This works well jeans that have a slight stretch to them but not so well on tight woven fabric (like work pants). The seams wknt line up without being able to stretch the bottom hem a little. Thanks for the tutorial. It just didnt work for my needs.

Hi! I just saw this video today! I have a Dream Machine and wanted to try this out. I went to sewing, hit that button for the vertical stitch alignment, attached the v foot and hit ok and it won’t recognize that the v foot is there even though it shows it on the top left of the screen. I opened my manual and on oh 162 (which is describing something else but the only place in the book the v foot is mentioned) it says to select a stitch so I did that before hitting the button on the right but again the v foot is not recognized . What am I doing wrong here? Thanks.

Ty... first try at it, was not aware of the notch at the beginning(top) of the fabric. Couldn't figure out how this foot stitches and cuts at the same time... Now I know...😊

Mine says “trim not in position” “Axis not at 100°” “axis in reverse” … all these error codes. I took the cover off the whole machine, checked to see if anything looked sus, made sure all the belts were as tight as recommended. Everything looks like it has plenty of lube. Bobbin area is clean and turns smooth. My machine is a Husqvarna Viking Platinum MN 1000.

Thank you so much for your help with thread stuck in rotary hook . I haven’t been able to use my Bai machine after my first attempt .It bird nesting cause hook not took work properly. I have had two technical support and no work yet .HOPEFULLY this will work when I put the rotary hook back together. It’s been 3 months

Excellent tutorial. I would only ask that you used a dark thread for the demonstration so we could actually see the stitching a bit easier.

advise My sewing machine needs no design. I will design with pen on fabric and sew using free motton on sewing machine. There will be only two layers of cloth. One above and one below. So which is the best sewing machine in low budget
