And here we are! Al's turning 61 this month, and he hasn't changed a bit!! Looks great for his age, and he's still doing what he does best. I couldn't be happier for him :)
Oh my!! How ironic! It’s 2024 and Weird Al (64 years old) is at the top of his career. Meanwhile… who is this Pat Sajak guy?! I’ve never heard of him until watching this interview.
I think the problem here is that CBS tried to make Pat something he wasn't... he wasn't a bad interviewer, but he did unfunny sketches that weren't his style... and his monologues... not great... he just doesn't do scripted material well, and it doesn't sound like him. When he interviews people he knows, he's fine, but someone like Weird Al, who is clearly PARODYING a talk show appearance, and Pat just looks clueless.

"You're the man I'd want in charge." No one ever spoke truer, Pat.
Great interview. Thanks for posting.
I remember seeing this when I was a kid... It takes a set of adult eyes to realize how uninterested Pat comes off while interviewing Al.
This is making me want to watch UHF again SO MUCH.
Yes, when he's in his 60s, he'll still be weird and he'll still be touring.
Pat: "Do you think you'll still be doing this in your 60s?" You betcha. Not a Grampa yet, but maybe someday.
Banana slug burrito. That's a disgusting Weird Al snack I hadn't heard about. Again, hilarious clip!
I remembered this from the night it aired. What a train wreck of an interview. Pat just couldn't do it.
It's on DVD, I got it for my birthday. Great movie! Type UHF into Amazon.
I started watching the video and saw Al dancing like an idiot on the sofa and the first thing that popped into my mind was, "This is gonna be good."
This is so great. Al you are already master of the universe (at least in my house)
I JUST HAD A TWINKIE WEINER SANDWHICH!! They are actually fuckin' amazing!!!
I love hearing the audience laugh at Wheel of Fish lol!
man if pat sajak still had a show i would run on stage and flip him off right in his face.

weird al should have been in every movie
UHF 20th anniversary on July 21st.
I love his new look, but he was handsome then as well. Have such a ❤️ big crush 🥰 on Al.
i bought the DVD off eBay so i had it easy lol
I was just thinking about UHF the other day! It was on VH1 Classic and I don't get the channel anymore sadly.
Clearly, Pat Sajak is trying to act like David Letterman
"Stuck in a closet with Vanna White"
there are many things you can make with limeabean cookies a snake a bigger snake and Pat Sajak's head
call me crazy, but I think someone has the giggles
Damn dude, I made that comment a year ago, I feel like I've been contacted from the past.
About $10 on DVD. Maybe cheaper.
Weird Grandpa Yankovic, hmm.
