Its called studs, showing on new tires are little studs, that show the tires are new and no miles on them, and you need to control the yea hooooo country calls to the wild.
Amazing Bike and Great presentation! Getting mines this spring :) Upgrading from the ninja 400.
@@axnx8190 You hit a deer bro, did you get to keep it? lol.... Yea man that sucks, no one likes to see their bike go down and even worst something that bad. Well good that you're OK and much thanks to the deer you now get to have an amazing bike :) I'm going with the gray with abs. My 400 was green and so now I want to go with something different. plus the color matches my car.. A few things I'm getting rid of right of the bat is the mirrors and the muffler. The rest of mods will be done later.. For me here in Canada it's costing $16,000. It's my very first new anything so I'm super excited :) Safe riding man.. Yes indeed, let's go spring...
😂
Kawasaki is literally keeping the sport bike community alive.....I will definitely be getting this exact bike! Didn’t know that about the headlights either!!
Good Review. I thought 2018 was a cool model now i like the 2019 model
Appreciate the info.Thank you Having a visual to see what I’ve read in the owners manual makes this crystal clear I have the 2019 w/abs
I'm glad to have been of service! I bet you're loving your new Ninja!
10/10 review! Thanks, now I want one.
Closet thanks very much! I’m glad I was able to inspire you! The Ninja is an awesome bike, I’ve personally owned two of these in the past!
I've been trying to find reviews on this bike and haven't had a lot of luck.. im not experienced with motorcycles. your video was great, easy to follow, great information!
Hi Marshal, I'm glad you found my review helpful! I've had two ZX-6R's in my life, and I can tell you, they're great motorcycles!
Not a fan of the voice but nicely done. Low power cuts power by 20% but only above 10,000 rpm.
I'm glad you think its nicely done, I'm sorry about my voice though, can't do anything about that. Thanks for watching and commenting!
To be honest..why would you even comment saying such a thing? that is incredibly rude..
I'm sure there are plenty of things people could say about you and you wouldn't feel good about it.
I've just looked and seen one of your videos.. I can hear you, and I'm "not a fan of your voice"
You're a "grown man" and evidently have kids, or you just like filming kids play volleyball,
Have some manners.. just because "it's the internet" doesn't mean you should be a twat to people.
PS: Good video TPS, I hope this morons comment didn't and doesn't discourage you from making more videos and being yourself.
She nailed this review!! Kawasexi does it again!!!
Thanks for the kind words! Kawi is really puttin' in the work with their modern sport bikes.
Curious... how tall are you? Can u flatfoot?
Hi Thomas, great question! I am 5'9" and I can flatfoot the ZX6R.
@@TEAMPOWERSPORTS geez I'm 5'8 but only have a28 inch inseam....i don't think I'd be able to
wait... what!? glenwood, raleigh, NC!? welp i know where i am dropping by next i am back home...
9008 Glenwood Ave! Stop by and see us sometime!
Great review, im from fayetteville NC. I just brought a Kawasaki ninja 400 a month ago and I've been happy with it. I am curious about riding a 636
Congrats on your new Ninja 400, those are as close as one can get to supersport performance with an entry level sport bike! Imagine your Ninja 400, but with 3x the horsepower, and that is the Ninja 636. Better suspension as well. I would offer you a ride on the 636 except we're sold out!
Say what you like about Mickey mouse.. I enjoyed this review.
Wooohoo !!!
Great review thanks... could be a second bike for me maybe 🤓
pity for the front end really
Awesome review! Super clear mic set up as well. Would be curious to know what your mic set up is in your helmet...?
Hi Rob, thanks for watching and commenting! I'm using the Sena 10C combo headset for both video and audio. It doesn't have the best video quality (720@60) but it has the best audio quality.
Just got this bike, I'm a new rider and wonder about the quickershifter. I know I don't have to use the clutch but can i still use the clutch if I want to? Or does it hurt the gearbox?
I was skeptical about quickshifters the first few times I used them, but if it is built-in from the manufacturer, then I would not worry about hurting the gearbox. The 2019 Ninja 636 is equipped with quickshift UP ONLY, so as long as you're not trying to jam the gears down, you should be okay.
On another note, I did notice that the quickshifter wants the RPM's to be at a certain point before it will slip into the next gear, so it seems it has some form of safety feature to prevent jamming the gears.
On a personal note, I don't prefer using the quickshifter when I ride, and while it is equipped with the technology, I don't use it during normal use.
I hope you're loving your new Ninja!
This response is super late but incase anyone else watches this looking for the same answer. You have to turn the quick shifter on by holding the select button for 3 seconds. After that the shifts are very smooth and you won't have to roll off the throttle to do it. It will cut the power to the engine like you would need to do if you were doing a clutch less shift but with no worries of stripping gears.
Great Video! Thank You!
Voice is lovely and information is present through the video along with character and specs. You've earned a sub hope the channel boosts
Thanks Brandon! We appreciate the sub! I'll continue to bring the content if people keep watching!
"Out here on these city streets" - while riding in what looks like a suburban/rural woodland lol
The Raleigh, NC area is interesting... Major metropolitan area peppered with woodlands, we're lucky enough to have a location right next to Umstead State Park, providing much more interesting riding than the teeming throng of traffic in the city center.
not a fan of the front. I regret selling my 2013 :(
Different strokes! All I'm saying is that having both headlights on is most excellent.
@@TEAMPOWERSPORTS Since I wrote that comment a couple days ago, I've been obsessing over this bike. Today I went to go see it in person. It is absolutely beautiful, and I take back what I said. I'll be purchasing a pearl storm gray zx6r. And I agree, I love having both headlights on. Thanks for the video!
@@Therocky8912 I'm glad you've found the beauty in the new Ninja! Thanks for watching, and keeping us in the know! You're going to love your new ninja!
Nice review. Question: How's the seat height? How tall are you? tnx.
Thanks a bunch! The seat height is 32.7" and I am 5'9" I had no trouble controlling the bike, and when positioned at the furthest forward point on the seat I could flat foot on both sides.
@@TEAMPOWERSPORTS tnx
This is the best review I've seen on the zx6r. Really good job!
Thanks a bunch! We're just trying to bring an honest and objective look at motorcycles to the powersports community!
8:15, That red 2017 GSX-R1000 in the back is just like, "Yoohoo.....I here too you know!"
I do need to get out on one of the new GSX-R's, they are incredible machines.
I am really torn between this bike and the z900 as my second bike. I love the looks of the sports bike yet really want that low end torque the z900 provides for everyday riding. I love them both.
That is a tough call, especially with the money being as close as it is. I think my preference would be the Z900, since it has a more comfortable riding position, but I'll never stop loving the lines of a full fairing supersport motorcycle.
The Ninja 1000 might be a nice middle ground
@@dblackviper2k3 I agree, unless you're looking for a lighter / more agile motorcycle. The 636 and the Z are going to feel substantially more nimble, in my experience with the three.
I am leaning that way, although a supersport has always been my dream, I am a little older now and the z might be a better fit. Never the less, I will look at them both come this spring before making my decision. As for the Ninja 1000, I know your just joking around but in all honesty, I have never wanted anything more than a 600cc class supersport as it would be more than what I would ever need.
@@fnbeansover no seriously, the Ninja 1000 not the zx10r. Basically the z1000 with fairings, might be called the z1000sx in some countries. It makes a touch more power than the zx6r but weighs more, it's a sports tourer
Sold me on my second bike with this video
Thanks for watching and commenting! I am 100% positive you'll have a blast on the new 636.
Would you recommend as a beginner bike?
Great question! I would usually not recommend a supersport 600 as a first bike, however, if you've got excellent mechanical knowledge, have taken a rider skills course (MSF), and are willing to take it easy and ride within your limits, and use low power mode, and keep the traction control turned up, then yes, go ahead and dive on in with the 636. Otherwise, I would check out the Ninja 400, which has a power to weight ratio so excellent that it borders supersport performance, or the Ninja 650 which has the perfect blend of style, comfort, and torque to be lots of fun.
May I ask what your current skill level/experience with motorcycles is?
Illusion clan I would say yes, if you put it on Low power and traction 3 your not going to have any problems. Comfortable ride, the s22 tyres are great, kqs is great keep the throttle wide open and bang it up, brakes Are phenomenal as is the handling, I know all the because i own one (krt edition) the standard exhaust note roars when you give it the beans ! Seriously even in the wet it is such a confidents inspiring bike
@@TEAMPOWERSPORTS i had the same question, ive taken my msf course & passed with flying colors ,i was gonna get a 400,but i wouldnt consider myself a beginner,i e been studying motorcycles for about 5-6 years now,so i have the mechanical knowledge as well as the little bit of hands on knowledge i got from thr msf,& im pretty confident in my skill no dount that i can start on the 2019 636,i will be taking it slow tho, getting intuned with the bike & gradually increase myself as i go
@@ghettosoldier876 The only reason I caution against the supersport for the first bike is because that's like putting a new driver in a corvette or supra, it's not that you can't drive it, its just that skill comes with practice, and 120-130 horsepower on something that weighs 400lbs is substantial to say the least. I've been riding for 17 years, and I'm still not able to ride these supersports to their fullest capacity. NOW THAT BEING SAID. Get the bike that makes you happy, you've got to ride it, you've got to look at it, and if you feel you are capable, then you get you a Ninja 636, because they're awesome.
Great review
Thanks very much friend! Have a great day!
Kawasaki bringing it in 2019!!
It's gonna be the new hotness in the 600 class!
I love Kawi for always being the wild card!!
ur voice so sick
Thank you!
In my country the price is 14.160 USD!!! Why?? (Hungary)
In Italy it's 12k €, probably because of EU tariffs.
Your voice sounds weird... Like it sounds like you are you using a voice changer... Or a bad mic idk :/
I know what you mean, but the truth is, my voice is just weird.
@@TEAMPOWERSPORTS i guess so lol
3:25
@3:20 - goes from about 20 to 45 in 5 secs and says "woohoo" like that was exciting...
All motorcycles are exciting, and I don't personally ride a sport bike daily, so its always a refreshing surprise to feel the acceleration from an inline 4 cylinder.
@@TEAMPOWERSPORTS all the power to you! if you enjoy it, thats all that matters! Great review , i have the green KRT edition and im obsessed!
@@lorenzolarsen8406 Thanks friend! That KRT edition is crispy fresh! Thanks for watching and commenting!
