Well, im enamored. Not with the Plucker, but with that new KILT you were wearing. And beautiful scenery out back. So green and lush. It almost looks like you could be in West Virginia or Tennessee. Great video Y’all!
Thanks Mike. We will be filming the actual chickens being plucked in about 6 weeks. We will be uploading that video as soon as we can. Thanks for watching and have a great day.
Ooh I was reading the comments while the video was playing and started wondering why you were wearing a kilt. Now I see what they were talking about. Great video and as usual you have amazing enthusiasm. Will see you tomorrow at the livestream
Just throw a live one in there to demonstrate. LOL. No, no, no don't do that. Just my attempt at dark humour. Fantastic job on that plucker, just waiting for the video that shows it actually working with a chicken. My Mom and older sister were our chicken pluckers.
LOL. Roy, I don't think Joanie will let me throw one of the laying hens in it. If I did that she may throw me in it. lol. We wanted to film the plucker working with an actual chicken in it, but the weather did not cooperate at all.
New Sub.👍 Hello I'm Eddie from Poorboys' Little Home Stead. I came over from Bake a Leg and Let's Dig it Live tonight. enjoyed this video, great job! Drop in say Hello sometime. God Bless!

Thanks for watching Joseph. We will be posting another video with it actually plucking a chicken. We have some meat birds growing now and will be ready to butcher in about 6 weeks.
looks great Tony my stepson Brad built one but had everything turning and Trevor said that yours had just the bottom turning they tryed a couple birds but didn't work so good I sent him your video when you built yours part#1 and he remodeled it his birds has to grow a little more good job on the plucker thanks for sharing have a great night
Thanks for watching Tom. It works great for the chickens. We will do an update in about 6 weeks with it actually plucking a chicken. The bottom plate turning with stationary sides works great. Take care.
Hello New Subscriber Here! Coming over from @A Fishes & Loaves livestream. Looking forward to watching your videos. Watching from South Carolina 👍🏻🙌🏻🙏🏻😇☀️☀️
Awesome!! Thanks so much. South Carolina is a beautiful place. We appreciate the support and look forward to getting acquainted. We hope you enjoy our channel. Take care and God bless. 😊
I can put two chickens in at the same time and they take about 45 seconds to be done. It works really well. The good part is I have about 150.00 dollars in the entire build.
@@CreeksideMaplesHomestead thats awesome. I have more money in mine for sure. I can put 2 birds in as long as they aren’t to big. But I believe to 7 pounders would be to big
Great work. I was already wondering, how fedders should come beneath the rotating plate. How did you get the space between there? Is the white plate beneath the rotating plate not round but at the point of the fedder/water outfall a little wider?
I simply just measured and dry fitted to make sure I had enough spin room to eject the feathers. It works pretty well. Thanks for watching and have a great weekend
Normally they recommend a 1.5" to 2.5" pulley on the motor.. or a 1-10 ratio.. How is that 4" gear treating you? Because that is what is on the motor I am going to use on my build right now.. and if it works I won't need to get a new pulley.. I'll be running a 15" pulley on the shaft and 4" on the motor.
now that is a real MUTHER PLUCKER. great job.....jim in central florida
LOL. It is for sure Mr. Jim. It will pluck the feathers clean off in just a few seconds.
Have a great day, appreciate you sir.
You can totally pull off a kilt Tony 😂🤣😂 Plucker is on another level. Came out great. 💜💜💜✌
Thanks Elizabeth. I'm not sure if I will go to the kilt full time or not. 😂
@@CreeksideMaplesHomestead 🤣😂

Thanks Jesse and Lisa. You like my kilt eh ? You should try one on.😂 The grass grows here like crazy. takes two days to mow everything and weed whack

Nice work! Makes life easier.

Great video tony

He could most definitely pull of the “Kilt” look Karene!!!
@@mrs.creeksidemaples2866 I do believe so. He has the right attitude too! 😁
Brandon from Rustic Wood Work and Family should show that mean rooster of his a chicken plucker and tell him to straighten up or else!!😂
We can deal with a mean rooster for sure. It will make short work of him. Thanks for watching Sam.
Great project Tony! 👍 love the vids! Keep the great content coming buddy! Cheers 🍻

Great project 👍 good job Tony
Thanks so much and we will be using it very soon

Thanks guys. How are things going on the new property?
Very cool. Do you guys plan on making a video of the chicken harvest day? Would be awesome to see it working.
Hey bud. Thanks for watching. We do plan on making another video when we process the chickens. Hope all is well there with the fam.
You ought to patent your Pleasant Plucker…👍
Thats a great idea. I would like to make a few more and sell them. Thanks for watching. Have a great day🙂
Totally agree with a Patent!!!
Great video Tony how many chickens do you think you can do at one time if they’re around 7 pounds?

I would definitely upgrade the motor to a 1 or a 1.5. I’m actually going to a 1.5. The 4 inch works great. Thanks for watching and good luck
WTF? Part3? Will a chicken ever get plucked.
This is Part 2,,lol. And yes chickens got plucked.
