So many of you have questions about Pop Benito's Pizzelles or just pizzelles in general:
How do they taste? How do you make them? What do you cook them with? How do you store them?
Mary Campisi and her mother, Verna, take you step-by-step through making pizzelles by mixing up the very recipe that their family has used for decades.
Here's the link to buy the pizzelle maker that Mary uses: amzn.to/2Ep3rdc

🙏🏻 Thank you, thank you, thank you!!
My Mother passed away this past June, & it was unexpected. I thought I’d have years to make pizzelles with her, but sadly I wasn’t that lucky. So people, bake with your Mom now, because u never know what the future holds. My Mom’s Mother In Law was born in Italy,
& this is almost her exact recipe. Also this is almost the exact recipe for Biscotti ( 5 cups of flour instead of 3)
Enjoy 🎉& thank you 🙏🏻 again for this video! Very helpful & greatly appreciated

How Wonderful do do a baking video of a family favorite with your mom
I think I’ll be getting a mini Pazelle maker to do more than just the cookies
I plan to make mini waffle cones for cake pot treats and my daughter saw cannolis in a movie and has been begging me to buy her some.
Teachers and school staff love it when we make them super cute and tasty treats. I get creative.

Hello! You two are so cute! Missing my mom right about now because she used to make these for us kids. We're not Italian, but grew up in an italian neighborhood. Thank you for sharing your expertise "Mom!" 😊 I'm going to make these for my boys for the first time ever! I received a pizzelle iron today as an early birthday present from my husband because I've been nagging at him, ha ha!
God bless you and your family and have a Merry Christmas!

These are amazing! They remind me of my Nonna's pizzelles. She was from Abruzzo. I've tried so many different recipes, but this one's the closest to how I remember them. I made one simple adjustment. I used Anise oil rather than extract. Of course, it only requires 1 Tbl since oil is stronger. Thanks for sharing!

Yes!! I love anise! I wouldn’t want to eat them with vanilla. It’s just not the same!
You guys sound like my family. Half of us like the anise half don’t. I love vanilla but these and I dk how to spell it...I tried to google it and can’t find it anywhere but the really common Italian cookie we call viscuts just aren’t the same with vanilla! Hopefully you know what I’m referring to!

I have an old Magic Maid Pizzelle iron that came with basically the same recipe, just only 1/2 the amount of each ingredient except the baking powder. It calls for 1 tsp of baking powder instead of 2. My only problem is the batter seems too thick. I am supposed to put 1 tsp of batter on each pizzelle (which are the same size as yours about 5") and they only come out about 1-1/2" round.
Any suggestions as to get them more liquid to squeeze out better?

Gota a colher no centro do ferro pizzelle quente.
