[MXD 2022] Zahina Round 1 (Straight Ahead) RUSHED

Story
After returning home from the auditions Zahina’s father speaks to the Iqbal elders concerning her actions. Meanwhile, Zahina takes the opportunity to speak with her brother (didn’t get a chance to edit out his jewelry). As usual, he has nothing but harsh words for her. In the morning, it’s decided to let Zahina participate if she is called to avoid confrontation with the village elders. After reading her journal, Zahina and her family (excluding her brother) head out to the forest entrance. After hearing her name called, her father distances himself from her so she won’t look weak in front of the tributes. While collecting a few things in the square, Zahina runs into her childhood, Hassan. While “she” has not talked to him in a while her other self certainly has. Zahina is taken aback by his embrace and affection as this is not the norm. Once in the forest, she looks for Finn as he was a person of interest for Shahrazad. However, almost as soon as they start talking, she is greeted by three mysterious girls beckoning for her to come to find them. Even more so she hears her sister’s lullaby as it drowns out Finn’s screams. Although the one singing is not her sister.

Zahina, don't fall for it, it's just a hallucination.. stay on the path and stay with the others. Find a long piece of vine that helps you and the others stick together if you have to. And please don't die. I'm cheering for you to win this year

In short, he blames her for killing their mom. She died after giving birth to Zahina. He also does like the fact that she’s the favorite. Or at least that’s how he sees it.
