I just bought my first miata, a 2000 special edition, and it's by far the best handling car I've owned. I love everything about it besides the power but I can't wait to supercharge it.
Not sure who this is specifically, but I really appreciate it. Yeah it felt kinda like a trip down memory lane driving this car around where we grew up
I'll be doing my driver license in two and a half year and ive always loved NA/NB miata's, im saving money to buy a miata as soon as possible after i get my license. I just love how fun they are, i dont care about these stereotypes, this is the coolest, fun car ive ever seen and experienced.
Im really scared that they might skyrocket once again, like 5 years ago you could get an NA for 2 grand, and now the cheapest beat up with quadrilion of miles are 6k atleast
@@szpinak506 dont worry, they exploded because of the rising jdm prices and the pop-ups lol. You will surely get a nice NB or even an NC in two years 😅
@@danieldylka2957 do you think NA's could get down in price or are they gonna keep rising? I really hope the hype for used cars dies off so i can buy cars cheap again haha
@@szpinak506 Dont think the prices will Fall anytime soon :(, as a alternative you can maybe look for a 1st or second Gen Toyota Mr2. One of them even has pop-ups haha. But theyre pretty rare to find cheap
The car is like doing 70 mph on a skateboard they never excited me just because i like bigger vehicles but it is obvious you are having fun and that is the whole point
Makes me really miss my NA...its been almost two months since I've been able to drive her. She's very broken. Hopefully I'll have her running again in a few weeks though
I was gonna say, good job filming and the voice work. You should do driving POV and review's. Then I checked your history and everything made more sense, haha. I really want one of these come spring. I'm stuck though. Not sure if I want an NA2 or an NB2 but it seems like NB2 is the way to go. I've heard with the extra bracing, the VVT and overall just a better car unless you want raw driving. I'll probably just have to test both but I think NB2 is where it's at.
Hey man, I really appreciate the kind words! Haha yeah I plan to continue with the POV content and see where it goes. That’s a tough choice. Performance wise the NB will be the superior car. But the NA is a better miata (since its so iconic). But ultimately it comes down to if you want pop-up headlights :)
@@bendaga It sounds like a tough choice, really. To be honest, the reason I want one is I've yet to own a RWD car before and also miss driving stick. I mostly want something for cruising the back roads and something that makes going slow feel fast. Reason thinking about the NB is because it might end up going a hundred miles or two in any given direction from home sometimes and want something more comfortable and stable feeling, especially on the highway. I'd have to see how both react on the highway and judge if I could comfortably enjoy it on longer trips. Thought about checking out the NC too because those are coming down. I guess we'll see here soon enough.
@@bendaga I want an NA, but here in the UK they're semi difficult to find (nearest for sale is 180 miles away) and they're double the price of an NB. NA's are now about 4k, but NB's are 2k. Do you think an NB is disappointing in comparison to an NA, or do you think if I bought an NB instead of an NA I would love it just as much?
@@thomaslambert2318 I will try not to be biased here, but I really do love the NB. It’s such a good car for the money. If you could find one for half the cost of a NA, I think thats an amazing deal.
My first ever manual driving experience was with a relative's MX-5 NC. It was decent enough, but I'd really love to own a decent NB to continue my practice. Much more reliable, so I've been told, and it doesn't try too hard to look aggressive like the ND lol. It may not be nearly as powerful as its contemporaries, but if the driving experience is as fun as it looks, I'd happily take it over any twin-turbo.
Mine leaked like crazy and couldn't get any new rubber seals for a decent price so i got rid of it. What a shame they never made a hardtop for whatever reason
Thanks! As for the color code, I believe you can call your local dealer and they should be able to tell you the color code based on your VIN. Have done that on cars in the past. Best of luck!
@@Tintoycar idk if you have a product line called Dupli-Color (High Performance Wheel Coating - HWP101 SILVER) in Belgium, but that’s what I used to restore the stock center wheel cap covers as those tend to wear to an ugly orange after a while.
What is with that gauge cluster? Is that stock in the US? My EU version has low RMPs in the bottom left of the gauge. This looks like way better solution, especialy since I will need smaller steering wheel, as my hand can't fit between the wheel and my thigh.

Why not turbo it?
Classic way
I just want to retain the punchiness it has, I have 2 other turbo cars and find myself having more fun with the miata because there's zero lag

Stock NB miata is perfect!
Which exhaust do you have?
Also what head unit did you go for? Looking to do the same

I think he said the car was stock. I owned an NB miata and the OEM exhaust sounded pretty good with the top down.
Do you have exhaust or intake modified? Sound pretty nice!
Peaceful ride, thanks
Thanks for stopping by
Love it .. Deff saying up for one .. hopefully next summer 🙏🏼
Hope you find a good one. The best time to buy a miata is usually in the winter time. In the summer the prices are a bit more steep due to the demand.

I prefer to open the doors just a little bit when I open or close the roof.
May I ask why? Does it damage the roof?
Over time it might damage it a little bit.

buttery downshifts
