- Yep... I thought it was time for you all to see what products DON'T make the cut. All of these products contain either sulfate, parabens or silicone. If you are trying to use products that are CG Friendly or products that won't cause build up... avoid these products.
ALWAYS READ the back of the lables to see what ingredients you are putting in your hair. It's so important especially if you are transitioning or trying to recover from heat damage.

Just some extra info on silicones 😉:
The silicones that have PEG in front of it are water soluble and won’t cause build-up on the hair. Dimethicone copolyol is also a water-soluble ingredient. If a water soluble silicone is in for example a deep-co, the product will still be able to penetrate the hair because the product is applied on wet hair and rinsed out with water. A non sulfate cleanser can wash these silicones out easily.
This is true
yaaaas maam!
Lois that's true... I know there's a big push to use products that don't have sulfates, silicone, parabens but in all honestly we've used products that had these ingredients in them and nothing serious happened to our hair. Lord, knows my mom used products back in the day when I was growing up, and my type 4 hair had no issues with them and grew like a weeds. I do make it a mission to look at ingredients no disrespect to Bianca, but the natural hair community isn't in my bathroom when I'm doing my hair... soooo, I use what works for me.
@@GlitterSkies Its so weird... as I mentioned... growing up for me my momma use luster's pink moistening hair cream just to name a brand on my hair. I know times have changed and the way we take care of our hair has changed as well. I use a mixture of products that are sulfates, silicone and paraben free... I totally agree with you, we have to rock what works best for us :-D
And also there are volatile silicones like cyclopentasiloxane.

ogx actually made a silicone free shampoo and conditioner that curly penny reviewed and she gave it 4.5 stars
She also said some of these brands do have some good products that are protein-free etc.
As a guy with curly hair I clicked this video and she said “hey girlfriends” and I was

As a licensed cosmetologist, not all silicones are bad. You have to do your research and understand the chemistry of products as it relates to hair. Just saying they have a certain ingredient without the proper knowledge isn’t really fair. Ouidad is a phenomenal professional line for curls. You also didn’t try the products to give it a fair review so you can’t say you didn’t like it.
I agree with you, I tried Ouidad and my hair loves it
Exactly! The silicones I use are what my hair loves n needs . It’s not good for her to say all silicones are bad
So how do we differentiate between good or bad silicone?
I understand your point, but looking at her hair its clear that she doesn't need silicones.. she has shiny, vibrant hair naturally thats why heavier ingredients like Silicones are not needy in her eyes
Best product on my 4c coily hair!!! The best, no crunchy feeling it's left with so much moisture
My hair loves silicone
The other day I saw a shampoo that read "no silicones" and matching conditioner as "no sulfates". Why, just whyyy? You're not fooling anyone, Pantene.
Thats a nice swindle tho 😂
😂😂
OH MY GOODNESS! Pantene straight up lies about their ingredients too. IDK how the get away with it... their rose water line is marketed as sulfate and silicone free, but the conditioner has bis-aminopropyl dimethicone in the top ten ingredients... This silicone is not able to cause build up, but it is still not water-soluble.
Joud Faisal THROW IT AWAY😳😳😂
@@melissamiller9071 Pantene sucks! It coated my hair like there is no tomorrow 😣. Trash is what it is. Thank God that clarifying my hair removed all the gunk. I tell ya, you can seal cracks on your walls with them silicone Pantene has in its products
Unpopular fact: Almost every hair product is going to have some type of ingredients we (curly hair community) try to avoid. If you don't want these ingredients you are better off making your own stuff. Your hair is going to grow regardless because that's what it's meant to do. I heard this info from Chazz and when you think about it she's right.
No girl, you're 100% right and don't have to be apologetic about it. Your "unpopular opinion" is pretty much the truth imho.
you right mate

Potato_Soup I can relate!!!!
Idk. I love ouidad. Watch manes by mell. She talks about the use of silicones etc etc.
Haha me too 😂
Same potato, same
Potato_Soup crap...I have quite a few of these products...I wish someone would do a video on product for fine wavy/curly hair...I waste so much money on the wrong products!
Not all sulfates and silicones are bad, sulfates are supposed to cleanse your scalp. There are so many silicones and sulfates but they all get a bad rep, our hair needs a good balance of everything. Following the Cg hair method gave me flat roots and terrible dandruff because my scalp was never fully cleansed
Right? I have alopecia, so when I give up sulfates most of my hair falls out. I wanted to know if these products work, not if they should be discarded without testing because they have prohibited ingredients for the CG method.
Exactly.
Girl, I feel like I've become a chemist in the past few months since I discovered your channel!!!!😂
This should be trending. I've bought soo many of theese and wasted sooo much coin. Thanks girl!
Hi what products do you use in your hair
Ouidad has literally been the best thing for my hair. I don’t use their whole line (because it’s too expensive), but the conditioner and gel in particular are incredible. It gives me the strongest, shiniest, bounciest hair of my life. It’s definitely worth a try!
same!!!
Same!
I love it 2
Ohhh the gel which one ? The light one ? The tress effect ? I don't like hard cast, soft hair, is it dad ?
Horrible frizz with their anti frizz gel🙄
Carol’s daughter has never worked for me. It makes my hair hard and dry. I don’t know....it’s weird. I use 75% Shea Moisture since 2013 and my hair is healthy🙂
Same happened to me. I thought I was the only one with same results.
@@SkyDreams2 yes mine too, and it's supposed to be sooo good, it was expensive and a waste
Annette Williams carol’s daughter used to be good. However, the owner Lisa Price sold her company to A big white company, I can’t remember what company she sold it to
Me too! Walmart sell sample of carols daughter. I was so excited and just as disappointed after using it

love that youre giving these away. silicones in shampoo create more slip, because most silicones are water soluble it just washes out when you rinse it (I use the ogx coconut curls shampoo sometimes). Also I'm pretty sure cyclopentasiloxane is a silicone that evaporates, so it causes 0 build up. One of my holy grail products Aphogee Curl Definer has Trimethylsiloxyamodimethicone. A lil bit of it goes a long way. Everyone's exp is different but my hair hasn't changed at all since switching out of the CG method.
My hair is waaaay better since I quit the CGM.
I love amodimethicone for my hair. I actually look for it in my leave in products. I don't believe anyone should be completely anti anything. There are some 4C curly girls that even use petrolatum as a sealer. If you have high porosity hair, after moisturizing, sealing with petrolatum may keep your hair moisturized longer.
@@ioriginale Facts! works well for my younger brothers hair type, its sooo soft.
fawk cku yes! This! The products I use with silicones are water soluble or the ones where they evaporate when coming in contact with hair or where they just need to be rinsed with a clarifying shampoo which I do once a month 🤷♀️ honestly not a big deal
Yeah I have 4c and I’m in love with the silicone. I look for it lol. The extra natural products really don’t control 4c hair enough. 🤷🏽♀️
I love ouidad line for kinky hair. My hair is super moisturized and healthy.all silicones aren’t bad, most are water soluble.
Agreed! Love ouidad
You're like a curly hair mentor that teaches everyone how to take care of their hair and i love it i would've been sooooo lost on my curly hair journey if it werent for you Bianca lol thanks for teaching me all about silicone, sulfates, and parabens youre the best!!! I don’t think she understands that not all silicones have different functions...a lot don’t build up and use moisture lock. Also not using sulfates don’t a good ideal. If you use conditioning cleanser’s as your routine and your not shampooing with regular shampoo you will get a build up on your a Scalp, specially if use styling products.
"Yeah that's a no from me dawg" hahaha best Randy Jackson reference ever!

If I listen to you I will never wash my hair never buy a product never look at your you're a videos because I'll be scared to death you need to say right out that what works for you may not work for me and vice a versa cuz I know some people that have beautiful long length Lee it and that use a lot of those products and if they do good for them who are you to say you are the shampoo Guru and you know some people are very gullible and they will listen to what you say and like I said everything isn't for everybody but all the products that you mention I would not go out and buy because I make my own products and I'm sure it doesn't have any Parable Parable or sulfates or silicone
are used products at your discretion if it makes your hair and you'll grow and it cleans your scalp use it if it caused no harm to you use it I don't go for the person on the soapbox and like I said before how in the world you going to tell people not to use something that's like telling them not to use a flat iron. To use a blow-dryer not to use water
Also OGX claims to be cruelty-free, but they're not!
Hi Bianca. As always, an informative video that's fun and easy to watch. I watched the video you linked with Penny Tovar and noticed Sodium Lauryl Sulfoacetate on your list of sulfates. Despite its name it's actually NOT a sulfate but a surfactant that's derived from coconut and palm oil so if you ever see it listed on your ingredient list just know that it's a naturally derived foaming agent. I use it in my natural bath products all the time. 🤓💕🙋🏽♀️
@Anna Bowen They are but surfactants aren't always sulfates. Surfactant just means that it foams and cleanses. Sodium Lauryl Sulfoacetate is a naturally derived surfactant that's not a sulfate. It cost significantly more which is why so many people go with the cheap synthetic surfactants like sulfates which also happen to foam more.

I'm glad to hear you're giving them away to those in need. Women's shelters always need things like this.
This was helpful I now know what products dont go on my curly hair shelf
before i started the CG method for decades i used sulfate once a week and conditioners and stylers with silicones I my hair for decades grew like a weed like more then the average of 1/2 inch a month My hair was shiny and looked amazing and healthy. It wasn't until i went CG that my hair is a disaster and it's been a year and a half and i do moisture masks once a week sometimes twice i do protien masks so I think and am going back to silicones because i never saw damage i always had much growth i then went through a few years of keratin and amino acid treatments and i got my curls back with the cg method but frizz and ygness has been a struggle. so silicones are fine for really hard to manage currls as long as you use a sulfate to wash them out and using a sulfate a coi uple times of month followed by a siicone free mask is fine i have decades of photos to prove it.
If you had no problems why did you change products?
CG doesn't work for everyone. You know your hair best. Go back to what you did when you loved your hair
For a lot of people, co-washes and conditioner rinses create an insane amount of build up on your scalp that messes with your hair growth. Its not for me either
I used to wash my hair every other day, use products that you definitely would've disowned me for even owning, used a hairdryer and a round brush to dry it, and heat styled almost every day. About three weeks ago I dove deep into your channel and five hours of binge-watching later, I threw out all of my products to start from scratch. Since then, my hair went from being stick straight (and pretty lifeless) to a shiny, healthy 2b (almost 2c)!!
😂😂😂😂😂😂 I can’t deal with the ending. People are needy and just want a lil attention lmao.. google it! I’ve been kickin it with you on UA-cam for a while now and your honesty is blossoming even more lately 👏🏽 👏🏽👏🏽👏🏽
I was legit scared waiting to see if you were going to bring one of the products out that I loved.

Same😂😂😂I was relieved when two of my fave products weren't in the boxes 😂
Honestly. Thank youuuuuu. I’ve been having panic attacks because I try everything. I did a big chop. Hair grew and then stopped. For 4 years almost it has not grown orrrr shrinkage is just nottt my friend. It’s very brave of you to say what you don’t like because I know you could make a pretty penny on your page promoting some of these. Your kind of going against some of these “for curly girl” big name products and standing up for the curly girls. So thank you. I’m very grateful
I need silicones in my life. I straighten from time to time. They’re really not the enemy
I love that she made this kinda of video👏🏽👏🏽

Thanks Bianca for breaking down the trashy product that probably harm our beautiful curls. So appreciate your efforts to make this video thank you so much 💓💓💓
Hey Bianca, I have 3b-3c hair, my hair coarse, dry (my scalp too), damaged, short with probably a lot of split ends (I've never cut my hair yet), & I might have a lot if frizz which I don't know how to recognize it. As a kid my natural hair was always greased (I still use hair grease) & always braided , when I turned 11-12 my aunt convinced me to relax my hair, I think I relaxed my hair 2 to 3 times 4 max. The last time I used a relaxer was before my 13th birthday, since then my hair started been damaged, since back then I didn't know how to take good care of myself & my hair (& I'm still learning) I wanted to have beautiful hair like celebs but couldn't. Know I've came to realize that a relaxer is actually a permanent hair straightening treatment. In my circle & african beauty culture I grew up believing that a relaxer was just to soften the hair overtime & not make it straight. I've been going curly 4 years now, I don't know if my hair has finished transitioning. Normally when I shampoo & condition all together my hair would be curly & very soft (it also depends on the conditionner). I've switch to sulfate free brands like shea moisture not a big change, they have there raw shea & manuka honey shampoos which I hate cause they make my hair super dry & tangled, I love there coconut hibiscus curl smoothie (it makes my hair super soft, but stopped using it for now cause if I already grease my hair & add more creams to it I have a lot of product build up), I also like there raw shea conditioner, It makes my hair super easy to detangle & moisturized unlike the shampoo but is a little too thick like the raw shea hair mask which was okay but not wow (the mask was too similar to the conditioner for me, I didn't see it's necessity at all & plus the condi was much better), the only products that checked all the boxes & which is less talked about within there line is there 100% coconut oil hair mask (I super love it, It makes my hair super soft & curly, easy to detangle & has a coconut smell, but I'm still hunting for a better mask). Know I'm looking forward to try garnier wholeblends( which I've already tried), fructis & l'oreal ever line which sulfate free) shea moisture is too expensive in my country & since I'm in HS & don't have a lot of money I'm waiting until college to try high end brands . I used to use Kuza hair grease with a lice treatment but stopped it cause it made my hair lice worst, I've started using magic blue hair grease days ago, I'm aware that too much grease is bad for the scalp so I try to use less now, same with shampoo & cond. I've also tried styling my curly hair with creams & camille rose curling gel, but it wasn't good, I guess it's because I've used a lot of product, wasn't patient enough. Right know all I want is my hair to grow back by braiding & greasing it's the only method I know & can trust WHITHOUT TOUTUBERS TELLING ME TO PUT EGGS ON HAIR. I would love to try keratin treatments in the future I don't want my hair curly all time, & I would also love to try versatile relaxer that don't focus on totally straightening the hair but making the curls a little bit softer, I would love to try curly hair wash n go in the future if my hair accept it. What I want is to grease & braid my hair sometimes, do beautiful wash n gos with my curly hair, do Keratin treatments & blow outs or hair straightening, etc.. without my hair been damaged. I would also love to know how to grow my baby hairs longer, & make them softer they seem a little more coarse than the rest of my hair & are the reason why I can't do some styles. BIANCA ANY ADVICE PLEASE.
Yasss girl, so many brands make curly hair products with silicones which doesn’t help moisturize our hair at all. It’s a shame cause I’ve seen so many people with great curl potential waste their money buying them. I also avoid drying alcohols and waxes. Great video Bianca!
Hi Bianca ♥️ I saw this video pop up while catching your tea and stopped to watch lol I’m going back to watch lol I love your spirit curl friend keep shining girl!
Its tough because my hair is best WITH silicones. I wash it out frequently. .The natural products really do not work well for me. My hair grew and thrived growing up without natural products. Yet everyone has to try and see what's best. Bianca Rene is ❤
Whoa that’s a lot. I never knew why shampoos have silicones and conditioners have sulfates.
Thanks for this!! I forgot to comment this on your last video but a few weeks ago when I wanted to buy a new deep conditioner I literally searched “Bianca Renee best conditioner” rather than thinking back to commercials lol. You’re the best!! 🙌🏾 btw I went with Maui Moisture and absolutely love it 😊
Were hereeee AGAINNNNN❤️❤️ man that back to backkkk I’m loving it 😘😘 have a bless Sunday !!
I went to a curl specialist and she use mizani on my hair so I’m in complete shock that it is on this list but it makes sense. She used the entire line and I had legit a frizzy Afro with maybe 2 defined curls. That was the worst my hair was ever styled. I felt horrible. She took pictures but never posted and my hair looked horrible compared to all her other clients which made me feel bad about my hair because I thought it was just me. She also didn’t style maybe hair types like mine but I don’t use parabens, sulfate or silicone myself and my curls have been popping, juicy and no frizz. I am still working on learning how to diffuse but I am honestly impressed with how it’s been going and very grateful. Thank you Bianca!
I honestly do not know HOW to feel about this video. It popped up on my list after watching another video so I watched. All I can say is "Really girl"?? What works for some just does not work for others...I tried all of the "No No No" products ( its what I call them). Many of those products had the same effect; some worked some didn't. I now have a pik a product selection in that I have product favorites across the brands along with other stuff that I make myself from natural ingredients and essential oils.
I just started using aloe vera gel as a leave in and styler. It is amazing! I do not get any extra buildup from it. For some extra hold, I add a little bit of Biotera alcohol-free gel. There's no serious crunchiness, but you get lots of hold, even without the Biotera. At least I did, and I've been trying all kinds of products. If you're interested, it's Majestic Aloe Vera Gel. It also comes with a mist, which is great for refreshing and hydrating curls. I got everything on amazon. Not pricey either. You can also buy the aloe vera plant and scrape out the gel. Thanks for all of your videos!
Love it! Your such a good youtuber and just the other day I went to a curly hair salon that hired me as a blogger for them. You've inspired me so much.
we don’t need silicones but sulfates are needed from time to time on the scalp.
I don't mind the occasional silicone or sulfate, your hair will be just fine as long as you are properly washing and deep conditioning. I sometimes prefer a sulfate shampoo to remove products and follow up with a deep conditioner.
Yes because sometimes your hair responds to it but also I’ve seen where my hair is needing protein, it’s color treated and I think in order to get the protein treatment to work I need to strip the hair with a sulfate which will let you add moisture
This was so very helpful. There are so many products with names we won’t recognize! I try, but still have spent so much on products that don’t work well on my hair. The worst is that when a shampoo or conditioner does not have things we don’t want, others in the same line do have them. Thanks again for all of your hard work.
Silicones are fine (they don't cause any more build up than heavy butters and oils that CGs say are "better"). The only time silicones are NOT fine is when they're in shampoo. Otherwise, how are you going to clarify them if they're in the thing you're using to clarify?
I’ll be returning my Pantene and Aussie Conditioners today because of this vid. Thanks Chica 😁
I love the smell of the Aussie products and just like you was disappointed when I read the label and discovered the silicones.
Jennifer Barr OMG I’m so contemplating keeping the conditioner. I only have the Aussie conditioner. But the silicon is going to work against me. It’s such a difficult decision. All my other products are Sulfate, silicon and paraben free.
Thank you so much for this video. There’s just something about your personality that is charismatic and fun. Keep up the good work! Teresa
So glad I'm not alone in having a bunch of expensive "rejects" 😑

Ouidad has been the best thing for my hair
Thanks for putting these brands on blast! So many that I see in the curl isle and curl community, I didn’t realize weren’t CG friendly!
The ouidad advanced climate control gel is cg approved! But I think everything else in the line is not. I use that gel in the summer since it keeps out the humidity, and more importantly, has UVA/UVB protection
omg love how your nails matched your shirt!! but thanks for this video and I'm glad you're donating the products

Thanks Bianca!!! Lovely to give your curl friends what they want!! Personlly, I'm more with you on the "if it's on your chanel then you know it's sulfate, silicone, paraben free. I don't follow strict CGM so I'd probably use them given the chance since I'm poor
It’s funny how I stumbled on this video today. I got rid of so many products yesterday because I now know what to look for in reading the ingredients from your Target video with Penny. Lots of money wasted...but trial and error right? Now I gotta get to work on my hair and hope things turn out better for me because my hair is a frizzy mess all the time. So thank you.
Silicone doesn't inherently equal bad. The same stuff is in many skin care products, are you going to throw those away too? Other than that, I don't like anything by Cantu. My hair alwayd turns out bad and/or dry
Skin is waaay different than hair, my dude.
StarFire001 true but they're not wrong I know other curly people and even myself who use products with some silicone in some instances because it works well.
Nothing wrong with silicone, but for different reasons than your skin. With hair, silicone isn't inherently bad. It just builds up, and needs sulfates to remove. Since CGs don't use sulfates, the build up can get bad and weigh down the hair, plus not allow products to enter the hair. For people who use sulfates regularly, all silicones are 100% okay, and in fact probably protects their hair.
Cass E I think most people are still using sulfates in their shampoo. I’ll have to do my research because I have thick and long 4C hair so maybe it just isn’t effecting me. I just really believe conditioning is the key.
@@purplegirl8036 I use garnier fructis conditioner and shampoo and my hair loves it. I'm 3c and also I just use leave ins without sulfates and silicones. I'm currently using the garnier curl treat smoothie leave in and sleek &shine anti frizz serum. I used to use the texture ID leave in but my hair didn't absorb it at all.
That's awesome that you are donating these rather than keeping and hoarding them!
You should make your own best Curling Conditioner and shampoo with natural ingredients!
I use Ouidad curl quencher and there aren't any sulfates or silicones! I like it!

I notice for some brands you only had one product which you stated had silicone. For example, Miss Jessie. I guess I’ll refer to your other video on how to read labels. Not sure if it’s that one product, or the entire Miss Jessie’s line. I must say, I’ve been on my journey for 11 months thus far and bought soooo many products, mainly expensive ones that claim to detangle, moisturize etc. the only product that works well for me are the Miss Jessie’s pillow soft curls, and pillow soft gel. When I apply pillow soft curls, I can actually detangle my hair without difficulty. No other product does this for my hair. Also, Miss Jessie’s leave in conditioner makes my hair really soft. I’ve also seen many curly hair girls with big beautiful curly hair that stated they don’t mind using silicones. I guess different products affect our hair differently. What may work for me, may not work for someone else. My aim isn’t to use silicones, however, if I found a product that works, I’m sticking with it for now until something better comes along. My hair sheds a lot and when I use Miss Jessie, my hair doesn’t shed as much. I do appreciate the videos you put out, I have referred to your videos in the past which have been very helpful and provided me the guidance I needed on this journey. I have learned a lot from your videos in terms of how to care for naturally curly hair. So thank you.
The boxes of unused products tripped me out 😂 I will say that Bella curls surprised me. Never worked for my hair but I assumed it was silicone free smh.
All products contain silicones, or sulfatos, or parabéns..the only ones that don't, put it on the front of the label stating that its free of it.
Actually no... I have many products that are free of those ingredients but it’s not advertised on the front, always check the ingredients ☺️👍🏽
@@BiancaReneeToday well I mine are Brazilian hair products and on the front of theirs, it says they're free from those things. And it says whether its for 2abc, 3abc or 4abc hair so you don't have to waste time trying out something that you don't know is gonna work for your kind of curls or not, you i just go for the ones that say 3abc and 4abc. That's one of my biggest gripes with usa hair products it will say its for curly hair bur won't work cause its mean for the 2abc and type 3 hair alot of times so i quit using..and they're expensive my hair is down to my butt. Ugghh at least with the Brazilian products they sell kilogram sizes for the long haired people, And keep some of those ingredients out the product, and will label 2abc 3abc or 4abc (or all) on the bottle
I was really surprised to see the Ouidad wasn't CG friendly.
I'm in the UK and the price is RIDICULOUS! So, to see them listed, here? Nah.
I'm so shook Bianca actually did this video 😮.........THANK YOU!
You should do a review on As I Am Products
I personally HATE their products. Tried them because my hair was getting really dry using Cantu and it was SILICONE CITY and it had slip but when my hair dried it was dry and stiff and lifeless
Alicia Dent just shows how different everyone’s hair is. As I am is one of my holy grails.
@@kaylynboyd2035 mine too
I know you prefer to only do videos with products you like but I thoroughly appreciate these type videos from you!!! Pls continue,
Would love a gylcein free and protein free video Bianca
I know many years ago my sister told me about silicon and I didn't know anything about what was going on with silicone I wish that I've known more about hair products when I was younger but I am a natural girl and I make my own products just like Carol daughter if she can make them in her kitchen so can I I don't sell them put and I don't give them away because there's a lot of people that don't believe in being natural and being having healthy year so all I could say is to avoid it make your own batch of everything and if you need a extra conditional whatever if you have the money go out and buy it if you don't make it in your own home
Hi BiancaRenee,
I was surprised about Miss Jessies's products. I can't use any gels in my hair, no matter the company; crunchy, stiff, wore out my edges, and I think makes my hair fall out (Gorilla snot)anyway, after making my own flax seed gel I can nourish it with any oil I want, get definition, soft hold for 2-3days. Shampoos are my next venture-haven't found one I like, so far, they all dry my hair out. That'll be another DIY.
GREAT video, Good looking out

The only shampoos my hair has liked so far are the Creme Of Nature Argan and the Design Essentials Coconut & Monoi.
I bought the cantu leave in only to find it had silicons. Don't waste your money!!
They have multiple lines including one for naturals that is supposed to be CG friendly.
They have two types one is for natural hair without silicone , sulphates and mineral oil and other has silicone 👎
I bought the leave in conditioning repair cream...
I use cantu leave in they have a newer one that is silicone free Its amazing!
@@mysticari8928 I think I'll try that one then!!
You are the best!!!! Thank you for be honest and amazing 🤗🤗🤗 I’m so disappointed that some of my favourite curly hair influencers use and recommended few products with silicone or sulphates without even mention about it.
I would actually like to see more videos of products you’ve tried but they didn’t end up working... the same same way you film products that do work. I used texture id and it works really well for my hair... the only thing I would change is the fragrance.
There is a wonderful lady at my Sally's Beauty who has taken products out of my hands, put them back on the shelf and then picked an alternate product because the one I picked had silicon, phosphates or the other stuff. She has never led me wrong. If I were a hugger I'd so give her a hug for saving my hair.
🤣 wow! We need more people like her!
Since you're not a hugger, maybe take her a $5 Starbucks gift card or some sort of treat, with a note of thanks attached. ☺
LimeGreenNewb you can reach out to corporate so that the employee can be recognized company wide! #sallyemployee
I try to avoid glycerin. I live in Florida. It's very humid. It helps with frizz.
Yellow looks GREAT on you🥺
I’m sorry but it took Bianca damn near 4 yrs to grow her hair .who is she give tips ?
Wow you have so many products. I would love some of those. LOL I love your channel! Would love to see some more new wash days and night time hair routines, moisturizing routines
Thank you for this video 💛 can you make a video of your top 10 favorite products? (Including leave-in, deep conditioners, stylers & gels)
I’m amazed that so many high end products are not curly girl friendly!
I feel like silicones and sulphates do not negatively impact my hair 🤷🏽♀️. Still growing out my head.
Me too. So many naturals have said stay away from silicone, it has not impacted me negatively at all
I feel like shea mouisture is the safest option!!
this video was helpful thank you so much and i love you so much and i am a curly friend from Egypt😍😍

I only recently discovered the CG method...oh man, I also have a ton of products that I used once or twice in desperation to fix my frizz that I need to donate too. I held my breath and was so happy I didn’t see the Maui Moisture or Shea products I just bought today come out of your box! LOL thanks for this awesome video!
I have the Marc Anthony Strictly Curls curl defining lotion and it works well for me, it does have cyclotetrasiloxane but apparently that's CG approved!
