- My attempt to realistically predict the next six fighters for Super Smash Bros. Ultimate Fighters Pass Volume 2 DLC! This prediction video will attempt to decipher the next DLC smash ultimate characters based on 0% evidence. Now that Byleth from Fire Emblem: Three Houses was revealed as the final fighter for Fighters Pass 1, I like to think that we got a good reality check in the way Sakurai and Nintendo pick their fighters. In that, they do not give a single &%*@ about what anybody thinks and will happily choose fighters if it suits their business interests. Byleth was the perfect candidtate with the success of Fire Emblem: Three Houses on the Nintendo Switch. His inclusion was inevitable, we were simply in denial.
So who could the next six newcomers be for Fighters Pass Volume 2?
Dante, Sora, Geno, Steve from Minecraft, Travis, Rayman, Monster Hunter, Viewtiful Joe, Ryu Hayabusa, Crash Bandicoot, Heihachi, Spyro, Master Chief, Shantae or another Fire Emblem character? Who knows! So let's speculate and try to predict the next six fighters for Smash Ultimate Fighters Pass Volume 2!

Adding another FE rep is unrealistic. We already got the player avatar from the latest title, so there's logically no need for another Fire Emblem character.

I can see steve being a mii costume and master chief is practically nonexistent outside of the U.S. so there would probably be some backlash from Japanese fans but I agree with the rest of your list
I would like Tracer or any Overwatch character.
But on the subject of being realistic, you made a big mistake. Overwatch is NOT an Activision game. It was made by Blizzard. Meaning if we do get Tracer, we could still get Spyro or Crash.
Tracer would likely be very unique, but I don't think it'll ever happen unfortunately.

The other 3 I have no idea.
I highly doubt we're getting Rayman, if he were to get in I feel as tho Altair and the Rabbids costumes would have been released along side him. Also adding costumes means nothing seeing as we already have his spirit in Ultimate.
Also I said Ryu and Crash because these are two characters that have been often mentioned by credible leaks.
I think ubisoft gets nothing tbh?

This list is so wrong but Travis does makes sense. I'd like to have a poll for all fighters pass predictors to vote for if Sakurai/Nintendo can get any video game character he/they wants in? I would expect both Geno and Sora to come in Ultimate because this is Sakurai he is that guy that tries to get you the things you want for christmas. I had never heard any rumors of activision and nintendo working together but I'm doing my research and I've found a petition for him and a lucky predictor who guessed byleth saying he will be shown next (at least around E3). Sylux would be interesting though and it very depends really! Sakurai was likely teasing Pyra and Rex when he said 1 or 2 fighters that did not got to smash honestly I feel like they were almost done finishing up with them but had to release the game on time but now they're done with them ready to show them off as DLC. Not that many people requested for Jin to be honest like on the scale of Dante and Monster Hunter but if you ask me I feel like Monster Hunter makes the most sense since Rathalos. Lowkey we're not getting a bravely default character thats a hell no (no offense) because Sakurai loves Geno been wanting to add him in and Geno is more than a Square Enix Rep he is the final retro character like King K Rool, Ridley, and Banjo. Adol really interesting character really depends if Nintendo going to drop by and request him but nobody asked for him though if I can remember.

Sora is the most requested character of Ultimate. Whatever happens down the dlc fighters line I believe that Sakurai would drop Sora as the final fighter for smash. I think I had a dream were he actually dropped both Square Enix Reps Geno and Sora together like before Ultimate came out and revealing characters.
@@Sean-yn4cu Alright let me start with bravely default the main reason i see that getting added is because so far its been exclusive to Nintendo devices, its the most Nintendo Square thing i can think of, when coming up with the list i dident take how the commuity felt into consideration, Geno and Sora have been requested for ages now, both have issues getting in Sora has connections to disney which makes him tricky to do justice (not impossible). With Geno i just see him being a Mii costume its easier. But don't get me wrong no complaints if they do get in, i just dont take fan demand too seriously (look at byleth, did people really demand him?). As for Jin i'm unsure but i feel we are getting a new fighting rep either from tekken or dead or alive. I also agree with Sylux being used to promote prime 4 (i think it could be a byleth scenario). Final thing i'm gonna say is smash is used to promote characters, so if they are not reconsiable like Adol it would put them on the map so to say (i never even heard of SNK till smash personally).
I honestly don't see either a Gen 8 Pokemon or another Fire Emblem character happening (at least in this Pass) for two reasons:
1. They already did a Spirit Event centered around Sword and Shield, and I feel like if someone like Rillaboom was planned for Vol. 2, then they wouldn't of done that, especially since Three Houses didn't get a Spirit Event (despite other recent games getting one), and then it turns out because Byleth was Challenger Pack 5.
2. Unless they're already planning the next Fire Emblem game and are far enough along that Sakurai can make a potential moveset out of the Avatar character, then I severely doubt this Pass will have a second Fire Emblem rep because Sakurai straight-up stated in the showcase for Byleth that they already selected who the next six fighters will be, so unless Nintendo's secretly that far along in development for the next game in the series, I don't see that happening.
Other than that, this was an okay list; aside from Rayman (who I'm not sure counts right now considering he already has a Spirit in the game), I honestly don't care that much for the others mentioned (particularly Heihachi), but as long as they have unique movesets, I'd be cool with them!
Personally, though, I'd like to see the likes of Sora, Spyro, Bandana Dee, and Crash get in.
Honestly instead tekken, I would love to see akuma. Ik we already have 2 street fighters but akuma’s my fav character.

Ooh I was thinking if heihachi was put in I could see how the trailer reveal would go down so it’s in either the boxing ring or the fatal fury area and you ryu, ken and terry fighting each other to see who’s the best and then all of a sudden the lights went out and the screen shows heihachi symbol and he appears on the stage out of no where and starts fighting them. (Gameplay footage is shown) when all odds fails you see heihachi using his final smash ( insert final smash here) and then at the end show ryu, ken and terry on the floor defeat while heihachi wins the belt or cup depends on what stage they use.

Discussing what activision rep activision rep is one thing, but when you account for the fact Nintendo is the one asking, crash seems like to more likely pick.
What if the pokemon rep is Urshifu from the dlc and his down b changes his stance and gives him a different moveset.
Cool list! Frankly, I do NOT understand why people think Travis touchdown has a chance. Both of his games were commercial failures, and he would just be another sword character (lol). I don’t understand how a third game is in the works. But whatever lol.

I’d be all up for Kazuya and another FE character. I’ve been wanting a Tekken rep for a while, and it’s good to see more Fire Emblem, no joke.
Main thing I feel nobody talks about when it comes to Rayman is that his last game did not sell in Japan in the slightest. Japan knows what Assassin's Creed and Rabbids are, but adding in a mii costume for Rayman alongside them makes no sense when it wouldn't sell well in the first place.

@@LUCKYRiCK sakurai did say Ubisoft made the trophy themselves specifically for smash so they were involved. Also sakurai once said he considers assist trophies to be a big honor so trophies/spirits has to be something to him
ObeseROB Still suspicious why do Rabbids & Assasins Creed get a mii costume but not Rayman? Rayman is ubisofts maskot.. So his choice does make sense and it is kinda suspicious im sure if they did not plan out Rayman to be playable he would at least get a mii costume. Makes sense right?

@Dominic J Keep in mind the DLC pack 2 already had its characters planned before the backlash and outrage, so the choices won't be effected with what happened after byleth's reveal.

My predicaments : are Rayman, Dr.Eggman, Steve, Crash Bandicoot, Zero , and ( bedt one for last) Shadow the hedgehog.
My only realistic prediction for Fighters Pass Vol. 2 is a Koei Tecmo character, most likely Ryu Hayabusa. No one realistically predicted a SNK character for the first Fighters Pass because everyone was too narrow-minded to think outside of the box of the big Japanese third parties and big Western third parties like Activision, Ubisoft, Bethesda, etc. It's also about time Koei Tecmo got a playable character; Fire Emblem: Three Houses has them to thank for its creation and success.
Dude, even Activision said in a Streaming for Crash N Sane Trilogy that they would LOVE to see Crash Bandicoot in Smash. It would be more probable that Crash is the fighter and Tracer and Spyro would be mii fighters
King K-azooie Jeff Kaplan (the lead designer of overwatch and the Vice President of Blizzard) said he would love to see Tracer in Smash. Plus Blizzard and Nintendo have shown to work well with each other in the past like when diablo 3 got a special edition version of the switch and Reggie even doing a little skit to promote the game.
You can tell someone isn't a fan or know jack shit about FE when they keep assisting that somehow another FE character is gonna be in the pass

I know people really want Bandana Dee and Shantae and have nothing against them getting in as playable. I also would probably want a new Pokemon Character, just none really announced so far, and we could use more Pokeball Pokemon. I don't have anything against Crash or Spyro either, although I still feel like we should get more Assist Trophies and Skylanders should be one/some of them. Also I reserve the right to change my mind if we get a really cool new Nintendo IP. I also am not against some clones sold on the side like Dixie Kong (as a donkey kong clone with a variant of diddy's pop gun), maybe Morepeko? Kubfu? Zerora?

We need a fully evolved solo grass type starter Pokémon rillaboom can make it and back in 2019 deciueye was about to be pick as gen 7 rep means we almost about to get a fully evolved solo grass type starter Pokémon but deciueye got canned and sakurai pick incinaroar due to incinaroar having a fighting style moveset of a pro wrestler.
I think Urshifu from the new Pokémon DLC is a more realistic choice than Rillaboom because realistically they don’t care about the Pokémon typing at all, and they should be trying to promote the DLC

I really don't think they'll go with Rillaboom, being a monkey and using a drum, which DK already does... If they go Pokemon, I think they're going to do a different one from Sword & Shield or possibly a new one from the expansions to those games. I'd personally like to see Urshifu. I mean he just looks like they made him with plans to put him in Smash.

If you havent noticed Donkey Kong used to use the drums in Brawl. TBH I think it is gay to get another donkey kong (rillaboom) and give him drums and I wonder if Sakurai think that is gay too? But knowing him he would maybe add him considering the idk the links?! I feel like Nintendo was taking the calls for fighters pass 1 so they made the decision for that and Sakurai looked at who is on the polls too. Heihachi might happen but Idk. Overwatch will not happen likely I think thats for fighter pass 3 to decide. Come on dude Fire Emblem fighters will come not in the fighters pass 2 likely in Fighters pass 3 due to another rumored Fire Emblem game coming out.
Good point. Have no idea how they'd make this amiibo though they could always have translucent appendages between parts of his body. They've done that for a few amiibos.

This prediction feels less realistic than you make it out to be because it doesn't address spirits (base game and post-launch events) and post-launch Mii Costumes (new and returning ones) as deconfirmations, meaning Rayman (base game spirit), Heihachi (returning Mii costume), and Rillaboom (SwSh spirit event) are out of the running. Nintendo also wouldn't want to promote Overwatch again after the whole controversy Blizzard had regarding the Hong Kong protest, so Tracer is likely out too. A realistic prediction should something like this (while adding characters from my own realistic prediction):
1. Master Chief (Iconic, Nintendo and Microsoft being buddies, rumors of the Master Chief Collection coming to Switch)
2. Travis Touchdown (Marvelous owning the IP and now credited in Smash for its Daemon X Machina spirits)
3. Sol Badguy (ArcSys owning the IP and now credited in Smash for the recent River City Ransom spirits, where we'll likely see the return of the Heihachi Mii costume from Smash 4)
4. Crash Bandicoot (Iconic, more popular in Japan than Spyro)
5. Ring Fit Protagonist (New successful Nintendo IP, female character, fire ring makes her stand out from Wii Fit Trainer)
6. Lara Croft (Iconic, female character, adds the number of Square reps up to 3)

I don't believe it deconfirms though. It's not like he was a spirit that was introduced recently.

I'm sorry but I think the truly only realistic one is a pokemon rep (not sure it will be Rillaboom) but yet again I'm the kind of guy that cannot see any probable characters for the second fighters pass. It's not like there are no character I would like, I think I'm very easy to satisfy, but Almost every character I think of, I see much more reason he will not be in the game than reason he will be in so yeah.
If you wan't my realistics prediction, that I don't even think is realistic but is the most realistic one I have it would be in order of probability of getting the character: pokemon rep for sword and shield which I consider almost guarantee, travis , Another microsoft rep (steve or master chief maybe) but it's already in the part of my prediction I think is not so realistic, Lara croft (or another square enix rep (...Sora...) but I think Lara would be a great addition in a video game museum point of view since she is miss video game, but i don't see her gameplay very well, and yeah not so realistic) and hum... the other two I actually think there are more cons than pros so It would be stupid to call them realistic (in my thoughts) Ryu hayabusa of ninja gaiden and Rayman ( only because of the mii costume but in the same way if they have planned to make rayman they would have kept them for the release of Rayman so... yeah not realistic)

This is hardly a realistic list.
- Rayman is a Spirit and his series is damn near obscure in Japan
- No chance will Tracer get in over Crash. Overwatch being super popular doesn't mean it'll get a rep. Going by that logic we could get a Fortnite character.
- Pokemon Sword & Shield already had a Spirit event making the chances of receiving a playable rep unlikely. No Fighters Pass character so far had content from their games in Ultimate before their release.
- We're not getting another Fire Emblem character. Byleth was added in solely to promote Three Houses. Another Fire Emblem game won't be coming out anytime soon and the roster for Fighters Pass 2 has already been decided.
- The December 2021 state is a placeholder. We could get all six characters long before then.
- Ryu Hayabusa and Dante have a real good chance of making it especially Dante giving how much Capcom is trying to push his series on the Switch.
My list would be:
- Jill Valentine.
- Travis Touchdown, for sure (we really need him sitting on the toilet as a win animation).
- Liquid Snake (we have Solid and no "Brotherrr!!!" of his ? Yeah, sure.)
- Bill Rizer/Lance Bean ("Contra").
- Earthworm Jim.

As much as I want another woman on the roster, I can’t really get behind Activision Blizzard getting a rep (why not Arle or 2B instead). Obviously this also extends to Crash & Spyro. Also, Sword/Shield wouldn’t have gotten a spirit event if a Gen 8 rep was coming in Vol. 2. And I can’t see us getting another mainline FE game before the end of 2021.
As gross as Activision Blizzard has been, I doubt Nintendo cares enough to keep them out of the game. Like Nintendo will vague-point out the flaws of other game companies (e.g. Doug Bowser talking about the issues the industry has with crunch time), but that never really stops them from working with those companies.
Will people be mad at an Activision Blizzard character getting in? Absolutely (though probably less so for Crash or Spyro, b/c people don't seem to associate them with the company as much). But this isn't a list of what Skuxx thinks will make everyone happy, it's what he thinks are "realistic" picks for Nintendo.
And yeah I seriously doubt Skuxx is right about us getting another mainline FE game by the end of 2021. Maybe a remake in the vein of Shadows of Valentia, but not a new mainline title.
