  • Today, Lou and Kit took over. He has wanted to try CRO505 on his 1989 Buick Reatta ever since we did the test on my Ford F150. Will it do anything, or is this engine just too tired for this oil treatment to make an impact. Place your bets now, folks.

Check Engine Light, Engine RPM Goes to Zero and back up to normal: Change the Crank Shaft Sensor

That's on the list. We'll be changing the spark plugs, crank shaft sensor, oxygen sensor, replacing the exhaust system, and a whole bunch of other things. Unfortunately it's in line behind the Buick Regal, F150 Clutch, and other items.

The oil coming out after treatment looked pretty clean to me. I expected it to be black.

I did too, tbh. It was darker, but it didn't look too bad.

Buick's do suck. Scotty ran his for 15 minutes at 2000 RPMS. I would have personally ran a quart through it, before putting on a filter and topping off the oil. I've kept my vehicles on synthetic oil and now over 100,000 miles, I run high mileage oil. Mine still runs like new cars.
