Tell me if this is a correct understanding of the answer, the netbook value of the fixtures and fittings is 4500, and this amount should have been added to the capital account but instead it was added to a different account and therefore it was deducted from the capital account, therefore the capital account was understated by 4500

You're correct about rent being debited. But in this case, I did not prepare the suspense account, I just corrected the errors within the trial balance itself.

Isn't Question 6 wrongly attempted? if rent paid was not recorded then rent shall be debited and suspense account will be credited
