good job Tony that looks fantastic you are a smart guy I have a hard job to a sandwich lol but I don't think I will get the grandkids to say the plucker ridel I know how that would end up just saying thanks for sharing looking forward to the next video have a wonderful night
Thanks Tom. You are always so kind and we appreciate your support of the channel and our videos so very much.Have a great night and wonderful week our friend.
Thanks Ken. I love the old ways for sure. I have learned a long time ago to fix what you can and make the rest. lol. Thanks for watching and take care friend.
Hello there Dave. So glad to meet you via our channel. We always love to welcome new friends to Creekside. We hope you enjoy the content. Feel free to comment and ask any questions. We love to dialogue with each and everyone. We will check out your channel as well. We love all things camping and outdoors.
Thanks for watching. Glad you enjoyed the video. It sure does make plucking chickens so much faster and easier. And great to meet new friends as well. 😊
Nice Plucker. You must always support the inner race of the bearing before driving a shaft into it. The ball bearings are very easily distorted by the inner and outer races being forced offset.
Thanks so much. Love to laugh and it is a medicine for sure. The plucker definitely will be a huge asset when it's chicken time.Have great week everyone
Great build Tony. I only paid $300 for my plucker but it was worth it. You need to start a second channel and call it Tony’s Pluckin comedy show…. Haha i maid myself laugh. Cant wait to see it pluckin work in the next video. Thanks for sharing
Thanks Myke. With the exchange rate and cost of shipping here it’s definitely cheaper for me to build one. Plus its fun. The second channel just might work. Lol. It’s always good to make yourself laugh. 🤣🤣🤣
Oh wow! You are incredibly talented and creative! This is going to be an awesome plucker for you guys! How satisfying to have built it yourself. Can’t wait to see updates!
Thanks so much.It will definitely speed up the plucking process. We do approx.200 birds a year. We sell a lot of them in our Farm Market Stand. I love building stuff and having that great feeling of accomplishment . Have a great week friend. We will drop over to see what you are working on, on your channel. Take care
@@CreeksideMaplesHomestead we do meat birds twice a year also, spring and summer, so I was excited to see this. We are going live tonight if you’re around!

Hey Tony, that plucked looks very interesting. You have one creative brain, lol. Nothing like taking the whole idea and turning it into something of your own design. Keep up the good work, waiting patiently for part 2.
You had me worried there for a second... thought maybe you'd gotten into the elderberry wine. But all is good. This little plucker's going to be a work of art. Looking forward to the exciting conclusion.
Thanks Barry, lol, looking for the elderberries but haven't found any yet. lol. We are excited to use the plucker for sure. We appreciate you always watching and supporting. Thanks friend
Hope yours works better than my stepbrothers lol he made it out of an old washing machine but keep the bottom and side as one piece and the first chicken just went around and around so Brad Dad and I hand plucked 4 and put the project on hold the birds were to small. Your plucker looks nice should work nice I will try and get a video of the revamped setup in action.
These projects are always trial and error. If at first we don't succeed then try try again. hopefully all things go to plan. Have a great week. Doing any fishing?
@@CreeksideMaplesHomestead no fishing lately I only fish the rivers and this time of the year they are out on the coast and it cast and wait I get bored fishing like that I like cast and reel lures way more action how about yourself.
that is an amazing piece of Canadian ingenuity right there. I wish I had your skills Tony. My new feather plucker that I just bought was $1000 and we're going to be processing chickens for the first time. Can't wait to see yours in action. Chad.
It makes plucking chickens a whole lot faster and easier. We will raise and butcher approx.200 chickens this year and we needed to speed up the process. If I were closer to you, I would build you one. Thanks for watching and have a great week.
No problem with the questions at all. We love the comments. We have two propane burners and two big metal pots. We keep the water at 160 degrees. It works well.
Thanks for watching. The rod is 1/2 inch with matching blocks. The pulley is 10inch on the large and two inch on the small. I can’t remember the V Belt size sorry
