thanks so much DarlingJack! I am delighted to hear that you enjoyed this one, and that it ranks among your favorites of mine, even! ^_^ Thanks for mentioning the bass and percussive elements specifically! Those two aspects definitely were the most time- and effort-intensive to work on, but I'm really happy with how they turned out. The bass consists of 6 different layers, and figuring out how to EQ them, automate their volume, and arrange the notes so they wouldn't clash was definitely a challenge, but your feedback makes me feel like I was successful in that regard - thank you! And likewise, there was a lot going on with the drums and percussion, too, so I tried to focus on making sure that each percussive part could be heard, however subtle. I tried to keep some percussive instruments intact and present throughout most of the arrangement, to preserve some continuity, and that was definitely tricky, as well. Honestly, this was the toughest song to work on yet, in terms of mixing, so hearing that you felt it was clean, in spite of how dense and chaotic everything is, is _huge_ feedback for me! :D I appreciate that you always take the time to mention the visuals specifically, as well! Kali and I are always heartwarmed by your comment on the art and animation, and for your continued encouragement and enthusiasm. Thank you again! 💛
Heyy, Cyb3r_N1nja - it's great to see you, man! Thank you so much for listening to this remix, and for your enthusiastic and energetic comment! This track is one of my favorites in the entire series, and I'm psyched to know that this month's selection ended up being a favorite of yours, as well! Seriously, thank you so much for the continued support and encouragement - it means a tremendous amount! ^_^
Hey Equalyze! Another gois you tore everything! I love these orchestral hits, it's one of my favorite sounds, perfect for epic music like boss themes. Really Kirby's music is so underrated. And listening to you remix this music is just perfect! My favorite moment is at 1:20 I really like this "crystal-like" sound (probably bells), it goes very well with the theme of the game. Moreover, it strangely reminds me of Pokémon. Then I really enjoyed the fire crackling sound, as if the boss fight was raging! But you didn't stop there! You put fire effect on your video :D. As always, your visuals are top notch! Really, keep it up, I'm waiting for each of your remixes ^^
Thank you very much, Guimu!! I'm thrilled to hear that you enjoyed the remix so much, and I really appreciate your taking the time to comment with such detail and care, as always. :D Orchestral hits have really grown on me over the years, and I never used to use them because they always felt like such a tough and unwieldy sound to use. One thing that I've personally found to be helpful when using them is to use layers to create a more robust and dense sound. This might not be the best advice, but I've been happy with the results so far! For these orchestral hits, I used a combination of three different sounds: "Mortal Kombat 3" from Harmless, "Sforzando" from the General Midi library in FLEX, and the original orchestral hit sample from the game, which I was able to obtain from the linked deconstructed video. It was tricky to balance their velocities and volumes, but eventually I found a combination that clicked! 😁 Thanks for commenting on that element specifically! I know that Kirby music often gets a lot of love (and rightfully so), but I agree that Miracle Matter doesn't seem to be a widely popular theme. For people that have played the game, it definitely is a fan favorite, but the themes of Meta Knight, King Dedede, and other bosses seem to be universally enjoyed. I'm so happy that you like this remix, though! ^_^ Thanks for mentioning that bell sound at 1:20, and I'm psyched that you enjoyed it in particular! The crystalline sound that gets added in there is one of my favorites, "Dream Pack" from the Saif Sameer Synthwave library in FLEX. I use it in a lot of remixes, and it has adjustable parameters, so its sound can really be fine-tuned to create a variety of tones. And I know what you mean about it sounding a bit reminiscent of Pokemon! Also, thank you for your mention of the crackling fire sound - that one was a sample of wood fire crackling which I downloaded from Splice, then EQ'd out most of the low end. That one was a lucky find! 🔥 Hehe, I'm glad that you liked the fire visual effect, as well! The effect on Miracle Matter was a combination of red- and black-colored "Fog Machine" layers in the ZGEV, and the flames at the bottom of the screen used a GIF with the YouLean Bloom effect applied. Thank you for always taking the time to mention the visuals specifically, and it means the world to know that you enjoy and appreciate them! It fills me with joy to know that you look forward to each new remix, and likewise, my friend! Thank you for your unrelenting support and encouragement! 💛
PS it sounds like you sampled the first note of the industrial drums in mining melancholy in the like 30-35 second range! Ha even if that isn't those drums, they sound similar! ;)
Man, I really appreciate that you're always pulling for me - thanks so much, Theølogy!! I actually did hit 1,000 subscribers a couple of days ago, and it was incredibly exciting to have reached that milestone! ^_^ People have been nothing short of incredible with their support, and your encouragement and support have been so motivating and uplifting every step of the way! 💛
@@TheologyVGM Ah man, I'm psyched that you enjoyed that sound in particular! There's a little anecdote about that sound, actually, that I want to share... When working on the Terapagos Battle remix, I wanted a metallic hit one-shot that sounded just like the one in "Let the Battles Begin" from Final Fantasy VII, and after sifting through hundreds of samples in Splice using every combination of search terms and parameters I could think of, I still just couldn't quite find the thing I was looking for. I was on the verge of checking if that sound was available in a soundfont pack, when I decided to check FL Studio's modest library of percussive one-shots. There was one entitled "metallic hit", and right when the preview played, it was like BINGO - that's the one! It became an instant favorite, and I definitely plan to use it in future remixes for a bit of industrial flair! I can hear the resemblance with Mining Melancholy, though, and I love that a song that's special to you came to mind in this instance. Thanks for mentioning that little detail specifically! :D
Hey, RHEEEEEEE, it's good to see you again! Thanks so much for taking an interest in this remix, and for the encouraging remarks. I'm glad you liked it! Because most of my remixes are typically planned out well in advance, and because a good number of them tend to be collaborations, it's really difficult for me to cover requests. I still enjoy and appreciate hearing them, though! Thank you again for your enthusiastic comments! :D
CoolDanch! Thanks so much, man!! I'm psyched to hear such positive and enthusiastic remarks, and I appreciate your taking the time to listen and comment. I was really hoping that this remix came across as intense, and your feedback makes me feel like I hit the mark there. 😁 Thanks again!
OKAY THIS IS DEFINITELY MY FAVORITE MIRACLE MATTER REMIX. I loved the beginning of the remix, but then you added the dubstep-ish drums and this remix went from 100/10 to 1000/10. The rest of the persecussion really makes the song sound so much better, and I love the addition of the schimes!
Woah, thank you so much, Marisol!! I really can't put into words how much your enthusiastic and glowing review of this remix means to me. I knew that you were a fan of Kirby music in particular, and it's incredibly heartening to hear such praise from someone who has listened to countless VGM remixes. 😊 It's seriously humbling to see you rate this remix so highly, and I'm thrilled that you enjoyed it from start to finish - especially in the ending segment. That's my favorite part of the remix, and it was an idea I had, to have things get kind of chaotic and extra intense as Miracle Matter goes out with a bang. Reading your remarks on that part and particular - and specifically the percussive elements - brings a big smile to my face. And I'm psyched that you liked the chimes there, too! Tubular bells are one of my favorite instruments to add an extra bit of solemnity and weight to the instrumentation (or holiday cheer, in some cases XD). Thank you for continually supporting the remixes on this channel, and again, for taking the time to comment! 🌟
My gosh, I don't know how you keep doing this, but once again, I'M BLOWN AWAY. WOW. Where do I begin!? This is another masterpiece of a remix! Definitely the best remix of this song I've ever heard! Drum and Bass is one of my favorite genres, especially in VGM remixes, and this was the perfect choice of genre for this high energy boss battle theme! Indeed, Kirby games are known for their cute art style, bubbly music... and then, an EPIC FINAL BASS BATTLE that catches you completely off guard! Wow, you nailed that feeling perfectly here. Love all the different drum patterns, complex percussion, epic melodies... and wow, even a dubstep bassline! Amazing work! 👍😃
Glitchman, thank you _so_ much for the wonderfully detailed and enthusiastic comment! Reading your feedback always fills me with joy, and I'm constantly amazed and touched by your generosity, taking the time to listen and comment at length! It's encouraging beyond measure to hear that you feel I'm able to have this kind of impact with each remix, and thank you so much for saying that! I can't attribute this progress solely to experience and learning, because I've gained access to more sound libraries, percussive samples, and effect plugins over time, and the instruments, synths, and percussive elements are really where the rubber meets the road, so to speak - I definitely had Splice on speed dial here! That said, I'm flattered and grateful to hear that the time and effort spent on each project have really been paying off! ^_^ Wow, that is seriously high praise to hear that this remix ranks so high for you, especially given that this track has been covered a surprising number of times over the years - thank you for that! It had been awhile since I worked with DnB-styled rhythms, and I was hoping that this one in particular would be right up your alley - I'm delighted that it was! 😁 The piece lends itself well to a multi-genre approach, I feel, due to how wild and eclectic it is, so it was the perfect opportunity to incorporate different styles; this was something I really enjoyed throughout the process in particular! And I'm psyched that you enjoyed that dubstep-styled segment at the end - I really wanted that to be the chaotic climax of the song, and I'm thrilled that it's gone over so well! Using squelches, growls, and screeches in the Darknut remix gave me the confidence to try them again here, and I look forward to utilizing some of those more raw sounds in future remixes, too! And yes, you put it perfectly - it's crazy, yet characteristic, that so many Kirby games are like that. Even the cutesy themes still tend to be high-BPM, high-energy tracks, and major props go to the series' composers for creating and maintaining such a unique and instantly recognizable style! Selecting this track was an ordeal in itself, because honestly, the entire OST of Crystal Shards is a masterpiece! Thank you again for always listening and commenting with such enthusiasm and care - until next time, my friend! 💛
Somebody stop this man xD you've really become a master of your sound regarding DnB glitch electronic type music. Hard to put a name on it because you've really crafted your own sound and it's just amazing. You cover VGM but you always make it your own. I think thats so important. It would be crazy if you made your own soundtrack for a game one day! That would blow my mind. Please keep cooking! 🙏🙏
Haha, you're too kind, Kibatsu! Thank you so much for taking the time to listen and write such a thoughtful and detailed comment, man - it means a tremendous amount! I'm very humbled to receive such praise, especially coming from you, and it's heartening to hear that you feel I've improved to such an extent - thank you! 🥹 One thing I really love about remixing VGM, besides everything ever, is that it provides the opportunity to try all sorts of genres, and over the past couple of years, I have really tried to utilize that opportunity more than I did when I first started. Honestly, it's just a ton of fun, working with a variety of sound styles, and I always hope that people will be (pleasantly) surprised by the different musical genres and approaches on the channel. 😁 Yet, I'm thrilled to hear that you say that you feel I always add a personal and characteristic touch to the music. Thanks for that! :) I feel that it's always important to make meaningful changes to the arrangement, instrumentation, rhythms, and other factors, while keeping the main melody - and often overall feeling - intact. Again, your kind words regarding the style are much appreciated! Wow, it's so flattering to hear that you'd even enjoy hearing an original soundtrack from me one day - thank you so much!! At some points, I have thought about doing an original song, but every time, I always default back to creating VGM remixes. Composition is a skill I don't really feel proficient in - at least not yet - and I much prefer to arrange existing songs, rather than write new ones. I have huge admiration and respect for people who can write original songs that are compelling, catchy, and/or professional-sounding, like how you've done multiple times - it's so awesome that you're able to do that! I definitely plan to remix non-VGM songs at some point, but a full original song would be a longshot, admittedly. Thanks for your interest in that, though! Again, I really appreciate your encouraging and heartfelt comment, and I'm looking forward to any new videos you might have on the horizon. Until next time! 💛
@@Equalyze Thanks for the reply and for the amazing words of support and inspiration! I agree that as a musician you shouldn't ever feel the need to box yourself into a specific sound or style. We're human after all and we all love many types of music. It's a challenging thing creating your unique sound and brand while also growing as a person and trying new things without alienating your following. It's hard bro lol And you're a master at remixes which means you have an amazing ear for melody and finding out chords and understanding the arrangements. If hesitation or fear about composing is what holds you back please don't let it! Just wanted to say that. But please keep producing it inspires me to make more covers as well (one coming out from me in a few days). Awesome chatting. Thanks! 🎸♥
Thanks so much for listening, and for taking the time to comment, Khánh Nguyễn Thái Gia! I really appreciate the kind words, and I'm delighted to hear that you enjoyed it. :D And thank you again for sharing this video on your channel! 🙂
Wow, thank you so much, TIGERISH 2.0! That is some seriously high praise, and I'm delighted to hear that you enjoyed the remix so much. This really made my day! :D
Thanks so much, Starbolt! I really appreciate your taking the time to watch and comment. :D And I'm delighted to hear that you enjoyed the changes in musical style for each phase - that's an idea I had wanted to implement for awhile, and it means lot to see it so well-received. Thanks again for the kind feedback! 🌟
@@Big_Bonfire That really means a lot to hear! 😊 I definitely intend to keep going with this for as long as I'm able to, which I hope is a very long time. Thanks again for your comments!
Awesome job on this! I’m not super familiar with this game but I listened to the original theme and your remix sounds a more polished version of the original! Great stuff man! Hey also congrats on passing 1,000 subs!! 🔥🔥
Sculpted Nostalgia, thank you so much!! I really appreciate your taking the time to listen and comment so thoughtfully on this remix - and especially not being familiar with the original. The fact that you took the time to listen to the OST version for context means a great deal, and I am flattered beyond measure to hear that you feel it's an upgrade, even! And thank you very much for the congratulatory words! It feels unreal to have reached such a milestone, and I'm incredibly fortunate to have received so much support along the way. Your constant encouragement and unrelenting enthusiasm have been hugely motivating for me, and I can't express in words alone how much it means that you've been cheering me on throughout the years. Thanks again, my friend! 💛
Hey, Chocolate Chip Studios! Thanks so much for taking an interest in this remix, and for the thoughtful comment - it really means a lot! 😊 I'm touched to hear that you say that both the music and visuals feel like a lot of care and effort was put into them, and thanks so much for saying so! It's important to me to put everything that I can into each remix video, and I always take a great deal of pride in each project. I love when others do the same, and it's always heartwarming when people have a passionate and invested attitude towards creations, whether its their own or someone else's! It's clear that you really go all-in with your videos, too, and your enthusiasm is contagious! I also wanted to thank you for using my remix in your Top 5 video game video and mentioning this channel in the description - it was awesome to receive a notification for the @mention, and I'm flattered that you felt the music would go well in your video! Thanks again for the kind and encouraging words! :D
im actually speechless this sounds absolutely glorious and a lot better than the original in my opinion, also i dont know if im going crazy or does this part sound like the galacta knight theme? 0:05 huge props on going the dnb/breakcore route (from what i can hear) that style is hard to do and you did it justice with the mixing!
Thank you, Fabian!! Man, your comments are always such a joy to read, and I really appreciate your taking the time to listen so attentively and comment with specific details. ^_^ The original is such a fantastic piece, so to hear you say that there are improvements here, even, is _massive_ praise. I actually didn't reference any other tracks in this remix, but it's possible that something in the instrumentation or arrangement sounds reminiscent of Galacta Knight's battle theme (which, by the way, is _so_ dang good), so if that's the case, then it's merely a happy coincidence. 😁 It's hugely encouraging to hear that you felt the DnB & breakcore styles were executed well here, and thanks for saying so! This is the highest BPM song I've done yet, and breakcore isn't a genre I've worked with before, so I'm thrilled to receive such positive feedback in that regard! And this was definitely the most challenging song I've worked on so far, in terms of mixing, so I appreciate your remarks regarding that aspect, as well! Thanks again for the kind feedback, my friend! 🌟
Wow, thanks so much, Der eine kölner!! This comment really made my day! It's very high praise to see this remix being described as a masterpiece, and I am really happy to know that you enjoyed it. ^_^
Rukunetsu! Thanks so much, man!! That's very high praise, coming from you, to hear such positive feedback regarding both the music and visuals. I'm thrilled that you enjoyed this one so much! Your artwork, music, and video editing are always an inspiration, and the way you encourage others and facilitate opportunities for people to connect and grow is just straight-up awesome. I'll definitely keep at this for as long as I'm able to! Thanks again! 😄
Holy man this goes insanely hard!!! You really nailed the intensity and action from the original and that percussion is to die for!! This in my opinion is your best remix yet. Everything is just so rich in character and range and everything comes together so well! I don't know where to start! AAA! And Kali's art for the Fairy Queen is so insanely beautiful! Massive props to both of you and eagerly anticipating the next banger!
Thanks so much, Danny!! Man, I really can't express in words alone how much of a joy it is to read your comments, and I'm delighted that you enjoyed this remix to such an extent! Your feedback means a great deal to me, so hearing that you feel it's my best one yet carries immense weight - thank you! It's a rare compliment to hear that a remix of mine goes so hard, and I'm just so psyched that it carried the level of intensity I hoped it would. And I really appreciate your specific mention of the percussive elements! I had a lot of help from samples sourced from Splice for this project, and this remix also utilizes several of the original drum and percussion tracks - credit goes to perfectdisharmony for deconstructing the theme into its separate channels. I had a lot of fun working on different rhythms and the drums and percussion in particular really kept me motivated, even when I hit roadblocks and rough patches along the way. The way you described the remix, as being so rich in character in range, is exactly the kind of feedback I had hoped to receive, and it makes me so happy to know that you felt all the different elements came together well in the end. Although I wanted there to be a lot of variety within this remix, I also wanted to make sure that the overall sound had a degree of continuity and coherence, and that goal feels realized, reading what you've taken the time to write! Thanks also for your kind mention of Kali's artwork! Originally, we were just going to have Miracle Matter cycle through its different forms, with effects for each, but she felt that the video needed something more tangible and human. So we were looking up characters from the game that felt like they might tie in well to the event, and we were reminded of how the Ripple Star/Fairy Queen had that sinister lens glare in the incomplete ending, where it's later revealed that she had the Dark Matter inside of her. We thought it would be cool to have her take on the role of "puppeteer" here, and since Miracle Matter is the boss of Ripple Star, it seemed like a perfect fit! In any case, we're both delighted that you enjoyed the artwork! It's so encouraging to know that you look forward to each new remix, and the very same to you, my friend! I loved your contribution to the Harmony of Hyrule project, and I was pleasantly surprised to see a remix from The Cheetahmen - talk about a deep cut! Thanks for always listening and taking the time and effort to write such thoughtful comments! 💛
Had to watch it twice back to back it was so awesome! Love the addition of conversation. Also super loved how the sound seemed to change with each element form to match it. Very noticeable when the ice form and fire forms appears. This was an incredibly stunning visual and genius idea!
Wow, thank you so much, Ryith! It seriously means so much to hear that you enjoyed this remix to such an extent, and your detailed feedback has me smiling from ear-to-ear. 😊 I'm delighted that you enjoyed the addition of dialogue in the video! I really enjoy adding text to the visuals, and I generally try to stay close to the script for games that have dialogue associated with scenes in which the music plays. However, since Kirby 64 has no exchange of words between characters (at least, to my knowledge), I had to take some creative liberties here. I tried to think of how the Ripple Star Queen might speak while under the influence of the Dark Matter, without going too overboard. I always worry a bit if these non-canon additions will be a turn-off to people, but again, I'm very happy that you enjoyed this particular aspect, and thanks for saying so! Ah, I'm psyched that you mentioned the correlation between the instrumentation and visuals, as well! I love when games have dynamic music, and I thought it would be fun to have the sound style match each of Miracle Matter's forms here. It was a bit tricky, because I wanted the maintain a degree of continuity throughout, while having each section feel unique and thematic. It's awesome to hear that this approach came across as I had hoped - thank you! ^_^ Again, it makes me so happy to see these ideas so well-received, and your mention of these aspects that I put a lot of care into means a tremendous amount. Thank you!!
Hey, Super Matt Boy! Thanks so much for listening, and for the kind feedback! I really appreciate your interest in this remix. 😊 Kirby games are known for being disarmingly cute at the start, then having some seriously dark and heavy events unfold as the game progresses - the secret bosses in particular tend to be terrifying (and terrifyingly difficult)! Yoshi's Island is a great example of that dichotomy, and I hadn't heard of Plok until you mentioned it, but woah, after checking out the boss theme, I can see what you mean! 😮 Thanks again for taking the time to comment, my friend - it means a lot! 💛
Heyy, thanks so much, Cats_have7lives! That is seriously high praise, to hear that this remix ranks so highly for you. And it means a lot to hear that you felt it was a creative take - I love when games have dynamic music, and I wanted to have the instrumentals correlate with Miracle Matter's different forms, which ended up making the project extra challenging, but also extra fun. Also, talk about high-effort... I just watched your Deoxys Encounter remix video, and I was sincerely blown away by the production in both the music and visuals. You've really inspired me with a level of video editing that eclipses anything I've yet seen in the VGM community, and I hope that anyone who reads this comment reply heads right over to your channel! Thanks again for taking an interest in the video, and for the encouraging feedback! :D
@@Equalyze gosh who is praising who at this point! thank you so much, you're so kind for this, I hope to see more of whatever you decide to make in the future, I will keep an 👁 out!
@@Cats_have7lives Thanks so much, man - that really means a lot! And I'm tickled that you referenced the ending message, as well. 😁 Likewise, I'll be looking forward to your future videos, as well!
Thanks so much, Aiden! I'm glad you liked this one, and I really appreciate the enthusiastic feedback. ^_^ Also, I listened to the music on your channel, and wow, is it impressive! The Haldera Volcano remix is brilliant (love the 6/8 time arrangement), and I was wowed by how polished the 49-track mashup is. You've got serious potential, and I hope you continue to make music!
Orchestral hits! Love it so much! I never dared to use those myself, but I must say they fit like a glove in this remix! That gentle lead that enters at 1:08 sounds so good, no doubt my favourite part of this one! The art and video edit is so good, your best so far. Kali is really getting good! Man you should have made this longer xD It's so good! I just felt I wanna make an extension to it myself xD Very inspiring! Great mixing and balance of the instrumentation. All instruments play very well together, and that snare drum really gives the remix an extra touch, crystal clear and just enough treble to stand out from the rest. This is a hit! Last but not least (at all), CONGRATULATIONS ON 1K SUBS! I'm surprised this milestone didn't come sooner, but better late than never! You deserve it so much! Keep going and you're gonna hit 10k in no time :D See ya Eq!
Thank you, Neon X!! Man it is such a joy to read and respond to you comments, and I really appreciate that you've taken the time to listen and comment in-depth on this remix, especially considering all you've got going on, both in life and on UA-cam - it means a great deal! I'm psyched that you enjoyed the orchestral hits in particular, and thanks for your specific remarks regarding them! Honestly, I really love using orchestral hits, despite them being so unwieldy, so I always relish any opportunity to include them in a remix. Honestly, I think they would go great in a lot of your remixes - maybe even a more synthetic variant like the Yamaha one used in a lot of Konami games for SNES. With your penchant for neo-retro music and your honed production skills, I have no doubt you'd be able to make fantastic use of orchestral hits! Oh wow, I'm delighted to hear that the layered sawtooth lead in the middle section was a favorite of yours - thank you! And your feedback on the instrumentation is a huge deal, seriously. This was one of my most involved and dense remixes yet, in terms of instruments and percussive elements, so to hear that it felt well-balanced is very encouraging! And I'm glad you liked the snares used here - there was a lot of layering in the drums, and it's awesome to hear that the snares had just the right amount of punch! Kali and I really appreciate your commentary on the visualizer, and the fact that you always mention the visuals specifically means a lot! This is definitely up there as a contender for most time spent on a video, and your feedback makes our efforts feel realized. It's exciting to know that you felt like it could have been extended, even! 😁I feel like we might have run out of ideas at that point, but who knows? And thank you, from the depths of my heart, for your kind and enthusiastic words of congratulations! Even weeks later, it still feels exciting, and I hope that feeling lasts for a long time, because I never want to take for granted the unrelenting support and encouragement I've received from you and all these other amazing folks in the VGM remix community. I often say this, and I always mean it: I'm a very lucky man to be able to remix VGM as a hobby, and even moreso to be able to share this creative passion with my beloved wife. I'm really living the dream! My sincere apologies that it's taken this long to respond to your wonderfully detailed comment, and I've been wanting to comment on your latest Mega Man remixes, as well. Unfortunately, I broke my shoulder recently, so everything on the computer has been a lot tougher. It's been a struggle just to keep up with everything, but I'm hoping to have more time "unlocked" once this heals a bit more. 😅 Thank you for being both an inspiration and a friend, Neon X - I'm grateful to have met you, and I look forward to sharing in this endeavor with you for many years to come! 💛
Woah, thank you so much, Under Ray! That is _huge_ praise, to hear that this remix fits such a selective criterion - thank you so much! ^_^ I knew from the start that this would be a difficult song to remix, and I really wanted to approach it with the mentality that I needed to go all-out and take my time selecting instrumentation and working out rhythms, as well as the overall song flow. I feel like Miracle Matter is a theme that's rather unforgiving, so to see you say that this turned out so well means a great deal to me! Thanks again for taking an interest in this remix, and for the encouraging feedback! 🌟
Thanks so much, Pragles! I really appreciate your taking an interest in the video, and it's exciting to hear that the video came across as cinematic, even - what a compliment! ^_^
You did it again EQ! Stunning visuals, banger track = awesome monthly experience! But fr though, I really love the percussion here, did you make every single bit of it yourself? Either way, it adds quite the bit to this awesome remix! I think I've listened to it daily since it's release, and it gets better for each time AHAHAH!! And also dude, congrats so much on 1k!! I suppose my days of having more subs than you will come to an end real soon lmao, you really deserve it though!! Looking at how much people adore you, I feel like your sub count is gonna grow exponentially from now on ahaha!! Keep bringing bangers, Equalyze 🤩
Avo!! 😄 Man, thank you so much for this wonderfully encouraging comment! I am thrilled beyond measure to hear that you enjoyed this remix to such an extent - even watching it daily since its release?... Wow, I am sincerely flattered! It means a great deal to hear that you feel there are new details to be discovered with each listen, and thanks so much for saying so! One of my major goals with each remix is to create something - both visually and musically - that (I hope) warrants multiple views/listens. I always want the remix to have a strong replayability factor, so to speak, just like a video game that you can always find yourself coming back to... so your remarks regarding that aspect of the remix make me feel like I really hit the mark there! ^_^ Thanks for mentioning the percussive elements specifically! The bulk of the work went into that domain, and I really wanted the drums, percussion, and percussive sound effects to be feature elements in the remix, so I'm stoked that you mentioned and asked about them! To be transparent, there are quite a few percussive parts that I didn't make myself. I used a few top loops to add extra rhythmic texture and drive, with a bit of clip slicing and processing to adapt them to the other drums. Additionally, I incorporated some of the original drum and percussion tracks from the OST version of Miracle Matter - I was able to access the isolated tracks thanks to Perfectdisharmony's deconstruction video, and seeing the tracks separated out helped me to also get a better understanding of the song, which was super helpful, since I really would have struggled to wrap my head around such a dense and chaotic piece! The sound effects were sourced from Splice, and I tried to look for real foley sounds that resembled each of Miracle Matter's forms, like a drill whirring, crackling fire, bottle rockets, sword clashing, and live wires. It was a major challenge, trying to get it all to come together, but I learned a lot in the process, and I'm super happy with how that aspect turned out! I really can't thank you enough for being so encouraging and supportive over the years. You're as solid as they come, and it's been a sincere joy to be a part of your musical journey, too. And I love that our collaborations have been a yearly recurring thing, too! I think big things await all of us in the VGM remix community, and it's so awesome to see it all converging, as you and various other people bring together lots of artists with creative endeavors like the Booster Tracks medley, themed Megamixes, #InVGMWeTrust, and all the other community projects. Thanks for everything, my friend!! 💛
Woah, the beat on this one goes extremely hard, I love the intensity and epicness and most of all the catchy rhythm of this. Amazing job as always Equalyze your improvement knows no limits.
Thanks so much, Shunban! Hearing that you enjoyed this one and felt that it had a degree of intensity makes me really happy to hear! I was hoping that this remix would have more of an "in-your-face" factor, and hearing your feedback regarding that aspect is very encouraging! Thanks also for mentioning the different rhythms! I'm really proud of how those turned out, and it's awesome to see that they've gone over well. :) And I really am heartwarmed to know that you feel my improvement has been continuous - that's been my goal from the start, and I'll keep working to improve and learn each year! Again, I appreciate your taking the time to listen and write such thoughtful feedback! I'll see you soon, man! 🌟
Thank you, Lodac! I really appreciate your taking the time to listen and comment, and your enthusiastic feedback made my day to read! I'm psyched to hear that you enjoyed the dynamic nature of the music here. That was an idea that emerged relatively late in the process, but I'm really glad that I ended up going through with it, and it definitely makes me want to take a similar approach with themes where the boss/stage/etc. changes form throughout the battle. This one was a lot of fun to work on, and I'm very happy that it's been well-received so far. Thanks again for the kind comment! :D
Hey, thanks so much, Zigzag! I really appreciate the kind words, and I'm psyched to hear that you enjoyed the corresponding visuals in particular! Currently, I have a laundry list of tracks that I want to cover, and while I'm eager to do another Kirby remix, it may be quite some time before I get back to this series. I wish there was more time to work on music! 🥲 Zero-Two and Zero are great suggestions, though, and I appreciate your mentioning them. Thanks again for listening, and for taking the time to comment! :)
Haha! Thanks so much, Mars! :D I really appreciate your taking the time to watch and comment, and my partner Kali and I are delighted to see such enthusiastic remarks regarding the artwork. Kali really wanted to bring out the sinister side of the Ripple Star queen here, and it was fun to imagine her as the one pulling the strings of Miracle Matter!😼
@@KL53986 Hey, Galaxy 5, thanks so much for watching, and for taking the time to comment! :) So, when looking up information regarding your question, I found that Miracle Matter's Bomb form actually takes 2 hits to disable, which I never realized until now. I wonder why that particular form was chosen to have fewer HP, but it's interesting nonetheless. In any case, I hope you enjoyed the remix - thanks again! 🌟
A Hard mode battle against Miracle Matter would be intense - and I'm psyched that this remix seemed to convey that level of intensity! Thanks for watching, kj!
This remix is next level bro, and so are the visuals! Great energy and sound design throughout
Thanks so much, Vector!! Hearing such positive and enthusiastic feedback means the world, coming from you. I am so psyched to hear that you enjoyed this one, and I really appreciate your taking the time to comment on it. ^_^
Thanks for mentioning the sound design specifically!
And last but not least, I can't believe you are literally single digits away from hitting 1,000 subscribers!!!
Even after figuring out how to deal damage, it still seemed like a crazy-hard challenge at the time, and the music and design added to the feeling of, "wait, is this still the same game?!"
Wow, you have an insane sense of inherent rhythm, because this piece is exactly 180 BPM - that was impressive!!
Thanks also for always making note of Kali's artwork!
The base is bumping in this one. I also like how the visualizers appeared
DS to DS! It's great to see you! Thanks so much for checking out this remix video - I appreciate your taking the time to comment. ^_^
Hehe, I had hoped that the bass elements would come across well here, and I appreciate the specific feedback on that aspect in particular! And thanks also for mentioning the visuals - although it was one of my most time-consuming visualizers yet, I am really happy with the result. 😁
Again, it means a lot that you continually take an interest in and support the videos here. Thank you!!
I love that each form changes the instrumental
Thanks so much, SpectroliteDS! I really appreciate your interest in this remix, and that you took the time to comment. ^_^
I'm delighted to hear that you enjoyed the shifts in instrumentation that correlated with the form changes - I was hoping that would be a key aspect of the remix video, and it warms my heart to see it mentioned specifically! Thanks again for the feedback! 🌟
Dude! All the details you arranged in here, holy heck!
Thanks so much, Ryu!! It means a ton that you take the time to listen and comment, and I'm delighted by your words of enthusiasm! I'm really glad that you felt that the arrangement sounded detailed, and I really appreciate that you kept an ear out for them.
Thanks again! ^_^
@cutecharmcutie9543 Likewise! Ryu's high-octane music is a blast to listen to. 😁 Thanks so much for your enthusiastic support, Cutecharmcutie!
I'm really glad that you enjoyed the storytelling that Kali and I tried to incorporate here. 😅
Thanks again for your interest in the video, and for your elaborate comment - I really enjoyed reading it! 🌟
HOLY COW Equalyze! You took this track and absolutely ROCKED it out of this world! I did not expect to witness so much heat! 🔥
The percussion is just WILD!
I'm thrilled beyond measure to know that this came as a spicy surprise, and thank you for saying so!
I also utilized quite a few of the original percussive sounds, and the deconstruction video linked in the description was instrumental in being able to access those isolated drum and percussion tracks (like the record scratch at 0:16 - I love that one!)
Ah man, I'm psyched that you liked that segment at 1:52, and honestly, your technique and sound style was a direct inspiration for that.
It means more than I can say that you always go out of your way to support the artists that are featured each month.
Thanks for mentioning the bass and percussive elements specifically!
I appreciate that you always take the time to mention the visuals specifically, as well! Kali and I are always heartwarmed by your comment on the art and animation, and for your continued encouragement and enthusiasm. Thank you again! 💛
NO WAY, I LOVE THIS TRACK
Orchestral hits have really grown on me over the years, and I never used to use them because they always felt like such a tough and unwieldy sound to use.
Thanks for mentioning that bell sound at 1:20, and I'm psyched that you enjoyed it in particular! 🔥
Hehe, I'm glad that you liked the fire visual effect, as well!
It's bullshit that you don't have 1000 subs yet.
KEEP UP THE AWESOME DUDE!
my man! Proud to know you and be associated with you!
And cool! It’s a great noise! Keep using it haha! :)
This is an absolute bop!
If you take suggestions then..
Wublin island my singing monsters
Hey, RHEEEEEEE, it's good to see you again! Thanks so much for taking an interest in this remix, and for the encouraging remarks. I'm glad you liked it!
Because most of my remixes are typically planned out well in advance, and because a good number of them tend to be collaborations, it's really difficult for me to cover requests. I still enjoy and appreciate hearing them, though!
Thank you again for your enthusiastic comments! :D
oh heck yeah dude this goes so hard 🔥🔥
It's seriously humbling to see you rate this remix so highly, and I'm thrilled that you enjoyed it from start to finish - especially in the ending segment.
@@Equalyze No problem man!! I love your remixes a lot, they are unique! Now, if you'll excuse me, I am gonna need an extension of this remix /j
Wow, that is seriously high praise to hear that this remix ranks so high for you, especially given that this track has been covered a surprising number of times over the years - thank you for that!
Yet, I'm thrilled to hear that you say that you feel I always add a personal and characteristic touch to the music.
It's hard bro lol
And you're a master at remixes which means you have an amazing ear for melody and finding out chords and understanding the arrangements. If hesitation or fear about composing is what holds you back please don't let it! Just wanted to say that. But please keep producing it inspires me to make more covers as well (one coming out from me in a few days).
Awesome chatting. Thanks! 🎸♥
Wow that's music 🎶 so good
Thanks so much for listening, and for taking the time to comment, Khánh Nguyễn Thái Gia! I really appreciate the kind words, and I'm delighted to hear that you enjoyed it. :D And thank you again for sharing this video on your channel! 🙂
@@Equalyze your welcome dude
The best remix ever is perfect 🔥
Wow, thank you so much, TIGERISH 2.0! That is some seriously high praise, and I'm delighted to hear that you enjoyed the remix so much. This really made my day! :D
I love that the music matches its respective phase!
@@Equalyze keep doing what you’re doing, you are very talented :)
Wow, Equalyze, I love how you don't just put effort into the remix itself, but you put a lot of effort into the video aspect as well!
Hey, Chocolate Chip Studios! Thanks so much for taking an interest in this remix, and for the thoughtful comment - it really means a lot! 😊
I'm touched to hear that you say that both the music and visuals feel like a lot of care and effort was put into them, and thanks so much for saying so!
Aw, it was nothin'...!
im actually speechless this sounds absolutely glorious and a lot better than the original in my opinion, also i dont know if im going crazy or does this part sound like the galacta knight theme? 0:05 huge props on going the dnb/breakcore route (from what i can hear) that style is hard to do and you did it justice with the mixing!
Thank you, Fabian!! Man, your comments are always such a joy to read, and I really appreciate your taking the time to listen so attentively and comment with specific details. ^_^
The original is such a fantastic piece, so to hear you say that there are improvements here, even, is _massive_ praise. I actually didn't reference any other tracks in this remix, but it's possible that something in the instrumentation or arrangement sounds reminiscent of Galacta Knight's battle theme (which, by the way, is _so_ dang good), so if that's the case, then it's merely a happy coincidence. 😁
It's hugely encouraging to hear that you felt the DnB & breakcore styles were executed well here, and thanks for saying so!
Thats What i call a masterpiece
Wow, thanks so much, Der eine kölner!! This comment really made my day! It's very high praise to see this remix being described as a masterpiece, and I am really happy to know that you enjoyed it. ^_^
AMAZING work. Both the presentation AND the track.
Keep it up!
Poyooo
Haha! Poyo poyooo! ^_^ Thanks so much for watching, Dolphinazee, and for the fun comment! 🌟
I'm delighted that you enjoyed the addition of dialogue in the video!
Again, it makes me so happy to see these ideas so well-received, and your mention of these aspects that I put a lot of care into means a tremendous amount. Thank you!!
I didn't know a licence as childish as Kirby could have such an epic boss theme. Just like Yoshi's Island and Plok.
Great take on music and visuals 🔥
Hey, Super Matt Boy! Thanks so much for listening, and for the kind feedback! I really appreciate your interest in this remix. 😊
Kirby games are known for being disarmingly cute at the start, then having some seriously dark and heavy events unfold as the game progresses - the secret bosses in particular tend to be terrifying (and terrifyingly difficult)! Yoshi's Island is a great example of that dichotomy, and I hadn't heard of Plok until you mentioned it, but woah, after checking out the boss theme, I can see what you mean! 😮
Thanks again for taking the time to comment, my friend - it means a lot! 💛
wow duuuude, the creativity... this has to be the best miracle matter rendition i have ever seen
😁 Likewise, I'll be looking forward to your future videos, as well!
fire 🗣‼🔥
Thanks so much, Aiden! I'm glad you liked this one, and I really appreciate the enthusiastic feedback. ^_^
Also, I listened to the music on your channel, and wow, is it impressive! The Haldera Volcano remix is brilliant (love the 6/8 time arrangement), and I was wowed by how polished the 49-track mashup is. You've got serious potential, and I hope you continue to make music!
@@Equalyze THANK YOU SMMMMM I RLLY APPRECIATE IT
Orchestral hits!
Thank you for being both an inspiration and a friend, Neon X - I'm grateful to have met you, and I look forward to sharing in this endeavor with you for many years to come! 💛
Wow. Good Miracle Matter remixes are a rare find but this, this is wonderful! I love the vibe you went with.
Woah, thank you so much, Under Ray! That is _huge_ praise, to hear that this remix fits such a selective criterion - thank you so much! ^_^
I knew from the start that this would be a difficult song to remix, and I really wanted to approach it with the mentality that I needed to go all-out and take my time selecting instrumentation and working out rhythms, as well as the overall song flow. I feel like Miracle Matter is a theme that's rather unforgiving, so to see you say that this turned out so well means a great deal to me!
Thanks again for taking an interest in this remix, and for the encouraging feedback! 🌟
absolute cinema
Thanks for mentioning the percussive elements specifically!
THIS IS SO GOOOOOD
I love how the music adapts based on the ability being used
Thank you, Lodac!
Nice visuals to correspond in the background.
Will you do 02 boss theme?
or 0.
the only thing that matters is how well this remix turned out!
Haha! I love the play on words here, and I'm thrilled that you enjoyed the remix! 😁 Thanks so much for the kind comment, TheCreepypro!
@@Equalyze anytime! you deserve all the kind comments!
BADASS LOOKING ART YESS THE QUEEN
BANGER
Thank you, Hakudan2! I really appreciate the feedback, and I'm thrilled that you enjoyed this remix! :D
Wait its D20 then how it can have 21 HP ?
@@KL53986 Hey, Galaxy 5, thanks so much for watching, and for taking the time to comment! :) So, when looking up information regarding your question, I found that Miracle Matter's Bomb form actually takes 2 hits to disable, which I never realized until now. I wonder why that particular form was chosen to have fewer HP, but it's interesting nonetheless.
In any case, I hope you enjoyed the remix - thanks again! 🌟
@@Equalyze Thats quite a explosive discovery.
@@KL53986 Haha! Indeed it was! 💣 Thanks again for listening and commenting, Galaxy!
Matter: Hard mode
A Hard mode battle against Miracle Matter would be intense - and I'm psyched that this remix seemed to convey that level of intensity! Thanks for watching, kj!
