Okay, your donut mold makes 9 donuts so If I have an 8 donut mold, I just multiply the nutrition information for 1 donut by 9 and then divide by 8 and I should have a close approximation of the right numbers. Kitchen math, not my favorite but a necessary grind. Your channel is very impressive, you provide great recipes and ideas!

I live almost 3000 miles from there now. Out west you don't hear the term long john. I have had to request the white cream filling as that isn't common either.

My go-to doughnut at Tim Horton's was the sour cream glazed because it goes so well with a hot cup of tea, but occasiinally they would have a chocolate doughnut, glazed and liberally coated with toasted macaroon coconut. Heavenly! Now, thanks to you, I can recreate them both. Than you!

I just made these donuts, I am new to keto and to making donuts. They came out beautiful, and taste amazing. I did not glaze them, maybe next time, but I am not of real big glaze fan. I also used just the regular monk fruit sweetner because I did not have the golden and it seems to have worked.
"Lakanto Golden Monkfruit Sweetener" actually is mostly erythritol, so I was a little confused by that part. Did you maybe mean that if you used straight erythritol,(w/out the tiny bit of added monkfruit) then it might be softer? Or maybe just the plain white erythritol? I'm also a baker/candy maker, so I know how much difference it can make~ goodness, I've gone through SO many different iterations of recipes, based on the different sweeteners. Which is why your channel is immensely appreciated Alycia~ THANK YOU! These look/sound amazing, & I'm thinking they're on my short list at this point=) ~Samantha in AZ
I know but lakanto doesn't have a texture like brown sugar i said a straight erythritol like swerve which is the brand of erythritol that most people use, has added ingredients. There is more moisture in other products that aren't lakanto golden monkfruit/erythritol so it might make the bake good softer. Most people don't know that lakanto has erythritol mixed in because it says monkfruit in big letters and erythritol in small letters on the package.

I make bbq sauce all the time, just never really write a recipe. I've been a chef my whole life I just throw crap together most of the time for savory meals, lol. But I usually fallow an online recipe for BBQ swap out the sweetener and use sugar free ketchup. Might make more savory recipes at some point.

Hi Alycia… I did something wrong the will not cook all the way thru one I think I added to much phsilium husk by mistake my scale froze and I had all the dry together Ugg …it’s the only thing I can think off maybe a tad bit more buttermilk than 6 oz but it just isn’t working I kept putting back In oven and some of donut is done and some not ugh ….new batch I think

I didn't like a keto chocolate cereal I bought at Wal-Mart and I didn't want to throw it away so I ground them up, I added 1/2 cup coconut flour, 1 cup almond flour, 3 Tabl coconut oil, 1 tsp vanilla and 1 tsp almond extract, I spread it on a parchment lined baking pan which 9 by 13 then refridgerated. In a seperate bowl I mixed 2 packets of gelatin with 2 cups hot water, added 2 (8oz) packets of cream cheese, 1/2 cup cocoa powder, 1 cup munkfruit sugar 1/4 cup of agave, 1/2 tsp salt and poured over my cereal crust, refrigerate for 1 hour, it came out Delicious and yes I made a chocolate No bake cheesecake and I topped mine with strawberries

I just try to find one without sugar in the ingredient list but pure is always the best but too expensive for all the testing. And I mentioned 2 different cocoa powders in the video. Callebaut and ghiradelli.

Not sure. I've used them together in recipes but never just gelatin. Xanthan gum is pretty cheap at walmart so never thought to sub what already works.

The recipe make 12-14 donuts the macros are for 1 of 12 chocolate donuts with vanilla glaze.

If you have a Costco near by, and you or a friend are a member, go there to get 1/2 gallons of heavy cream for under $10.00.
Unfortunately we don't yet. But I try to get the walmart brand for 3.50 a qt. But sometimes they are completely sold out.
Raspberry filled....that's my favorite.. second is old fashioned plain, or old fashioned cinnamon sugar.
Once I figure out the Boston cream I'll be able to do all the filled! Can't wait!

What's a good vanilla extract and which cocoa powder do you use
I just try to find one without sugar in the ingredient list but pure is always the best but too expensive for all the testing. And I mentioned 2 different cocoa powders in the video. Callebaut and ghiradelli.

Not a ton usually. Usually if they fall significantly they were a little under baked. So glad they were still delicious. You can tag me, Keto upgrade,on Facebook I believe if you post a picture.

Have you used choczero chocolate chips? They don’t have any sugar alcohols and taste the best- without the cooling taste of erythrotol
I have, everything I've tried though tastes fruity to me for some reason, there is an ingredient I don't like the flavor of in most of their products.
@@KetoUpgrade yes totally know what you mean- we need a new chocolate company to come out with non sugar alcohol or at least allulose sweetened chocolate with minimal ingredient deck

They look great, wonder if beef gelatin powder could be substituted for the xanthan gum.
Not sure. I've used them together in recipes but never just gelatin. Xanthan gum is pretty cheap at walmart so never thought to sub what already works.
