Just a small tip, its best to use some 'FastaFix Back boxes' on those electrical socket outlets. Cut the hole to the shape of a standard 2 gang box and simply push the FastaFix box in. Much safer as it will contain the 240 volt cables behind, plus it will keep Wood away from the electrics. 😎
I fitted a water bottle in a converted ambulance that now belongs to “Dotty Dora UK Explorer” & I cut a hole through the floor in the under sink cupboard to slot the bottles in so they can’t move. Just an idea. Nice build 🚐☕️☕️👍🏼🏴🌈🙏🏼💙❤️💙❤️
We have a matress from the same company, ours is only 125mm thick due to space constraints so they advised orthopaedic memory foam and it's soooo comfy. Enjoy your trip.
Wow Shaun, the van is looking absolutely amazing! Well done you should be proud of your self it looks like a professional conversation that you would pay good money for!
Fantastic first family holiday with the little treacle have an amazing time making memories in your luvvly van it looks awesome sending blessings to you all🧙🌟💖😘
Looks great 👍🏻😄That mattress is really good. But for me, that socket near the sink would not be there cus no matter what I do, when around water and washing dishes it goes everywhere 😆Enjoy the holiday.
Lisa from Delaware in the US. An idea if you're going to have fresh water and your dirty water in the same looking containers in the same storage space you may want to label the dirty water jug just be on the safe side. Also fresh water jugs or purified water come in 5 gal jugs as well and it still fit in your area they may be more beneficial for a long trip a cheaper in the long run.❤😊
Top tip for levelling stuff on uneven ground.... Grab a Digital Angle guage buddy. The sort you'd use to set up a table saw or bandsaw, B and Q probably sell them. For the shelf you fitted, you would rest it on the plinth you measured from, set that as zero, then just rest it on your shelf and adjust til you find zero again 👍
I'm just about to fit my curtain across the cab and have bought a plastic table-cloth (white background with coloured stars - 50p poundland) and a tension rod extension pole. The stars will fold over the top of the rod and I will stick it together with masking tape. It will probably last me, before tearing, about 6 months. I don't like dark interior, prefer light and bright ‼️👍😉
The van is looking awesome. Glad you were able to get done what you needed to for your upcoming trip. Are you going to need a ladder to get into your bed? That mattress looked fabulous! Have a great time with your family on this new adventure.
Shaun, I would have used plasterboard back boxes for the sockets. They are less than £1 and it would be easier to straighten them up and remove them if necessary. Tidy job all round otherwise.
hope you have a great time in Newquay, you need to check out the Farmers Arms, St. Columb Minor which is where I took the pic a couple of months ago which says Love Sundays!
Massive congratulations on neally completing the van build mate , iv enjoyed every step of the build from day 1 till the nr end 🙏🏻🫶🏻. Its been a blast and cant wait to see what you do next in the videos have a fantastic hoilday 🙏🏻
You have made such a fantastic job. I would never have the confidence or patience to do a van build myself, but found myself glued to your build and have really enjoyed watching the series. Hope you have a lovely holiday with the family. 🤗🚌
That looks bloody brilliant Shaun, you have made a cracking job of the van so far. Enjoy your family trip away in it. I did spot another plaster on your finger again, you should keep away from sharp tools mate
Looks amazing Shaun you’ve done a cracking job…hope you having a nice break away we’ve just come back from Newquay shame we could have met up for a beer. 😊
Love the van, were gunna start saving for a day van, i like the idea of getting an ex builder van and doing it up ideally all for under 3k 1. I think itll be a challenge 2. Im a mechanic so dont mind a 'fixer'upper'. Great to see your channel growing. Hope you all enjoy your holiday 😊
Be more than happy to help you with your electrics over FaceTime? After everything you’ve done to help us. Easy to do inverter mate. Like everything it’s easy when you know how 👍🏻 great video as always.
Looks great Shaun, well done getting your van 'ready' for a holiday - hope you, Kate and Charlie have a lovely time relaxing and don't find anything you can't live with, just a few things where you think of a better way to do it / better position for it!
9:05 & 9:21 .... I'm just gonna pretend I did'nt see those bits!! lmao ... Dear god Shaun, at least get some dry lining boxes & use the supplied 4BA screws rather than wood screws. It's like chav central! pmsl. On the positive side I'm loving this van build series though! I'm currently binge watching the entire 24 video playlist, Good work man.
Great build, amazing job. I would be worried about over hanging duvets and dropped pillows, if your little man is in a moses basket beneath the Parents bed like that.

Apart from the ceiling your camper van is nearly finished looks very nice and has come together nicely

Basically a high end studio apartment in a Ford Transit.
Ahh the best way to start my Sunday!
It’s Saturday 😂
The van looks superb Shaun. A real home away from home. Hope you have a great holiday.

Carbon monoxide fills from the bottom to the top , so have your Carbon monoxide alarm lowish to the ground of the van about a foot ish 👍
Wow Shaun, the van is looking absolutely amazing! Well done you should be proud of your self it looks like a professional conversation that you would pay good money for!
The van is looking great. Hope you have a cracking holiday and it stays nice and sunny for you all.
Thanks
Fantastic first family holiday with the little treacle have an amazing time making memories in your luvvly van it looks awesome sending blessings to you all🧙🌟💖😘
Thank you
That’s a very clever table mate
Well done mucka, you should be really pride of yourself, hope you have a great time with your family in your van 🤟
Great build, worth all the hard work, have a fab holiday and hope the weather improves
Shaun you definitely need to fit back boxes for those sockets, the regulations demand it. Cavity wall boxes will just pop into your ply wall
Looks great 👍🏻😄That mattress is really good. But for me, that socket near the sink would not be there cus no matter what I do, when around water and washing dishes it goes everywhere 😆Enjoy the holiday.
Fantastic Shaun - hope you all have a great trip mate!
That is looking perfect! A real cosy home from home. Hope you all have a great time on holiday

Good advice
@@LoveSundays oh, and loving the videos and the van by the way!
Great content fella 👍
All you need to fadten your curtain is velcro with a sticky backto mount to the van wall, and the curtain😊
Good idea
please use some flush back boxes for your 230v sockets dry lining ones would be suitable in your ply lining 👍
Brilliant job! Enjoy your first family holiday together. x
Thank you 😂
Mate I hope you have an amazing time you so worked for it
I’ve had my custom sized beds mattress for two years now, best night sleep in my van.
