Car sounds amazing. I think the new spoiler looks much better and makes the car wider😁 and aggressive. On the next video give us a price list on parts and labour on the fuel tank. Love all you videos especially on the Esprit.
At 5:42: I think from looking at the parts Gerald threw in the package, he did the ram air mod. The SP300 rear spoiler looks great! I think installing s4s or SP300 wheel arch extensions are a bit more involving, as you have the old placement of the side blinkers on your car. No room to install the extensions when they are located there. You need to move them to the newer position or get small round mini blinkers. You don't need to cut the original arches to install the extensions. Can be done without. Cheers. Jacques
It looks beautiful from every angle! The wheel fitment is perfection! And using AK bodycraft is a great choice! One of the best Bodyshop’s locally! And the flutter is enough to put a smile on anyones face!
Glad it's sorted now...👍. It looks amazing with the S4s spoiler.....but I think your right about the extension wheel arches... It looks great without them and the bigger alloys....👍 Still miss my one....😥..🙂
Looks great, sounds great and as you say the original spoiler can be put back on 👍. My feeling is leave the wheel arches as they are. Was planning to take my Evora LE to Lotus In The Peak but I've got covid right now. Bad timing - disappointed that I won't be there at Chatsworth. Have a great time on Sunday Charlie.
Cheers buddy. So sorry to hear you have covid!!! Hope you feel better. There’s always next year!! I’m going to try and organise a few more driving meet ups soon too! Would be good to have you along!
I've had three fuel smell concerns with my SE. First one was the balance hose, second was the rubber gator, third was a six inch hose from the fuel filler. Next will probably be the tanks. Fingers crossed.
Hi Charlie, Looks beautiful Andy much better than the midspoiler. I would not change more. I own a yellow Esprit SE with OZ wheels and it Looks Great. Greetings From Germany (LHD) 😁
Thanks for the video upload. Could you please advise the name of the garage that fitted the tank for you? I assume you were happy with their work? I always believed it was necessary to remove the engine to replace the tanks? Thanks again.
Hi Clive, I use GST performance in Newmarket for everything Lotus Esprit related, they have always been fantastic however, they have a waiting list of customers. Check your receipts, chances are they may be familiar with your car. No it is not necessary to remove the engine! :)
@@CharlieDrives The firewall between engine compartment and the cabin. Anyways, when this car came out, it was a very advanced vari mould of a true blend of composites. Not jsut a bicycle tube and plywood... Cheers, Jacques

Diffinately the right decision. Looks fantastic.

Good to see some Esprit content again.

Thanks Arnim glad you like it!! Yep it’s staying as it is now. Will eventually get interior re trimmed when the funds allow!!!
Always good to see the Esprit! I would say leave it as it is.
As in with the new spoiler???
@@CharlieDrives I like how it looks now with the mid spoiler removed and (I think) the new one in place!
Personally like the s4s wheel arch extensions with the more aggressive spoiler

@@CharlieDrives Thank you Charlie, I really appreciate the information. I've just bought an Esprit, so I may end up calling upon their services...
Would like a back to back of the Evora and the Esprit. What does one bring vs the other.
Ok back to back you got it! I can already picture the thumbnail!!! 😎
How susceptible are the 2002+ v8s to this issue?
Love it!
Mid spoilers were a mistake by Lotus that they corrected after so you can’t be blamed for changing it.
Whatever you do don’t crash it! It’s made from bicycle tubing and plywood. I saw Tavarish Take apart a lotus Esprit and that’s what he found😳
Dont forget, Tavarish's car had been bodged by one of the last owners.
Don’t think there’s any wood in my car 🙈😬
