Thank you so much for your simple and easy to follow instructions to take up pants this way. I did it for the first time within 15 minutes and they are perfect. Im thrilled, big thanks for teaching me this skill! 🥰😊
Holy Smokes, that’s an awesome tutorial. I hate hemming jeans and usually take them to the cleaners to be done. I’m going to try this soon on an old pair. Love your videos!
This works well jeans that have a slight stretch to them but not so well on tight woven fabric (like work pants). The seams wknt line up without being able to stretch the bottom hem a little. Thanks for the tutorial. It just didnt work for my needs.
@@KansasFirefly yes. I’m confused. I don’t understand how that’s supposed to work. I’ve tried it and that doesn’t work for me. I had to unstitch and resew. Anyway I wished someone would explain in detail because that just didn’t work when I tried it.

Thank you very much. That was exactly what I needed. You would be surprised how many videos sounded like what I wanted and weren't.

What is the next step if I don’t need to tack the pants? Thank you.
Best one yet!!!!!
Cool! Thanks for sharing.
Did you take in 2 inches from the bottom or from the hem stitch ?
Yeah, I'm confused, too. Seems like the chalk line should be 2" plus the depth of the current hem. Right?

If she sewed the hem to the white line, then it's not 2 inches. She needs to redo this video. Measurements are wrong.
Good catch! Something is wrong.
Does this work only for straight leg pants?
Thank you!
What is a surger (if I want to remove the excess fabric?). Thanks!
Nice thanks😊
THANK YOUUU SO MUCH
