Sanctuary Audition - Kaulua Logger

Finally DONE!
I really enjoyed making this. Thought I was not going to get this done. The video is rushed so it's rough around the edges literally lol.

Story:
Kaulua has always been close to her family. Even though Kaulua talks to her siblings all the time, there is nothing like seeing them in person.
While she’s a Desultories, she lives with her father and stepmother and often beta tests her father's motorcycles. The day before Harvest Day Kaulua and her siblings plan to big this year. TiaMara got her eye color recently and, and Hynakin has something to share. While visiting her friend Terra they talk about what happened 6 years ago. Terra has never fully trusted the city, and some of that has rubbed off on Kaulua. Though since Ginis her brother is a Companion she tries to not bring any questions up around him.
On Harvest Day, she sees the new Companion and is not too impressed. After the ceremony, she meets up with her siblings and mother and hears Hynakin that he’s engaged to his feunic Nick. It starts to sink in that her family will drift apart with time. As she remains a Desultory she feels like she is being left behind. She isn’t wrong. As evening grows Kaulua and Ginis talk one on one. Ginis ensures her that they will always be family.
Later that night Kaulua has a strange nightmare and wakes up to what she assumes is a migraine. Her parents notice that she’s up and check on her. After seeing her, Roze “offers” to get her some tea for the migraine. While waiting she gets a mysterious message telling her to run. She also notices her parents are acting weird.
While pretending to go to the restroom she overhears Roze talking to Ginis and other Companions. She makes a run for it when she hears Ginis call her a Mutt. She’s confused by the situation until she sees her reflection. Now she knows what’s going on. She’s then approached by someone. She later hides in a warehouse trying to figure out what to do now, but she also seems to be surrounded by Companions earlier.
Masks were all done by me because apparently, I like to torture myself.

OMG THIS WAS AMAZING!🤩🤩🤩 The masking is flawless and the colors are so nice and easy on the eyes. I love kaulau. She gives off this feeling of 'not caring' but also of like caring alot. Mixed feelings indeed. 😅

This looks great! All the coloring was done super well and that headswap at the beginning looked seamless! I really liked the vibes of your character and this video. Like, it felt more relaxed, and I don't think that took away from the overall tone. If anything, it enhanced it. Kaulau is so chill, not realizing she's in serious trouble, and I felt that tension. Good luck! Hope to see more!

I love seeing her family be so close and loving during the celebration and on calls - and they still sold her out!!! Stuff like that is always so interesting, how is she gonna handle knowing her parents were ready to just give her up like that? Even if she was willing to offer herself up as well?
