- RE-BUILD N43 Motor SERIES Part 15
- BMW E91 2008 Touring with engine N43B20A
- Renew gaskets for the cylinder head cover
- Position cylinder head cover and tighten all bolts with 10 Nm torque
- Install fuel injectors
- Install High fuel pressure pump
- Connect fuel pressure line and feed line
- Install fuel lines

how do you suggest to replace EGR on this engine? i find it very tight behind engine. What need to be removed? perfect work BTW! you are my role model. wish i can be so handy and precise
how did you install both injector bracket plates that easily? I have spent a lot of time fiddling with it ;) great skill! 👍

Hi Jani what torque was the bolts for the clamp for injectors.

This engine repair parts cost me around 1300 € + new clutch parts; flywheel and clutch plates etc. 800 euro.
Camshaft head cover. N43 engine is the prototype of N46.
how many nm did you tighten the lid on?
Is there a different between the N43b16?

Is there a oil cap revision out?
Hey! What do you mean? I replaced the new oil cap in this video because the seal may start to leak on these as well. Appearance slightly different from what the original.

Yep, it's not an OEM oil cap
great video , Janni, I have E61 520i, has the same N43B20A engine, do you know where is the CCV valve or crankcase breather? how to replace it? I have some high noise after 10 mins driving, i guess maybe the cranbcase breather maybe the problem , but I dont know where it is , how it looks like. this is my video link .

Crankcase ventilation valve is part of the valve cover. Part 11127553626. Valve cover has to be replaced or you can try to go this way: vanos-bmw.com/product/valve-cover-n43-bmw-11127553626
But hard to say where that voice will come from in your case.
@@JaniVoutilainen hi Jani, I did more test on the car, there maybe a problem with the PCV valve , do you know how to replace this valve or the membrance with out replace the whole valve cover? I would like to do it myself.
