went to see her in detroit, sadly the entire crowd was 14 year old girls who wouldn’t let you move around or hear her over their screaming, she has such a soft voice. so i appreciate videos like this where its stripped down and you can really hear her voice, its so soft and beautiful

The drummer in the record who actually it’s a girl, it’s a different one for the live shows who is the guy on the video.
He's actually playing the same patterns, these drums just have a different sound. It's because the ones on the studio version are gated, meaning the reverb is cut off so they sound sharper and more precise. This live drum set doesn't have that effect on it, so we hear the whole drum sound.

I love this song; specifically this version: her passion confirms an authentic experience. When I watch this video, I think about my daughters and how much they've grown.
