Cheers mate I appreciate it! that’s what I’m worried about it could be being, Hopefully it’s not. The motor was a good running engine when it was pulled out when I bought it years ago. It’s from a vn calais and the electrics went so it got parted out, back when they weren’t worth much. So the heads should be good they pretty much had everything done to them that was needed.

Need to do a pressure test on the wagon mate. Water in the oil during winter is pretty normal from condensation when sitting around mine always does it. The miss fire is a worry tho.

I’m used to the cap having a bit of moisture in it. That’s fairly common with 5 litres. But this was milky milky. It’s been through the motor. I’m fairly confident that it’s the head gasket. Misfire is definitely a worry, hopefully it’s not something serious. But most the top end will come apart so if a valves not seating or burnt we’ll be able to tell. Hopefully it hasn’t wiped a lobe. Then again. That means I’m allowed to go bigger doesn’t it?

Certainly does. Yea moisture under the cap is normal. All of mine are milky on the dipstick during winter until I take em for a spin. I change my oils every spring once the condensation stops

Just looking at your oil it looks grey I don’t know if it’s the camera or the lighting if that’s the case you might have a bad bearing as well head gaskets on those engines are quite easy to change out you could probably do it for $100 Pull the heads off, it definitely needs work

It does look somewhat grey rewatching the video again, I hope it’s just the lighting in the shed that’s making it that way, That engines got 3000 kms on it at best.

@@V8JakeC A malfunctioning spraygun is insanely frustrating. Especially when you have start again!
