Many years ago I filmed a project that was lit with 'Inky Dinks' (Fresnels), which were incredible for throwing pools and spots of very atmospheric light. I've been looking for something modern that could achieve that same effect and, from what I'm looking at here, the Lume Cube 2.0 set seems to come close to what I'm looking for.

I have the panel Mini and find it very useful to help light my face during livestreams. And I have used the Luma cube before to help light a dark room during a video. Thanks for your tips to get better lighting from your Lumacube products.

Thanks for this video. If the back wall is further away, how far does the light throw ?

That is a really nice light set.Can you set the light to different colors for like mood lighting? The umbrella idea makes the scene for me.Great video!!

Great question! The Panel Pro can have the colors change in the light. The Lume Cubes can have their colors changed if you add physical colored filters.

Hi Suzi! Have you tried the Lume Cube Studio Pro? Have you considered a tutorial on this setup? It has 2 lights and could substitute for large softboxes in a limited space. It's something I am considering for my small studio space.

You once made a video about Litra Torch, which is similar to Lume Cube. Why did you swap brands? Be interesting to hear your comparison thoughts.

Good question. It comes down to the light modifiers being better for LumeCube, at least IMO. I'll add this to the video topics list.

@@Gemini_Connect Making a comparison video is a good idea. The Litra Torch 2 also has some great accessories - in particular a bracket for lighting with a 360 camera, a softbox, and that magnetic ability is gold. On the other hand the Lume Cube snoot is at least gold, maybe platinum :) Love the snoot. And then there is battery life. And then the Litra Torch fits in GoPro Session frames. Lots to be said for (and against) both light systems.
