I do inspections at BMW spartanburg south Carolina. I'm actually employed by magna mirrors and we make the sideview mirrors for BMW. We only make the BMW SUV's in the spartanburg sc location. No sedans. These cars are absolutely beautiful coming down the line .
I cannot even imagine either, would probably look super nice with a smaller grill. I mean come on thats just absurdly big contrast for the sleek headlights. Kinda like duckface botox lips on an otherwise perfect girl :) Edit: Ok maybe if they used a black chrome grill it would actually be really good.
13:50 that's typical Autobahn Germany, driving 185 while a car is in front of you driving the same speed and a car on the right doing 160. It's impossible to see that in any other country.
Alpina doesn't say don't use the shifters, they just think the buttons work well. They were the first to offer self-shifting from the steering wheel on BMWs. Besides, nowadays you have the option to select the normal BMW paddles. It's your choice, whichever you prefer.
Really nice car with suprisingly nice sound. Normaly i don't like the sound of the 4l v8biturbo from audi/merc or this 4.4l biturbo. Alpina did really well.
Even if Max were to review the W12 Touareg today, people on the internet would still say that he should have tested some other car, with some other engine, with some other gearbox, etc, etc, etc... This is the consistent and persistent phenomenon on the comments of each and every car review video, including this one.
....all good...but...owners of Alpina company never wanted make cars like SUVs....market demand has been pushing them....and profit margin is what decides...so they do their best.... the exhaust note is ridiculously stupid for such majestic cruiser...should be silent like purring cat...

2022 xb7 probably best SUV in the market even in 2024 for it's money much better than GLS the only thing abt them they need to change DASHBOARD design & change leather to Alcantara

Nah sorry, it sort of/kind of works on the X7, but the 4-Series and M3 both look absolutely horrible, even in real life.

saw a few in real life. They're really huge, and they do look great with the big kidney grills. Cant imagine a small grill on a car like this.

Love the platform of this XB7, and the engine to front axle placement, as well as the uncommon front wheel well vents.

I was going to say the same thing. He needs to use a camera that does NOT have a wide angle lens. This lens is distorting the image big time.
