2:50:00 since chat refuses to elaborate: just hold Y, then the left corner will show the four items in your pouch, the summon is a reasonable thing to have in there but way more important is to put your torrent whistle there so you can just Y+up or sth to mount instead of clumsily cycling through your toolbelt and inevitably forgetting to reset to your health flask for the next fight. Ngl I'm kind of annoyed by chat rn
2:18:00 if you don't use your shield anyways you should consider taking your katana in both hands (hold Y and press RB) you can also take the armament in your left hand in both hands (hold Y and press LB)
First time using a controller while first time playing a souls game is actually insane lmao it’s honestly incredible how well you’re doing compared to others who’ve used a controller all their life 😂
By the end of this video or maybe your next video you might have figured these things out but my lord I can’t go to bed until I point these out 1. A minor one, “Touch blood stains” what that does is it lets you see how other players died, you’re meant to watch the holograms of the players. it’s not a big deal, its something you can ignore through out the game if you want, I’m only pointing it out because each time you clicked on it you proceeded to look away before the player’s holograms did anything 😭😭 2. Never skim over instructions or dialogue,it’ll always leave you confused, in the tutorial area it shows you instructions on two handing a weapon (which increases your damage by %50 but you missed it because you skimmed and assumed they were only talking about weapon switching 😭 3. Always lock on 4. Feel free to explore, if you go straight to missions it’ll be rough, exploring helps with upgrades and discovering cool items and characters 5 . Your starting weapons aren’t shity at all, they are really good in fact. Regardless it’s been a fun watch so far. The fight against the soldier of Godrick was both epic and hilarious
@@darkgenesis342 this is so helpful! Thank you! I have a lot to learn and manage with both enjoying and streaming this game. So I appreciate you taking the time to suggest these tips

You may figure this out by the end of the second video (or maybe this one as I haven't quite finished it yet) but I found it easier to put my potions and my spectral steed whistle in my pouch and use it from there instead of putting them in the quick items. It requires you to push and hold an extra button and then press the button on the d pad to use which item you wanted but it worked better for me.
