If you do the coyote engine you gotta cut the shock towers out and put a mustang ll suspension kit with coil overs curing and welding involved. I hear some guys notched the shock towers not sure the year
will be more then just the engine, you will have fab work on the car, shock tower deletes, reinforcement of the frame to handle the strut braces being gone and what ever rust they find while in there. Mustangs always have rust. Time for a restoration. good luck, enjoy the vids
if you guys want to support the build its very easy! watch video to the end, link, share>copy link. If you're feeling extra generous I do have stickers for sale!
Or a Ford Racing: 363(4.125 x 3.400), 351 windsor alluminum block(428 cu.in. or 4.125 x 4.000), cast iron block coyote (95mm × 99mm) are some alternitive options.
@@gen1c8rs88 no, not at all a 351 block stroked www.fordracingbyspeedshopdirect.com/Ford_Racing_Aluminum_427_Cubic_Inch_600HP_Front_p/m-6007-z427aft.htm
Bro..I don't think you remember me, but its crazy how you've grown so much. I remember you had the 3v and now look at you. Anything's possible.I said I was going to start a YT channel but never did lol Good content as always !!
I would like to swap a ford engine in my 69 mustang fastback.. I am looking into reliable mustang engines with stick shift.. any recomendation/suggestions?
so youre going to wind up fixing the gas leak when youre filling up before you do the engine swap, right? I feel it would just be simpler doing it in that order since then you wouldn't have to worry about any leakage after you swap and you would wind up filling your tank more
If you're aiming for 1000+ hp you should go with a dart cast aluminium engine block, it can stand the power and its lightweight since its aluminium. Pick up an eagle or manley forged stroker rotating assembly and a couple of trickflow heads and a big cam of your choosing . Let Wayne put his magic touch on them and you will have a solid foundation that can hold 1500+hp easily . Go with an Msd ignition system ,and you are all on ,whatever forced induction system you will choose . You wont make enough boost to brake it .
Or, you could just go Cam, higher compression pistons, after-market aluminum heads(!) & induction (Sniper?) and add a turbo. Make that little 289 Scream.
honestly a 4.6 or 5.8 will fit the car better bc those engines got a deeper tone in exhaust note while the 5.0 coyote are raspy and higher pitched and it’ll take the classic american muscle vibe away. (my opinion)
New fan of the channel here. If i may offer up a suggestion for this awesome car, stay away from the racerboy 17 million horsepower nitro whatever, instead focus on building a reliable rig with new brakes, good suspension, power steering, good wheels and tires. Just my two cents! Awesome job and keep it up
You could get a 3V for pretty cheap these days. Probably far less than a Coyote...But if your going to do a full engine swap, and you have to do all the surgery to fit either 3V or Coyote..may as well do a Coyote. I love the old school 428 idea as well
I was having a shit fuckin day until 10:32 of this video 🤪🤪🤪🤪🤪🤪🤪🤪😆😆😆😆😆😆😆😆😆🤪🤪🤪🤪🤪😆😆😆😆 I’m so fuckin weak 🤪😆😆😆😆😆 .. thanks brotha 👌🏼🤙🏼💯 best Mustang channel on the TUBE 🚇 🤙🏼💯
Godzilla 7.3L Pushrod engine. Compact and lots of potential, but it's only new so there may not be a lot of aftermarket development. I saw a Whipple supercharger being installed on one in UA-cam video.
The intro had me like what are you doing step bro
FAXScarab821 😂😂
🤣🤣
lmfao
🤣
The intro had me thinkin I hit the wrong link
Bruhh i had the video playin on the tv it scared the shit out of me 🤣
Seriously I was all, I'm on UA-cam right?
boys I just got done checking out a 7.0L 428 Cobra Jet Engine 👀 next video!
Yesssss I would like to see this thing have an old school pushrod they can make plenty of power NA
i would recommened that aswell
This is going to be sick
Doo itttt!!!!!!!!!
Yessssssir broooo
Never do that intro again I was on full volume 😂 roommates are home
Honestly you should’ve did a 427 Windsor and make 500 of old school power but it’s not my car but coyote swap is still awesome !
Who's ready for more powa?!
Nate Rider moa powaa baby
Moar!
You fu**ed the vid with the first soundtrack bro 😂
MO POWA BABY
No Ls pls
Lmfao mustang got him dressing like a 80s dad
Dude, go old school. 427 small block Ford with Fuel Injection. Keep it traditional.
If you do the coyote engine you gotta cut the shock towers out and put a mustang ll suspension kit with coil overs curing and welding involved. I hear some guys notched the shock towers not sure the year
Dude do something that doesn’t take to much time! Your channel is great but the builds take so much time people forget about your channel!
I want to do a coyote so bad! but $10,000 for everything... SHESHHH Imma try my best
Didn’t you spend that much on super snake wheels 💀
Try ebay, Facebook, or offer up

Built coyote N/A. Ground up. Solid build, lots of predictable power and just screams. I so badly want to work on your rigs. Love the channel buddy.
Coyote swap it
First youtuber to document on video a restoration on a classic mustang now thu is awesome
I know but hes documenting the process of making it go fast as hell so theres no other youtuber with this much of a fanbase doing this
@@Kevaloon no its not, has rust bubbles lower doors, pass a pillar, I bet if you check paint thickness will find bondo
that intro almost got me in some trouble lmao
Lol same
Get a 347 stroker!! Plenty of power but not super sketchy with the old suspension. And you won’t have classic car fans giving you death threats.
I think it would badass if you bore and stroke a 351w to a 427
If you drop an LS motor in that 68 I will no longer follow the build!...lol
Same.
stop being so sensitive.. goodlord
Ws6Ms stop having a opinion omg
How can you not like this Beverly is gorgeous

The 5.2 VooDoo would be nice 👍
Nate's ford mustang is world best modified car
347 stroker would be plenty of power for that car... keep it oldschool dude.

@@gen1c8rs88 why go light ., 427 stroker

I would do a N/A small block based stroker to keep weight down. Maybe you can make it a high revving motor to up the fun factor even more
You think you can make it powerful enough to wheelie?
I thought i was on wrong site lmaoo wtf
Intro gonna get me in trouble 😂
I hear you do have to cut the shock towers for a coyote...
Dont forget about the 3V. You were the king and we need you back and represent
Is that silver color opal frost?
Where did u get that steering wheel?
Channel is growing quick man!
Nice touch on the intro lol I started watching this on lunch break at work and hear that shit im like oh god
I know it's expensive Nate, but voodoo 5.2 all the way. It makes the most sense. You know I'm right eheheheheh. I have to see this happen!!!

Go old school🤟🏻
Crazy that I’m just now finding this channel
No need for a mod motor..... you got a new mod built motor. You can’t beat the idle of a push rod motor. Put a 347 stroker in and be done with it
Imagine having your phone full blast inside the restroom while that intro hits.
Gen 3 F-150 coyote with single turbo
You can get 400 hp out of that 289 by making it a 331-347 stroker at a much cheaper price
or do a 427 stroker, 351 beast
Infidel I told him that in an earlier video and I totally agree. 351 can easily hold 1000 with boost
Does the 68 have subframe connectors? If not ide go with full lengths sub frames
they do have sub frame connectors
No subframe connectors, the mustang will come apart, had one in the shop, for arace yes, but not on a street car
@@dogsense3773 I have subframes on my 67. Cars felt better ever since with no issues. 408 stroker supercharged.
The second I walked into the bathroom, the video started and my phone was at full volume and my parents were next door 😭😭
Oof
Gen 3 yote with that 10 speed 😩😩
A built 3v would be lit, sounds like a traditional classic V8 and nobody does that

What happen to the 2020 gt500 he had
Damn the intro got me Scared 😅
Wayne has some serious skills

man idk what engine should go in that beast. I'm a 3v guy but a coyote would be cool.
you should add some detroit speed mini tubs to fit the wider wheels in the back and front. awesome looking car
Holy chit you dont mess around bro!
When you get the coyote you should put either a roush twin turbo or their 2L supercharger
Kenne bell all the way!
I might be interested in that 289, mine is starting to get blow by, let me know thanks.
With a coyote drive train youll need to make the front of the trans tunnel bigger
Why not a 4.6 4v
Clean coyote swap
Beast mode!!!!!
If you do a coyote, you must do a gen2 or gen3
The 428 though!!!!!!!!!!!! 😈
I just subscribed to you. You have a really beautiful Mustang. Please upload more videos of this car.
Yo nate ur fastback is gonna be sick with a corbra or gt500 swap. Can’t wait to see what u decide they all sound great for the Beverly

You should put the mustang badge back on the front
You should do a voodoo swap with a big kennie bell sticking out of the hood

Its time to talk
Im sure your dad understands he probably went through it too
Haha thanks man, I'm 20 lol. He does. Was funny though

The flat plane crank voodoo 🥺🥺🥺🥺
5.2l Voodoo. That’ll reel in some major views tbh. It’d be interesting asf too

Why don't u go for gt500 5.2 liter , and go for the mixture of modern x classic.
Can I ask how much this cost???
“Don’t expect me to pull 15,000 outta my ass”🤣💀
I think it would be really cool if you completely built the stock motor
If You Put A Modern Engine In The Fastback. It Wont Be A Classic Anymore Sorry... Keep It Carburetored Old School 💯
LS FTW!
It would be super cool if you twin turbo’d this one, opposed to supercharging
Nah! Keep it old school
