I always thought Tim was from a broken home. He’s teaching us things not even he understands, like not having a family etc. Good on him for understanding us even though he never went through what we did. 🇺🇸 But I do think someone who went through we do would be even better. We need someone like Tim who has actually been through CPTSD-not “my parents worked a lot” but “my parents beat me didn’t feed me” type.
Here's two other youtube channels from individuals who have CPTSD & helping others. Patrick is a LCISW ua-cam.com/channels/bWvYupGqq3aMJ6LsG4q-Yg.html & Anna healed her own CPTSD who developed a system to help others willing to try it out ua-cam.com/users/CrappyChildhoodFairy. Happy Healing!
I don’t really think that would make a difference, he has a unique delivery and I can relate to everything. I was physically well taken care of in terms of food and shelter, but I got beaten until I was teenager and had to navigate emotional neglect. These videos Hit Home like nothing else I’ve seen or read thus far.
Shame is the foundation of hubris. That is profoundly true. FRONTING self-worth is the only option besides actually having it from positive authentic mirroring by one’s raisers (parents AND society).
I heard someone in Bible group talk about women in this society think too much of themselves and can not see the need for Christ. My experience is that most people are so beaten down by the world, the last thing they need is to be torn down. What most of us don't get is healthy and regular encouragement. I got saved when a Pastor told me God loved me. I thought it was about being judgemental and rude, shaming to people, because that is what I experienced. My parents were like Tim's in relation to the evil of pride.
Unfortunately society isn't healthy, cultures aren't healthy are different/conflict. No one is perfect we are not saints. But identifying and correcting.
Tim out here teaching me how to be a healthy adult one hour at a time
Thank you, Tim. Your videos have changed my life, I finally understand and have answers for so many questions I've had for years.

Feeding your subconscious with true knowledge is healthy for you as you sleep.
