The rear kitchen is pretty cool. I think I'd put some kind of retractable screen and/or curtain between the kitchen and the sleeping area.
I also think two doors on the rear would be better than one big door.
For coffee, I'd probably get a French press or moka pot, so you can just make coffee with the stove.
Looked like your ball hitch wasn't fully seated into the coupler, be careful to check that before pulling and spray White Lithium grease or WD40 in the coupler to make sure the catches move properly. Also with the safety chains ⛓️, cross them in a "X" (right side chain hooked on left catch, left on right) under the coupler so that if the trailer comes loose from the ball hitch the chains act as a cradle to help catch the coupler, keep it from slamming into the pavement and limits how much it can move side to side so it doesn't turn sideways and flip. If the chains hang very low give them a few twists so they not only shorten up and don't drag the ground but if the trailer comes loose it keeps it from swaying back and forth as much as you slow to a stop. Just leave enough slack so they don't get bound up in a tight turn maneuver. If it ever does comes loose DON'T hit the brakes hard!! Just slow to a stop a little at a time or it's going to slam your car and cause some bad damage. A lot of couplers have a loop or bent metal skid plate on the bottom so it can slide along the road until you stop without digging into the pavement, if yours doesn't I would recommend either replacing it with one that does or having someone weld one on. Nice little trailer you found! I would add a mosquitoe net behind the shelf so as you're cooking the bugs don't go inside to the lights. If you add a sink and water tank, put the tank under the trailer in front of the axles so the weight stays centered and doesn't cause the trailer to weave back and forth.
Thanks for the tips!
That’s all great advice
I'd always opt for lithium grease on a tow hitch. WD40 is great for immediate release/lubrication; but, it evaporates to nothing really quickly.
Excellent suggestions!!! ❤❤
@@simonblooddevaycompletely agree
Congratulations on your new camper!! Can't wait to see the refurberation process! Have fun!
Thanks so much!
You guys are doing great ! I bought a Run Away camper for me and gal pal . Our first night went pretty good despite me getting punched and kicked about seven times . But we are back talking to each other again . Have fun ! 😊
😂😂😂😂
I'm only ½ way through watching the 1st video about Frodo. I already feel a sense of kindred spirits. My late husband and I were both lifelong campers, explorers and tourists. I look forward to seeing where your adventures will take you!
Beautiful camp trip ,gorgeous couple . Have fun with it
Awesome, find. Enjoy the outdoors 💯.Good times.
My mom took a cooking class many years ago.
And she was showed putting Mac and cheese with tuna and Campbell's mushroom soup mixed together we loved it.
That sounds interesting. I'm gonna give that a try. Thank you.
That shocked me tbh, but I'm a Southern gal so
I use corned beef, sometimes Spam.
You guys are cool.. what a splendid little ahelter on wheels!
Frodo on the roads - what a treat! You guys gonna have a blast with that one.
I had a similar camper back in 1988-89. It was a homemade build from a carpenter friend and I paid him with 3 bottles of Rum and 24 cans of beers. I did Scandinavia and a bit of Europe with mine.
That sounds awesome. I think you got a good deal!
Reminds me of campers I used to see at Grateful Dead shows!
Love it. Have fun. Missed you guys last week.
That's so sweet of you to say that you missed us last week. We will be back on the regular posting schedule from here on out!
That camper is adorable! I can see how one can collect vintage campers.... I love me a vintage mobile home myself ❤
Safe travels from Texas
That camper is ADORABLE!
For a dog.
Yup
That's awesome, so much you could do with this design
❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤ ISO totally love it I've been building small trailers for over 20 years and I didn't even know about that one but that one is really really cute and I'm sure glad she found a good owners and I know you guys are going to give her a good home God bless happy campers 🧛🧛🧛❤❤❤🙏🙏🙏🙏🙏🙏🙏
LOL FRODO!! What a great name the little guy. 😂
I think so too!
So adorable! I love teardrop size trailers and yours is so unique! Enjoy it to the fullest and looking forward to seeing your camping adventures!
Thank you so much!
Love the vintage look, brings back some memories!
That's what drew us to it initially
Checkout a bal leveler jack.
It jacks under one wheel and chocks it at the same time. Helps alot with leveling side to side and between that and the tongue jack gets the trailer pretty level.
Stabilizer jacks on all 4 corners are great if the trailer has them.
You guys might the smallest Aliner trailer that travels small but folds up or the clipper. Both of those are probably around the same weight, but both would allow you to stand and have much newer components. I loved my 1987 Coleman Columbia tent trailer that is about the same footprint as your trailer, maybe wider, but opens up so nice for summer camping!
I don't think I'd feel safe in one of those campers that are solid on the bottom but tent on top. Someone could literally stab you in your sleep, right through the tent material. I know that the chances of that aren't high but I'm paranoid. Lol I just don't like the safety aspect, it doesn't seem so safe. Maybe if I were to see one up close or go in one, I'd think completely different, actually I know I would.

You two are awesome and I love your little camper too, cool 😎 Thanks for sharing 👌 👍
I love Frodo! I'm glad you found this camper and am looking forward to seeing the refurberations videos!
More to come!
Yay, looking forward to your camping trips. Cheers from England!!
Awesome! Thank you!
Just stumbled upon your tiny trailer Frodo. Diggin it. I need to check out the PB cup in a smore. YOU need to try a rocky road bar in them! That’s ALSO a game changer😉
How’s it goin!?
Hi! New sub here. We just found you guys this morning and we like your little camper. It reminds us a lot of ours. Similar shape but ours is a little bit bigger. We have really been enjoying ours as well and you're right that lots of people smile, point, and start conversations because of having a unique camper. And yes, so much better gas mileage than with a larger rig. Looking forward to watching more of your videos!
Their videos are great! Def worth a subscribe
Thanks so much! We have only used it a handful of times so far, but we love it already. Can't wait to make some updates and make it our own!
@@TheAwkwardTourists Absolutely. It's amazing how a few little customizations here and there can make such a big difference. Even little things like Command Hooks by the door for hanging keys really help.
What a great little camper, and a terrific experience. Tbat is perfect. Great video.
This is like a vintage runaway camper! It’s really cool, I like it!
Enjoy it to the fullest. I had 75 Boler and loved it and foolishly sold it when I bought a trailer set up at a camp ground. I paid $3K Cdn, now, you can’t get one for under $10K Cdn. I wanted one because I had a Tercel that I hauled it with, then bought a corolla and you didn’t even know it was behind you. Thanks for sharing!
I like watching videos like these...but I have to say....I've been divorced for 8 years now and I have not dated anyone during that time, but seeing you two and the relationship you have, is really making my feel lonely. In other words, you two seem to have a lovely relationship :)
Well I've been divorced for two years and am absolutely loving the freedom to go camping and do other excursions at a moments notice! Ya just got to make the most out of it!
You just got another subscriber y'all. I like the editors cuts at the end as well. Is there any updates on this little camper?
Renovation video coming soon!
Such a sweet couple. I think that was my takeaway from the video. You two make coupling look so sweet. 😊
I’m looking at building a 4x4x 7 foot ‘box to fit in my truck, nothing fancy, just enough to have myself and my dogs in. Totally slide in and lightweight. Built a fairly fancy one years ago that looked like a log cabin, but it was 2200 pounds and not easily removed. Just need to stay warm and dry.
Kevin has always wanted to have a little truck camper
I would love to find a little camper like that it looks so awesome
Congrats guys on your new adventures and camper. Looking forward to seeing what modifications u make along the way to suit u guys!! ✌️
Us too! We have some grand plans for it!
What a cute camper! I hope you have fun with it. Greetings from Germany, Marco ❤🌞😅👍
Thanks! 😃
Kevin is a genius with the Reeses
He certainly thinks so 😂
@@TheAwkwardTourists I am just bitter I didn't think about it first. Don't worry I will be fine.
That looks like a fun project 😀
I would love that for just me but If I Had a significant other with me I don't want to crawl over each other lol😂
I love the camper
We've been together for 10 years so we've done worse things lol
What happened to the refurb videos? Did the project get pushed to the side for now? Would love to see what you managed to achieve with the tiny camper!
We're about 90% done with the camper, just have to put the finishing touches on! It was hard to get done with our schedule
You two are so cool I see A lot of love
Thank you!
I have a tiny trailer like that and I’m sitting in mine now watching you😂
Im really looking forward to making one of these
Definitely would move the propane tank and battery outside to vent .smoke and co alarm are a must also
That's what we are thinking
😢Some van conversions use an air tight box with a vent to the outside for the propane. Assuming the fridge is electric, switching to 1 pound propane bottles would probably handle your needs.
That's so cute. I love one and I'm only 5ft2
This Beautiful For You Both I Love It...People Who Stare Are Very Jealous They Arent You And They Are Intersted In It. You Have No Payments And Fix It Sweet As It Is Ad You Both❤❤
I Love You Two! The mini camper is So Cool! Great video you two! Congrats! Best Regards!
BLUETTI power stations are great for camping. They have something for everyone.
This was cool have lots of fun.
I really like shows like this there are a couple of you that I watch on youtube
I begged my wife to go camping!! So I bought a pop up camper and it rained and everything at the Campground was flooded!!! Now 15 yrs later and 3 campers later we got a permanent site and a Beautiful Rockwood Roo 23ss travel trailer ❤❤❤❤!!! Life is Good 😊..God bless all...
Just subbed. Yall are the cutest. My wife and I aspire to be like yall. we are about ready to get something going soon for some camping and traveling and somethin like this is in the cards, but Id like to build it from scratch. Did yall ever do a like/dislike or things you would change on this little thing. Would be super interested in some updates or comments on things needed changed. salute!
Outside kitchen. It good in windy desert camping good luck hope you get better tires
That is awesome 👌 I would love something like that, by the way I loved your video ❤
Love your new micro camper 😍
It's the perfect size for weekend camping.
Fucking adorable! That's you both and Froto. Great find! Great buy! ENJOY!!!!!❤
Fuck yeah why swearing
Maybe get a pour over coffee strainer dripper and a gooseneck tea kettle works great for camping 😊
I’d recommend taller tires. U might have to move the fenders up but it will tow way better and have way less flats. The tiny tires will give you trouble if you do long distance.
Wicked love it.
A plus, keep it coming!
Cool, you guys are great.
Forget the electic coffee maker get a percolator for the stove top.
That things is cool !!!!
With the tuna and can of cream of mushroom soup and some pea and carrots a little bit of onion powder and for just one box of Mac half a can of soup would work use half and freeze half for another day my children always loved it and if children eat it you have done a good job as I think any way
looking forward to all the ,refurberations, vlogs ;)
Us too!
Congratulations!!! Have fun !! Just separate the electrics from the propane tank!
Bloody hell I'd venture a guess that my 2011 Ford Fiesta could haul this awesome little thing. :P
no i am builing one even smaller ( 1000mm 1000mm 900mm = outside, 800mm 900mm 500mm = inside ) ( for my bike )
Reminds me of a teardrop camper. Congrats
We were looking at those too. This is the same size as teardrops, maybe even a bit smaller
Looks great, but for my old age would like a small kitchen inside and a little bathroom
hi that is very nice its a square drop i love it
Very cool and nice cute 😊
People Who Stare Are In Awe of Your Camper and Its Adorable If It Works For You Great Treat It With TLCAnd Care For It As It Will Take Care Of You In Time Of Trouble Trust In The Lord He Blessed You People To Get It❤❤❤
Hi there
Welcome to micro camping !!!!!
We have a go pod micro caravan ...the coolest caravan ever ...try one of these!!!!!!!!!
Just a saftey tip move the electric or propane thats an explosion waiting to happen considering this stuff will bounce around say that tank or a line comes lose and then you have a short in the electric boom
Nice little camper id like to have it be perfect for fishing trips an over landing I'd never won't to come back home 😂 especially by myself
It makes camping so comfy
I think it is adorable…. Wondering if you need larger tires….. that is only if you go more than 50 miles hr….
Was wondering if you both still have "Frodo" ? I am still looking forward to seeing your updates to it?
Such a gorgeous camper. Can it be pulled by a bike as well, please? Or would it be too heavy?
Awesome content and people 🔥👍🏾
I actually love it and would use this!
Yup fuck like rabbits in side ir
Im making one ...and much quicker..i pushed a dumpster from Walmart. My brother is gonna weld some wherls...
Ill be posting it soon
Okie dokie let us know how those wherls go 👍
Omg that's sooo cute. ❤
Yup eat
Coleman makes a drip coffeemaker that runs on propane. I have had 1 for 2 years and I love it. Check it out and you’ll love it too
Very cute and great size for huling behind just about anything.
Yup even fat
Just a thought, the flammable tank of propane might not like being next to electrical # sparky # things.
I've heard they don't get along well.
Now, that's cool 😎
Congratulations on buying a great little camper. Are you planning on maybe putting a sink and/or shower in it ?
Thanks! I think we are going to put a little sink in the back, And maybe an outdoor shower but still not sure about that one
El gaz junto al power Bank, te hará volar
One and done? I don’t see any other videos with this camper.
Hi, please see our latest post in our community tab
This camper is perfect for me
And a partner to ride the shit out of you!
A stero stove is cheap and for coffee and heating up canned foods it's great for a back up
no concerns with having the propane and battery in same compartment?
One of the things we're addressing with our redo 👍🏻
Doesn't look like you need to do much to it, really. Other than maybe some aesthetics. As for the lack of a sink, maybe a bucket or 2 and park near a water source. I think it was a great investment 👍
Hey tuna Mac! That’s what I ate a lot! I thought I was the only one who did this.
That's our camping go to!
A French press is what I use that way you can still have perk or you need boiling water
Trailing pro tip #1. Drive with at least one extra tire mounted on a wheel (sucks waiting 2 hours for AAA to show and on that note...) #1a. Get AAA rv & trailer coverage (really sucks waiting another two hours for AAA to return with a mounted trailer tire) #2. Watch your speed! Nothing worse that trailer sway over 65 mph. Learned all of the above the hard way, haha, and I like you both too much for it to happen to you.
Good advice! Thanks
Cool camper. I like it. Subscribed.
Thanks for the sub!
what happens if it is very cold or raining and you want to cook, could the kitchen area be adapted to allow for cooking on either side? I suppose the easiest solution would be to cook under the awning.
If it's very cold or raining we're going to a hotel lol
