If the Octavia is a Diesel, it will probably overtake the Alpina at the next gas station. Shame Alpina doesn't increase the size of the relatively small stock-BMW tanks.
@@mchockney3664 agreed...30years ago on Alpinas was optional enlarged fuel tank...for example on E34 B10 5series it was normal to have 90litre tank instead of serial 5series 70litre tank...and there was option for enlarged 110litre ☝️

Agree with you, especially this Alpina Green, it's so dark and deep. I'll take this exact spec of B8 (but with silver wheels) and then a Porsche 992(Carerra 4S or Turbo S, not picky lol) in Irish Green over Heritage Design Cognac leather 👌

I would really miss the M1/M2 buttons from the steering wheel, and the gear shifter from M. Other than that, looks like the perfect car: lot of power, comfort, good looking.
I’ve always liked the Alpina BMWs. Demonstrably faster than the spec sheet implies and blessedly free of the fanboy wacky plastic tacked on with no regard for styling. Alpina not only does a better BMW, they undo the bad BMW. Someone sure has to.

I like this car but you can find a used M850i for $65k wit less that 40k miles right now. Intakes, downpipe, and 93 tune, it’ll make 620+AWHP and 640+ AWT. To do all that you’ll probably spend $72k-$75k for the car, mods, and tune. $75k for a 620AWHP 640AWT used M850i wit less than 40k miles or $150k for a stock B8 Alpina is kind of a no brainer. Pretty much paying for the Alpina badges at this point. Might as well lease it tbh.

BMW Verde Ermes and Aston Martin Racing Green (not 1959 Racing Green) also quite attractive.
