- The train from Thailand to the Malaysia border goes for only $1.40 and through this video, I share my experience. The Thailand-Malaysia border crossing is very simple, and if you hold an EU passport, there is no visa pay to enter Malaysia!
The train starts in Hat Yai and arrives in Padang Besar, you'll practically get out of the train in Malaysia and that's where you'll need to fill out an online form and then get a passport stamp.
