This channel focuses on combat flight simulators like DCS World and IL-2 Great Battles. If you play either of these games or flight simulators like Microsoft Flight Simulator 2020 and enjoy aviation and dogfighting then this channel is for you. Even if you are coming from War Thunder and BF2042, you can learn to fly these combat flight simulators.
I play using TrackIR5 and do not use VR, this means that I am able to capture footage for tutorials, how-to-guides and other multiplayer tips and tricks video in 1440p.
Eagle Dynamics has made it easier than ever to learn DCS because the game is technically free. The game has the F-15, F-16, Su-27, Mig-29, Mig-21, Mig-19, Mig-15, F-86 Sabre, Jf-17, Mirage 2000, F-18 Hornet and F-14 Tomcat. There are soon other modules coming such as the Mig-23 and F-4. Lastly, there are helicopters like the Mi-24 Hind and AH-64 Apache.
The same is also true for IL-2 Great Battles. With Battle of Stalingrad, Battle of Kuban, Battle of Bodenplatte, Battle of Moscow and Battle of Normandy being released, there is an immense amount of variety covered. The Bf-109, Fw-190, P-51, Tempest, P-47, Mc.202, Stuka, Ju-88, He-111, and so on are all in the game. I focus on making videos to make that part accessible so you can dive into IL-2 Multiplayer. - Ігри

Sad but true, thanks for highlighting the issue Enigma. Wish more people would. It should be called "4th Gen: Western Combat Simulator" instead of DCS.
It's a real shame but compared to everything else that is broken in DCS, there is no one to blame really. Devs can only model planes if they get enough documentation and we all know how complicated this process can be.
It's not only REDFOR governments/manufacturers, British MoD for example is just as restrictive. The difference is that for blue there are multiple countries building aircrafts while for red it's only Russia/China, which happen to have govs that want no business with the simworld.

There were manuals provided, but if i recall, they deemed it as not reliable compared to what they have. Which was also showing discrepancies in performances to what is being compared to videos of the actual aircraft. (Video of su-30 in transonic regime where it was faster than SU-27ED albeit draggier.)
And thats why i keep saying, we need more FC3 style modules , that way players can have a somewhat general idea of individual character and module behaviours but without going into much detail sort of speak in order to keep a secret of what the public should not know .
I bet player base and retention would increase considerably 🧐

this is basically Tempest's Blue Flash server. It was a great pvp server with a similar set up to Enigma's but with the Mirage 2000 and F14 being the best jets on the server.
Then for some reason they put the f16 and f18 on blue team and now it's just everyone on blue blowing up objectives like they are on Hoggit.
I sad that sever went down .
Never go full F-16/F-18.
Is that why i hardly see anyone of that server these days?
Kind of like Enigmas server but there's frogs and hinds absolutely wrecking the objectives and being able to dogfight and hinds are shooting missiles up at jets but then red can fly low over blue territory because the warthog can't dogfight and the blue helos don't get missiles. Not to mention red wins every campaign and then Enigma says blue is actually stronger so he constantly buffs reds
@@deekamikaze i disagree with you. The A-10 Beats the frogfoot easily. The problem is that you have no sensors and electronic in the redfor jets and that's where the F-16/18 are just unfair. I played a lot on red side and get wrecked by 16's, 18's and even 14's with phoenix missles when i was flying a F-5 ir a russian low fidelity module. They saw me on their radar when i just put my engine on if you know what i mean. It would be more fun if there were a limit of weaponary and places of jets. So that not everybody is taking the newest and best jets with all of the best and expensive weapons you can get. But at the moment it's a Topgun simulator and most of the people play for themselves. It's hard to find a balance in this game because there is none.

Everyone discounts the Jeff. It’s a very formidable aircraft both BVR and in a close range dogfight. Just don’t rely on its guns though. Unless at point blank range, it’s pretty useless.
At this point, I'm so used to the Soviet instruments that western cockpits feel alien. Redfor ❤

The "Fulcrum-A" NATO designation refers to three variants. 9.12 (original VVS variant, most capable), 9.12A (variant for Warpac, downgraded radar and no nuclear capability) and 9.12B (variant for non-Warpac, further downgraded radar, no nuclear capability). It's confirmed on the Russian language ED forums that we are getting a proper 9.12 rather than 9.12A or B

To some extent this is valid for us single players as well. I'd focus far more on the 21 if I had more missions and campaigns. Unfortunately the motto is "you can have all the content you want as long as you fly an F-18".
Well now I'm not sure I want to get into DCS at all. What can men do against such reckless favouritism?
Modern PvE servers are still a thing where you can fly around in any jet doing practically everything (A/A, CAS, SEAD, Anti-Ship, long range strikes) and have fun, maybe do a combined strike with your buddies

Su-17 is needed big time, red has no supersonic ground attack jets and with the F-4 coming out its gonna be a slaughter.
Red has the MiG-21. The Su-17 is not adding any significantly unique capabilities. An extra option on the CW server? I suppose
Su-17 has TV guided ammunition and ground surveillance radar (or smthg like it) + a wayyyyy bigger max load and amount of hardpoints @@CAL1MBO

I'm hyped about the Mig 17. As long as it is up to the current high standards of fidelity I'll buy in for sure. Personally, I play DCS for the realism and fidelity. I'm not interested in FC3 or the older modules they just don't do it for me. That's why DCS is the only video game in the flightsim genre I play.
This is amazingly true, I would kill for any kind of redfor attack aircraft rn...or hell even updated models and physics of the current redfor stuff or a FC4 pack with more red, SOMETHING.

I personally really enjoy and identify more with Red fleet , i think there’s something special about them 🤔 Personally, Reds feel more like they need a good pilot, as blues mainly need a bum in the seat, kinda like a systems attendant 🧐

no, Red Star said that it'll be the non-missle variant since they could'nt find/get enough information to model in the Mig 17PF(which had missles), nevertheless mig 17 is gonna be a day 1 buy for me :D
At least my pilot usually survives in the mig 21 when it gets shot down. I can't say that about western planes.

I'm sure I'll manage the unification, Vulcan, the F-4E Phantom II 😀, the Kola map 😆, AND the F4U Corsair 🤣 --probably simultaneously with the WWII Marianas map and the Essex carriers, and A6M.. whatever model number Zero we get--but I have no idea how long I'll be able to do this. I already have trouble getting my eyes over my shoulder; perhaps the Pimax 12k with foveated rendering will help.

DCS (ED) has turned into a massive joke that I have long since uninstalled after sinking 600$ into the game and thousands of hours since 2011. Recents like 'IronMike' attacking community members who counterdict him with evidence, HeatBlur refusing to apologize for it, even after their twitter got caught following only fans girls. Now with the F4E supposed to be 2 weeks away, it turns out that its not even in CBT while Ironmike assures us everything is fine, while in the same breath attacking and harrasing others who show facts and truth. More and more those under the Paid umbrella of DCS act like the KGB while the shrinking mod community makes the same fidelity modules for free in less time with one or several people versus an legitimate Developers. DCS is just a SovietStarCitizen. #ChangeMyMind.

To be fair this is more of a problem of pointlessly splitting the aircraft between red and blue. There's no reason to do it, not even a realism argument since all of the aircraft in the game have massive time gaps between them (even the warbirds) that invalidate any idea of realism from the get-go.
But that's because of to less players. If you would open a server with real time jets for an era there would be 2 players on it. So you have to put more jets and helos in it. Because everybody wants his favourite module and flying for themselves. But i understand your point.
