Very nice looking truck. We will see in 4-5 years how the turbo and other things hold up. The new Tundra has had engine failures due to bad bearings then turbo issues now transmission recall.
The interesting thing is the sequoia isn't having such issues( them having the same base) I think the tacoma will fare better since the 2.4 has been out since 22.
Keeping the solar 23 Tacoma Pro for years to come , just can’t get on board with the 4 banger , we will see 2-3 years down the road how the 4 cylinder holds up !
Pricing of new vehicles is just insane….the Tacoma is almost Tundra Limited money a few years ago. Maybe I am just old but I can’t get use to or justify paying these prices. I have a 2014 Tundra and will drive the 5.7 V8 till I hit 300K miles
Sorry, but for that price tag, hell no to buying that overpriced Tacoma. Do not get me wrong, I love the exterior design, I like the powertrain. But I hate the excessive pricing, the cheap plastics, and the fact that it is built in Mexico. Although the only concern I have with that is the fit and finish, which you can check during the inspection and opt for another one that is put together much better if there are some concerns.
Toyota hit a home run with the redesign. They need to get those people on the Tundra team to change the front end

Looks like the transmission issue is a software fix.
I think the turbo and engine failures were mainly on the 2022 models. Please correct me if I’m wrong. Thank you
@@willito1211 I think you’re right. It was a waste gate issue if I recall.

@@mad-meh2719 did the sequoia get the twin turbo v6 in 2022 like the tundra?
Love the videos! What trim would you purchase?
Thanks brother. I’d choose the Sport over the TRD Off Road… but the Trailhunter over all I think.

Can’t go wrong keeping the naturally aspirated V6 👌 💯
By April 2024--Where will Toyota be a MSRP Sale--At or Below????
I’d argue most dealers will be selling Tacomas at sticker no problem by late spring.
@@untamedreviewsim very curious what they are used.
@@jameskocks4734 most dealers will likely slap a CPO on them and charge a little more than the sticker for the first year.
This is my truck, except I have the 6 speed manual and added the Predator side boards and upgraded the tires to more aggressive off-road look.
The color is a special color so it added to the price.
Could it be the COLOR--That people don't jump on right away???? Plus interest rate???
Definitely factors here 👌
People forget that all of the manufacturers are being forced into going to smaller motors by the government for lower emissions.

Agreed. Prices have gotten out of hand… That 5.7L V8 will last 👍
Love the new body style, love the interior, just can’t get past the 4 cylinder and the big price Untamed
Yeah definitely a plastic-filled interior… but I like it. Would like it a little more for $42K
@@untamedreviews Definitely 💯 40k-42K is more like it
Good looking truck on the exterior but the interior looks like a plastic bucket from harbor freight!🤮
Haha yeah definitely could benefit from a few more upgraded finishes in there 👌

Its overpriced!
agreed but they will still sell like hotcakes I bet. Great redesign.
