Hello Chantz and Craig. Welcome to Life in Auckland. Love your episodes but why did you swallow the pill and leave the north and move to the city? I’m from Whangarei and left in 87…yes better opportunities and life but your vids used to make me So homesick. Paxton and I even took and excursion out to the Poor Knights last year just so I could scratch my itch (my north itch). My family still live up there and the deceased are in Maunu Park Cemetery. You 2 are just adorable …love tuning in…It’s always a Happy Day when I listen to those lovely accents and see your smiling faces. Hope you are happy. Off to Los Angeles tomorrow for work (occupational hazard) but no complaints. Respectfully. Beau ❤
Hi Beau, thanks for your comment :) Poor Knights! Unfortunately we never had an opportunity to go, but now we have a great reason to go back north! We really enjoyed our time in the north and tried to make the most of all the beauty, but it was time for some city vibes! Whangarei was just a bit too quiet for us at this stage of our lives. But we're really grateful for all we got to see and do in Northland...Whale Bay was our absolute favourite! Thanks so much for watching our videos and we hope you had safe travels to LA!

I’ve lived in Auckland 25 years since we moved to NZ. People give Auckland a bad wrap however besides the rain and traffic it’s pretty nice and has everything. It also has fringe suburbs to the north, west and south that are affordable and you can have a country lifestyle with the benefits of city living. If you can’t afford central city living get a place near the rail network. I am bias but west Auckland has great options (Hobsonville, new Lynn, te Atatu ect).
Happy, Happy, Happy, and more. Yes, that is it. The excitement is always overwhelming when something new pops up. The Africa Day was spectacular, you can just feel the vibe, lovely to see Africa in NZ, Gin, and Tonic, this is life, freedom., enjoy it you 2. Greetings from Thailand.

Thanks Sara 😊 The rentals in our old area didn’t have fridges, so we bought one. It seems like most places in the city have fridges, but we asked the owner if we could rather bring ours 😅
